I'm starting to realize that the electrical program I'm in is not quite what I was expecting. It is far more computer heavy than I was hoping. However, it looks like most of the work I'll do this semester will count for the powerline technician program, and so I'm starting to consider switching.

Hi,

My Ogham seem to think you should stick to what you are already doing. For Option A, they give me Quert (Apple) or Delight well-dignified, which is to say you'll have reason to celebrate if you follow through. For Option B, they give me Beith (Birch) or Intention/Beginnings ill-dignified, which means that it will be a rough start and that it won't carry the benefits you expect.

I just heard back about some details on the powerline technician program, and well, it sounds like actually getting into it will be trickier than I thought, and it also sounds like the careers are a lot less common than I had been lead to believe from the college website.

You drew three well-dignified cards this week. This week, I'm starting a new practice of reading the Forfedha (Ogham equivalent of major arcana Tarot cards) well- or ill-dignified. Two of the three cards you drew, the You and the Situation, were well-dignified Forfedha.

The first card in the You position is Mór or Sea Change. You are in the midst of a greater shift for the better. Prosperity in some form is headed your way, though in what specific forms, I have no idea.

For the middle Situation card, you drew Phagos. The prosperity of the first card is influenced by the mastery of a particular aspect of the mental plane. The Ogham are indicating you are attaining or have attained some form of wisdom that wasn't there before.

For the final card, the Karma or Outcome, you drew Onn or Community well-dignified. You are in the midst of building connections that help strengthen your niche in this particular incarnation. Keep in mind your community is in no way limited to corporeal beings.

I’m going to have to set up a Gofundme for insulin. I hate to do it when there are so many people who need it already, but I hope the Oghams are telling me I won’t need the Gofundme for long.

My husband takes insulin too. It makes me so angry that once he runs out in a few weeks, we won't be able to afford it; basically it will break our modest finances. Hopefully his Medicare benefits will take care of that soon though -- he's 62. He's had some success controlling his type 2 diabetes with diet and an herbal supplement called Amla (Indian gooseberry). I'm also starting to grow Jerusalem artichokes, which are a sunflower-like perennial with a potato-ish tuber that allegedly lowers blood sugar. They're just beginning to sprout in their dedicated box.

I turn 62 in a few months so if I can crowdfund my insulin till then,
I too will be on Medicare. I don’t understand why people aren’t protesting the cost of medicine. There are type 1 diabetics who die because they can neither afford insulin nor find another country to accept them. And it’s not just insulin, it’s many different medications. You’d think people would be demonstrating, egging and tomato-ing blathering politicians, but nobody who’s not directly affected seems to care. And that’s a short-sighted view. None of us knows when the doctor will say “You have cancer.”

Agreed; as far as I know, none of my relatives were ever in a TikTok (or treating COVID patients directly). Not that it matters... blame will probably be visited on the profession as a whole. Individual guilt or innocence stop mattering, when group movements get going...

Yep. Every one of them should have studied the French Revolution and subsequently decided to keep themselves off camera. Some groups are absolutely begging to be guillotined one of these days, and they are medical professionals, college administrators, Hollywood celebrities, and politicians.

This week, you drew three cards.

The first card in the most immediate or You position is Huath. Huath means Obstacles. Since you drew it well-dignified, the obstacle or onerous task will be successfully completed by you. Huath usually points to the task being difficult though.

The second card in the Situation position, which can be talking about outside influences on you and/or someone close to you is Tinne or Defense. Again it is well-dignified. This means you will neither be over or under defended this week, however, you will have a reason to need defense. Whenever Tinne comes up, whether ill- or well-dignified, I tell people to be extra careful with their health, drive or travel with care and attention, and to check their bank accounts every day.

The third card you drew in the Karma or Outcome position is Phagos. Phagos means Teaching and refers to mastery in some subject on the mental plane, and the subject can be quite abstract, such as "kindness" or "sorrow". Alternately, it could just be something you're good at, for instance I am very good at Music Theory. It is ill-dignified in this reading, which means that you face either the danger of thinking you know more than you do OR not having the confidence or stamina to learn what you are tasked with mastering this week.

The last few weekly readings you've done for me have included Tinne ill-dignified repeatedly; and I think I know what it's about now. My mother is currently throwing a fit over the fact that I am moving out, and worse, I'm taking care of everything myself, without needing her help.

That sounds about right -- she constantly attacks you on the astral; all bad parents do that to their children. If you're doing a banishing ritual, she's probably foaming at the mouth because most of that psychic garbage she is projecting is likely shooting right back at her.

The first card in the You position is Quert (Apple) or Delight ill-dignified. This is a gentle admonishment from my Ogham to slow down and savor the moment. It will be tempting to hurry or ignore the little things that make life pleasurable this week; take time to smell the roses.

This is a general way of saying you can be trusted with a secret this week, including the secrets you keep about yourself, to yourself. Since it is in the situation area, this could be talking about harmonious relationships with a friend, spouse, or lover.

My Ogham give me three well-dignified (balanced) cards.

In the You position, you drew Muin (Nightshade) or Harvest, which means you are seeing some rewards for your hard work. If you're a gardener in the Northern Hemisphere, this could be referring to strawberries LOL. On a more serious note, this can refer to all forms of harvest, including the non-physical kind.

The Situation card for this week is Coll or Wisdom (Burr Oak). This dovetails nicely with your first card, Harvest, and indicates that you or someone close to you is diligent with the proper attitude towards learning. This sort of attitude easily becomes a legacy that is sorely needed in the current age.

For the final Outcome card, you drew Duir (White Oak) or Gifts. As for karma, this is extremely good. Duir talks about generosity being sublimated -- watch as that which you give sublimates according to the spirit in which you gave it.

