So I'm delighted to report the that statewide mask mandate is over where I live.

On the day it expired I walked over to the supermarket around the corner from my house to discover the mask sign on the front door was taken down. I went in and noticed many of the store employees were maskless, yet most of the customers were still wearing them! The neighborhood I'm in is very PMC/liberal/affluent and these people apparently are going to cling to their mask habits until...gods knows what. I take it most of these still-masked sheeple have gotten the jab, so really there is no 'logical' (was there ever??) reason for them to still be wearing their face diapers in public.

It was just me and maybe 3-4 other customers who were shopping sans-mask. I went to other stores and it was a similar situation. Of course I haven't worn one since that day. I consider it my civic duty to go maskless everywhere and show people it's a-ok to not submit to the mask cult. Anyway, with the mandate lifted and all, I'm still seeing people jogging, cycling, and walking their dogs while masked up!! WTH??

Secondly, (I mentioned this the other day on MM) as an effort to actually try and make headway into the DMH coursework, I'm starting to learn the Ogham divination system. I just wanted to say I've found your written work on this to be most helpful! Thank you.

I have seen several people masking up outdoors lately... it's nearly 90 degrees every day. They're bonkers. Right now, Illinois has gone to a policy of "if you're vaccinated, you can unmask" general policy. What that means translated from the Bulls**tese is that the government, corporations, and media have lost. People were going around the mask wearing and the companies that force the mask are suffering increasing boycotts, so the sore losers have changed the rules. In losing the ability to force the mask, their symbol has been vanquished. It was actually a major blow to the Deep State, which is of course trying to come back with vaccination passports.

I'm thrilled my work with the Ogham is helping!

Update on the insanity in Ontario: one of my friends is taking care of an elderly relative who has severe dementia, who wrote a living will that specifies, quite clearly, that only palliative care is to be administered. Our government has sent a threatening letter, arguing that this does not mean they cannot administer Covid-19 vaccines, since those were invented after the living will was written; and further, that because of the risk profile of Covid, there is a legal obligation to give said relative the vaccine. If the vaccine is not administered within a month, they are threatening to start the process to appoint a new legal guardian on the basis that my friend failed to take into account the needs of her relative.

There's also now talk about whether children, possibly as young as infants, will need to get parental consent for vaccinations, or whether anyone should be able to take a child to receive one. For school children, there's now talk from our government that once the vaccines are approved, they ought to be able to consent to the vaccines themselves; this would cover children as young as 3.

I did not think the push to get as many people vaccinated as possible could get any sleazier than it already was, but every time I thought it was as extreme as it could get, it turns out I'm wrong....

Wow. That's awful. Canada has become The Handmaid's Tale -- I would completely understand if Canadian defectors started flooding the northern border of the US in droves. Maybe they should before it is too late. Luc Montagnier, the Nobel Prize winning virologist who discovered HIV, says that every person who got the "vaccine" will die within two years. I think it's hyperbole, but it has been noted that no ferrets survived the animal trials of the original MRNA vaccine.

Down here, a popular roller coaster park called Great America (the irony!) is trying to trick children into getting vaccinated. I was meditating on what these people's karma is likely to be and though I could be wrong, if I am at all correct, let's just say it ain't gonna be pretty.

Thank you! We have video cameras all aroud the house so we know how she died. A large cat who is likely her father attacked and killed her last night. She has a little brother or sister who escaped the attack: a black kitten. I'm hoping to capture and domesticate the little survivor. Please pray for that little one as well as my indoor cat Kiki, who is not eating again.

Has anyone else noticed the intense biophobia brought out by the emergence of Brood X? People are so completely grossed out and complain nonstop about the sound! I'm a bit concerned for my small saplings, but otherwise I think it's pretty cool and love the sound of all the cicadas!

I've tried asking in all earnestness before but was met with complete and total venom:

They either lack the ability to discriminate or refuse to discriminate. They also cannot stand to see themselves in an unflattering light. Admitting fault and assuming responsibility is a problem for them.

