Ogham Readings on Sundays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

I will be taking off the last Sunday in December 2022 and the first Sunday of 2023 this year.

Hi AO,

This week may be a bit of a doozy -- it's my first all ill-dignified reading of the day. That said, I have had some of my best days on all ill-dignified readings, and often the Ogham helps me to avoid problems by providing an insight into areas where I may become imbalanced.

For the You position, you drew Koad or Confluence. There is some bad luck and uncontrollable misfortune this week -- the craptastic state of the collective astral may be one of them. Some of the bad luck is you being tested though, so take the reins and control whatever parts of it you can by making the best of it.

For the Situation, you drew Muin or Harvest. I know that all around me, I am in a situation where people are seeing the logical and often deadly results of very bad decisions they made over the last couple of years. Though I did not personally make those bad decisions, they affect my life all the time and I have to deal with the fallout every single day. This card may be referring directly to you, meaning you may be the one who is investing in a bad situation somehow, but it could also mean having to deal with a situation you did nothing to cause, such as in my case. Either way, we always have a choice how we can react. I am trying to be as grown up as I possibly can about it and this involves a great deal of not commenting when bad things happen as a result of bad decisions. If I thought it would help, I would say something.

For the Outcome, you drew Duir or Gifts. Duir really doesn't have a bad side. When it is ill-dignified, it can mean that privileges are being taken for granted, but it usually means that you are aware of them. The best way of using gifts is to share them and to keep them moving. The more compulsive you are about generosity, the more those gifts will return to you on the higher planes, transforming you into someone who is nothing but gifts. That's why poor people who are generous and give everything away are happier than they "should" be and sublimate themselves right into heaven.
