Ogham Readings on Sundays

Hi Everyone,

 

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

 

Please note I will be taking off the week of September 10, 2023.  Readings will resume as usual September 17, 2023.

Hi Jan,

You drew three cards this week.

For the You position, you drew Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. This week you are empathetic in the right ways. You say only what is needed when it is needed. You let go of what is not meant for you with style and grace. Overall, it's a good week to observe how you are flexible in some situations and rigid in others. When have you not been as upright in your strategy? What were the circumstances and what were the consequences?

For the Situation, you drew Fearn or Bridge ill-dignified. Bad advice most likely comes your way, or worse, good advice comes from someone you don't like at all and the knee-jerk tendency is to reject the message because you don't like the messenger. The Ogham are trying to give you a heads up here about life being a flaming dumpster fire from which you must salvage whatever non-fiery scraps you can and ignore the rest. Another possibility here is that you are called on to provide what you cannot give, and in that case, bow out with a graceful "I cannot" or "I don't know".

For the Outcome, you drew Coll or Wisdom well-dignified. It's not that knowledge will come easy this week, it's that you will show the Divine you are willing to do what it takes to earn it. Knowing your limits, working diligently, and not giving up even though the daily grind takes its toll is how you self-realize and develop your spirit. That said, some fool may try to draw you into their dramatic web (this often happens to me online) and the Ogham suggest you ignore it.