Obesity is sometimes due to gluttony and/or sloth and they don't want to admit it. If they erase culpability, they can have their cake and eat it too. They can be fat and unhappy and never get out of dreamland long enough to attack the roots of their unhappiness: they can wallow in addictions of various sorts. Being able to change their sex gives them what they think is power. They might not be able to change their inherent gluttony and laziness, but thanks to the miracle of modern medicine, they can change genders. Progress in the form of Immaculate Surgery and Drugs conquers all. It's their way of triumphing over a God they claim not to believe in. They want to be the determiners of their own fates, but they don't want to make any ego-deflating analyses to assess where they are lacking in character.

Time Reveals Hidden Meanings

The old death metal bands had a very clear target for many of their lyrics: Christianity. A number of them were explicitly Satanists, and the rest simply had no issues invoking Satanic imagery. However, whether the bands at the time understood it or not, many of them were not writing antichristian music as they believed. They were writing songs of mockery against tyrants. Against those of the mind and of society.

The 80s "moral majority" has no power or credibility anymore, and has not been relevant for at least 15 years if not longer. Yet several of these songs which were aimed directly at that moral majority still have a hidden vitality and a secret target that remains true and relevant even in 2021. It's less true for ones explicitly invoking specific religions, but a fair number of them were written in ways that have all new interpretations today.

A few examples : "God of Emptiness" by Morbid Angel


Lies - and you fill their souls
With all oppressions of this world
And all the glory you receive
So, what makes you supreme?

That verse is labeled in the song as "The accuser" and is clearly Satan speaking to God, yet these very specific words in 2021 have a new meaning than the ones they had in the early 90s yet are entirely as true as ever. Which would-be diety speaks lies and commits nothing but oppressions onto its followers and opponents, and demands tribute and praise from them?


So let the children come to me
Their mother loves me, so shall they
Woman, bleeding, ate my gifts
Man was close behind
Just like a snake, I'm slithering
Through my world divine
And like the cat I'm stalking
I'll take your soul
And you'll be like me
In emptiness


And this verse labeled "The Tempter" which is an incredibly ambiguous verse which leads the listener to wonder if this is Satan speaking, or if it is God, or if the distinction even matters. However, put forward into the modern context, who is making a strong and direct push for the minds and hearts of the children, and for the women, counting on the men to fall in line socially? Who is offering via critical gender theroy and critical race theory a poison fruit from a tree of knowledge of good and evil?

The God of Emptiness lives on, and has merely changed its name and its shape, and beckons to the children of a new generation and to their mothers. Its robes are a new color, its mask a new shape, but its iron fist remains. Its verses and scriptures as easy to turn into a sword against heresies as any other. Its judgements black and white, and without mercy.


Another example : "Lack of Comprehension" by Death

An excuse to cover
Up weaknesses that lie within

Guilt and pain

That creates it's destruction

According to the band the song was written in response to publicized cases of young suicides. It was discovered that the teens who killed themselves listened to metal, and this song was about the fact that there are far more personal and pressing problems in people's lives that drive them to suicide, and that the families involved who were trying to blame the music they listened to really should look in the mirror for their own roles in the deaths.

Yet in 2021, these verses take on a wholly new meaning. Who today are the people who spend massive amounts of time speaking lies and blaming ordinary, everyday people who have nothing to do with "injustice" and "inequity" on all the problems in the world when those people have their own struggles to deal with? Where is the mirror for the people who cry the loudest about this when they hold themselves and their own communities back by their own actions and inactions? They strike you down with a condemning fear of their own reflections if you try to show them.


Or "The Philosopher" by Death


So you preach about how I'm supposed to be,
yet you don't you know your own Sexuality

Lies feed your judgement of others
Behold how the blind lead each other

The philosopher!
You know so much about nothing at all!


I don't think I even need to explain how this one works in today's world.


