Hi Everyone,

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

For a more in depth look into how I read and interpret the Ogham's symbols, please visit my website druidogham.wordpress.com.

I am currently trying to minimize my use of PayPal.  If you'd like to make a donation, I would be grateful if you did it here:

Your prayers of blessing to the deity/deities of your choice are welcome whether or not you can donate.

Ogham readings are concluded for the week of April 23, but feel free to leave additional comments on existing readings.  Also, consider a BuyMeaCoffee membership for an extra reading every month... you can quit anytime. Thank you and see you next week for more free readings!

Hey Kimberley,

Kind of a big topic with a lot of potential questions this week.

As you know I live in Great Britain, and I'm pretty worried about the future of Europe. I love this country and it wrenches my heart to think about leaving it, but I can't really see how we're going to avoid a very messy future of warfare, mass migration, and ethnic conflict. We might be spared the worst if we manage to keep out of the next European war, but the other factors will not be going away.

I have a (lapsed) American passport due to my father's nationality, and I have seriously contemplated JMG's suggestion to migrate to the Northeast of the US - having visited Upstate New York, it was already at the top of my list of potential non-European migration spots.

My parents, although in blessedly good health and youthful spirits, are both in their 70s, and as their only surviving son, I'm not going to abandon them. However, dragging them across the Atlantic would be too much of an upheaval at their age - my father is American but older, and my mother is younger but very, very English, and probably would not adapt so well. Things would have to get genuinely dangerous in Britain for their moving to be worth considering.

So I feel somewhat caught between a rock and a hard place. I can think of a lot of different questions I'd like to ask, but I'll try and keep it as simple as I can - what do your Ogham think of my longer-term (10+ year) future in Britain? And what advice do they have for taking care of my parents in that context?

Immense gratitude from across the pond,
Luke
