Ogham Readings on Sundays

New year, same old Ogham!  I am delighted to be back.  

 

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

Hi Princess CK,

Happy New Year! This week may have its share of imbalances -- all three cards were ill-dignified. That said, I recently had an all-ill-dig reading and it was a great day, though I did have to adjust for what the Ogham was warning me about.

For the You position, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene. When this card is ill-dignified, you may have a week of not feeling well, in fact, it is very likely. Another possibility is having to do something where it is literally a dirty job, like cleaning out the fridge. Yet a third possibility is feeling morally or ethically compromised and feeling as if your conscience is urging you to make the "right" choice. On the other side of a Ngetal imbalance, perfectionism, OCD, and/or Karenism is warned against by the Ogham.

For the Situation, you drew Saille or Sensitivity. This again could have to do with feeling poorly, either easily pushed over the edge (oversensitive) or obtuse (undersensitive). Since it is in Situation, it could be happening to someone close to you. It can definitely be construed as a caution not to allow too much stuff, commitments, and activities into your life, because you need to narrow it down only to what you truly love. Even the stuff you are lukewarm about needs to go. There isn't enough time for all of it.

For the Outcome, you drew Huath or Obstacles. There could be physical danger this week, so be on your guard. Huath though, in most cases, is a warning not to jump to conclusions or to force outcomes. It is a card of Martial force and if it is imbalanced, it means there is either too much force or too little force. If there isn't enough force, expect a tough situation from which you will be tempted to run away, but running away is not the right answer. The Ogham would suggest you go against the grain and as far as what others think, their opinion be damned.

They were quite right about Hygiene, my bad hip has been painful all week.
