Hi Everyone,
I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.
Please note I will be taking off the week of September 10, 2023. Readings will resume as usual September 17, 2023.

Date: 2023-05-28 05:44 pm (UTC)Your reading last week was spot on, I spent the week feeling like I was on a treadmill with someone consistently turning it up as I ran.
My mood today is hideous at best. I am tied up in knots about my son's college choice. As I dig into the forms and the class requirement, none of which they send to parents, I am sick with the realization that I will be paying for an institution to attempt to disillusion my child from the family values I have strived to teach him. And this is a "christian" school.
What does your Ogham have to say about the possibility of A not going to this school in the fall? If he does go will have enjoy the experience and stay safe from the clear attempts to turn him into a PMC tool?

Possible Missing Piece(s)?
Date: 2023-05-28 06:05 pm (UTC)My husband is recovering well from a serious illness and made an interesting comment yesterday. He was in one part of the house and wondering where I was.
Essentially it went like this: "Where's Valerie?" followed immediately with a wordless wondering about where is an additional being/entitity. No idea who/what that may be.
After relating this to me, we went and laid down for a nap and saw monochromatic grey/white cloudlike patterns shifting behind his closed eyes.
What might your Ogham have to say about all of this? Specifically, who/what does he need to find/connect with? For what reason? How best to accomplish this?

Date: 2023-05-28 06:23 pm (UTC)To share: Ill dignified Fearn was quite the mood this past week, as I was away from the house trying to finish working to end a personal debt, and what connections that could have formed by staying in passed by the side. If the bridges were down, then the next best thing is to ford the crossings, and so other tasks that were previously delayed in the prioritization of this debt were undertaken sucessfully once the time was freed up by the missed connection. Ioho advised me to give up on fully paying this debt this time, to accept that a second (and final) payment will have to be done later in June.
To ask: What is it that I should be aware of this week, according to the Ogham?

For the You position, they give you Phagos or Wisdom ill-dignified. This is a message not to talk too much about the weird things going on right now, because it will either be misunderstood, mis-timed, or pearls before swine. Also, don't be frustrated by how little you know or how little others think you know compared to what you actually know.
For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts ill-dignified. At worst, this could be the Ogham calling you out for being a little spoiled, but it is also entirely likely that it indicates gifts given from the heart that sublimate to the power of seven, opening doors well into the future for opportunities you could not have seen coming.
For the Outcome, you drew Eadha or Limits well-dignified. It's not always fun to come up against your limits, but the limits you have respected in the past are paying dividends and the ones you've committed to respecting in the future will do the same.

For the You position, you drew Duir or Gifts well-dignified. Duir is already one of the best cards in the Ogham deck because it is symbolized by the mighty Oak, and oaks are sacred to Druids in general. Duir talks about being able to share your best gifts and to be able to sublimate them by sharing.
For the Situation, you drew Nuin or Communication well-dignified. Good things come from and go to the world of strangers. Overall, you make your points with alacrity and grace, you take criticism well and without butthurt, and you open doors to a brighter future.

Unlike the other two cards, Mór isn't the kind of good fortune you can affect or did anything to deserve: it's just there because it is a condition around you right now, much like good weather. If he decides to go, he gets Tinne or Defense ill-dignified, meaning he will have to negate many of the dangers of life and it will be scary and not always work out. That said, I still see this as a positive card for him and I see it only as a gentle warning, not a condemnation.
If he decides not to go, he gets Oír or Epiphany well-dignified, meaning he will realize that you don't have to go to college to be fulfilled in life or to go through normal rites of passage.
You've trained him well enough -- if he gets drawn in by the PMC, it was not your fault. You can only do so much. I have lots of PMC loved ones and it's not the worst thing that can happen.

The reason he needs to connect with this deity, who is a guide that will connect with him via his Holy Guardian Angel, is Ailm or Transcendence. They give Ailm well-dignified, meaning that he would not have been able to recover without this entity's help.
To help accomplish the connection, the Ogham provide Luis or Protection well-dignified, which is the signature card of the Holy Guardian Angel in my system of reading Ogham. I can certainly feel your pain on this one because there are many frustrating limits I must deal with, but the Ogham say that you need to work with the hand you've been dealt.
For the Situation you drew Duir or Gifts well-dignified. Regardless of the harshness of limits, you find ways of being open and kind that represent a sharing of your gifts. The Ogham say that you will give as good as you get this week, and if you are courteous, pleasant, and graceful, you will see returns on those investments.