My goodness Kimberly, your reading last week was out of sight! My work week ended up being far busier than I thought, and though I don't have a mate, I received some romantic interest from two different women, one of whom I had previously written off, the other who I probably blew it with just because she was trying to talk to me while I was too exhausted. If there's a karmic choice I'm coming up on, it would involve me going against my own better judgment and have long term consequences.

Looks like a good week.

My Ogham give me Ur or Intimacy well-dignified for the You position, which rectifies the issues from last week. They are trying to say the best mate is the one you are always happy to be honest with. My husband has always been someone who understands most of my quirks and a great deal of my darkness, and that's been hugely important to the success of our 21 year marriage. I tell him all sorts of things about myself I wouldn't tell anyone else, that's for darn sure!

For the middle position, you drew Ioho or Grace well-dignified. Since it is situation, this is probably talking about letting someone go or them letting go of what was not meant for you/them. It could signify the wrap-up of a life situation as well for you or for someone close to you.

For the final Outcome or Karma card, you drew Huath or Obstacles well-dignified. There may be some rough sailing of the "only one way through... the center of the storm!" variety this week. You will handle the drama gracefully.

For the date, they give me Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. This is a good card to get for a first date as it indicates you will say the right thing at the right time.

My Ogham say Yes, you are understanding those synchronicities correctly. They give me Koad or Grove, which means Confluence and definitively says that you are discerning the subtler meaning with great aplomb.

For the second question, they say No, you don't need to get rid of those objects. They say the reason why will become apparent later. They give me Phagos, which is Teaching or mental plane mastery. Mental plane mastery of this topic is not yet yours but they say you are on your way.

Thanks for all the books you have sent so far! They are deeply appreciated. Please pray for me to put quality work into my Sacred Homemaking book so that I may finish the project, submit it to a publisher, and subsequently throw myself into the library project with abandon.

I'm the person who last week got Oír, Muin ill-dignified, and Luis ill-dignified.

I gave you a partial update already, but here's more. I had two realizations last week about my health; not sure if they count as epiphanies, but they were important and useful realizations. I also had the impression that the doctors I interacted with last week weren't paying their best attention. Maybe I'm being too literal but to me that seems to closely fit the "protection, ill-dignified" card: My assigned protectors not necessarily doing their absolute best. I don't know yet about the status of my personal project.

That said, I'm back to ask: What's up this week?

(Also, when it comes to the week a reading applies to, do you think today "counts" as part of last week since it's before the next reading, or this week since I, well, think of it as part of this week? Been wondering that for a while!)

For this week, you drew Ur (Goldenrod) or Intimacy ill-dignified. In the You position, this indicates you will either feel you are sharing too much or too little of yourself with those around you.

For the middle position or Situation, you drew Tinne (Eastern Red Cedar) or Defense well-dignified. This card means that you are balanced when it comes to defending yourself and that you aren't doing more or less than is rational and warranted. That said, when you draw this card, you need to be on the defense, driving or traveling carefully, getting enough rest, etc. because it indicates that someone or something is out there lurking in wait.

This week may be a bit of a doozy. They give me three cards, all ill-dignified, which means you have to be on the lookout for various kinds of excess or lack as far as imbalances go.

For the You position, they give me Eadha, which means Limits. You'll either be pushed past comfortable limits, feel the walls closing in around you, or both this week. The important thing this week will be to understand that limits (including yours) should be respected, and that may also be talking about the ways your life is limiting you right now.

For the Situation position, you draw Oír or Epiphany. Ill-dignified it means having that realization that some things just won't ever be possible. It's an ugly but necessary realization.

For the Karma or Outcome, you drew Ngetal. Ngetal means Hygiene or cleanliness. This is a good week to do any form of magic you know to cleanse yourself of crud.

Hi,

They give me two cards for you. For your first question, they say No, there isn't much different or new this week, and they give me Mór or Sea Change to express this. It is their way of saying that you might want to push yourself in a new direction after much careful thought.

For Crash and the stairs, they give me Luis or Protection ill-dignified. This is worrisome as it likely means you and Crash are vulnerable. You might want to do a hoodoo floor wash to get rid of any nasty entities seeking to mess with you and your family. A hoodoo floor wash is old folk/rootwork natural magic. It involves sprinkling salt, hot pepper, and vinegar in the afflicted area and then either mopping or vaccuuming it up. Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad to hear it. This week is a bit mixed for you.

In the You position, you drew Luis or Protection ill-dignified. This means that you have some vulnerability and/or are over-paranoid about protecting yourself which can also leave you vulnerable: for instance, the person who worries about their children, so they move to the suburbs and the children end up molly-coddled and woefully unprepared for adulthood.

For the middle position, Situation, you drew Nuin or Communication ill-dignified. You might feel misunderstood and withdrawn this week, potentially overburdened with having to be a public persona (and aren't we all public personas thanks to the online thing?) or you may feel the pain of obscurity.

For the Outcome, it's good. You got Ailm or Transcendence well-dignified, which means you will make the best out of your circumstances and you will rise above. A sense of humor and a healthy perspective are both absolutely essential this week.

Last week's reading was quite good and useful. I was able to use my existing sewing skills on costumes and learn some new from a professional (Phagos).

I was also able to build on existing networks of people with skills and resources in new directions (one of my life goals for many years has been to be The Guy Who Knows A Guy) and got several people connected to someone they needed (Onn).

And, well, we got through Swan Lake, and no one wanted to strangle anyone, mostly, teenagers, so I'd say I didn't do too badly at maintaining perspective and good humor (Ailm). Also, my husband is planing an overseas trip, and I have managed, somehow, to let him flail and fumble around without getting frusterated or stepping in, and only making a few suggestions, which he was grateful for.
