That seems to be a very common condition these days! I think it has to do with etheric depletion. You get so used to etheric starvation that you give up on the situation ever being corrected, yet because it is starvation, there is a survival instinct that can lash out nastily if you're not exceedingly careful. It's also very common to become desperate -- there is a "sinking ship" mentality that drives one to become clingy and to latch on to those they perceive as life rafts, which of course has the opposite effect of what was intended. The person being clung to runs away.

I'm probably going to have to do an essay on etheric starvation and how to remedy it. Herbs are certainly one way -- they are etherically rich and made more potent by drying them.