Or if you take a hop across the ocean to Norway in the Black Metal world you have this one that was very clearly about the Christianization of ancient Norway (especially when you watch the video), yet merely 30 years later is a cry of anguish at growing Islamization

These songs are all at least 25 years old, if not older. The politics of today were barely a whisper, and nobody was thinking of medical authoritarianism or the threats of neo marxists or islamists. Yet all of these songs, which were not about any of these things specifically were about an underlying threat that merely changes its name and its disguise ever so often.

Thank you for this! I'm only passingly familiar with most forms of metal music. Yours is a fascinating take on the music and its themes. The leitmotif of the dying Equinox is the idea of oneness on the global scale. Because we are no longer in the Age of Pisces, oneness simply isn't appropriate; it has become the square peg trying to cram itself into a round hole. The passing of the Age of Pisces doesn't seem to stop the insane, intense hunger for oneness. The god of Christianity is currently dying an extremely ugly death, and so are the other solo "You must worship only me" gods. One of the Christian god's death throes is Communism, which John Michael Greer has explained as The Second Coming of Christ with the serial numbers scratched off. I would argue that Wokesterism and its bedfellow, COVID paranoia, are the death throes of Allah. This would serve to explain the Left's affinity for Islam, its misanthropy, its ginned-up culture of fear and shame, and the compulsory facial coverings.

Hello Kimberly,

I’ve been reading your blog for awhile as well as your comments on JMG’s blog but have yet to comment on your blog.

I was curious your thoughts on how major weight loss can impact energy, both of the one losing the weight and those around them. I’ve been on a fitness journey this year and have lost just shy of 60 pounds with about 40 left until I hit my goal weight. I’ve been eating 2000 calories of nourishing food every day, swimming 6000 meters per week, and training with a personal trainer for weightlifting 3x per week. In addition, I’ve changed my hobbies in many ways to promote more movement to help make a long term lifestyle change and made deliberate lifestyle changes to address the issues that caused me to gain weight. People pleasing behavior that would deprive me of time to prepare proper food while busy with homeschooling my daughter and shuttling her around to her various activities was one of the biggest mistakes in my weight and fitness and health. I ate too many easy food items while trying to get everybody to like me. That realization was profound and dramatic and no doubt instrumental in helping me embark on this health journey.

As I’ve lost the weight and built muscle, there has been a shakeup of sorts in the rest of my life. Virtually every area of my life has experience a weird conflict that had to be solved. Some doors closed, others opened, and everything has turned out better than before despite all of these stressful and challenge growth experiences. My life has changed as dramatically as my body has during these past six months.

I’ve never experienced such a momentous forced moving around me and am trying to make sense of the situation. Do you happen to have any opinions or insight into how such physical changes can impact everything and everyone Around somebody so dramatically? Thank you.

First, congratulations on losing that much weight. That's no easy feat. It sounds like you've gotten much of the usefulness of your body back.

I'm certainly no expert, but as you might know I have my weird theories that excessive weight is often (not always) about etheric starvation. The etheric body is the same one treated by Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Because we live in ugly, polluted environments, often do not get enough sun or exercise, and eat low quality food like what you mention you were eating before your weight loss, etheric starvation takes hold. One can be quite obese and still be starving to death on the etheric plane. When I was suffering etheric starvation in college, I was thin. Nevertheless, I had all the symptoms of etheric starvation: insomnia, restlessness, irritability, spaceyness, addictive behaviors.

From what you describe, I think taking control of your body was karmic in your case. You had to develop and exercise massive willpower in order to get to where you are. Most people cannot manage it. You rose to the challenge. Do you know anything about your past lives? I bet your tremendous act of will in this lifetime is resolving karma from a past life.

Food that is made with skill and love is more etherically potent and therefore more nourishing than its carelessly made (or factory made) equivalent. Have you been cooking and preparing your own meals as part of your weight loss routine? That could be making a difference. I think at least in your case that losing the weight and being as disciplined as you are has been a magical act. You changed your own consciousness in accordance with your will. You stood up for yourself and said "this is the way it is going to be for me". Maybe to some that is off-putting but I am of the opinion that it's very cool.
