Ogham Readings on Sundays

Hi Everyone,

 

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

 

Please note I will be taking off the week of September 10, 2023.  Readings will resume as usual September 17, 2023.

Hi PW,

You drew three cards this week.

For the You position, you drew Huath or Obstacles well-dignified. This week may be challenging, but there is a high chance you and your family will handle the challenge beautifully. The nature of the challenge will be a matter of energy -- it will be hard to muster enough energy or it may involve dealing with weakness of character.

For the Situation, you drew Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. Straight up, this one could be a warning about illness or physical danger, so be on your guard and do not take unnecessary risks this week. At best, Tinne talks about being overly cautious in a way that is not helpful and blinds you to certain dangers. The classic example I tend to use is when molly-coddling produces a dependent, weak adult. Sometimes you have to take a step back and let them make all the mistakes.

For the Outcome, you drew Luis or Protection well-dignified. This week the guardian angels watching over your family are active. For the grown ups, this means doing the labor of the higher self, which should include discursive meditation, shadow work, and prayer. For the kids, giving them room to explore their interests and talents with gentle encouragement is helpful.

For your "What should I keep in mind?" The Ogham give you Onn or Community well-dignified. People should be your number one focus. Do you feel comfortable in that community and among those people?
