Now that she's well into senility, her programming kicks in and goes haywire every now and then. When I was involved in caring for my friend's elderly mother, I had to portion out her vast array of drugs for each day of the week. Her quack allopathic physician had her on ten different drugs plus supplements. One of them was Ritalin. She was on a couple of other psychotropics and I am convinced that somebody either at the pharmacy or with the in-home nurses was stealing them. They are easily abused and can be re-sold at a high price. My friend's mother often had reactions to the pills. They made her alternately foggy and depressed and it was clear she was addicted to them.
