Ogham Readings on Saturdays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills.  Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones (all of them are basically combos of 4 cards):

 

-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading

-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

 
I am happy to do Ogham readings confidentially via email -- just email me at k steele studio at gmail during the allotted time/before deadline.  I cannot answer health questions.  If you have a question about health or another sensitive, private matter, provide a bunch of non-identifying information and the Ogham will be able to figure it out even if I don't. I'm serious... the Ogham actually tend to "know" things without me being privy to what is going on.

Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break. 

My next planned break is from October 23 - November 6.

I take reading requests from whenever this post goes up on Friday night until 8pm US Central Time Saturday.

I read JMG’s Dreamwidth for last Thursday and the info gave me anxiety and restlessness in spite of how much preparation I’ve been doing over the past ten years plus.

My fallback is to continue to “chop wood, carry water” since that is what’s in front of me and all that I can control is myself and my actions.

Can I have a three card reading for this week, focused on what is the priority for this crazy time?

How last week went & new reading

Hello, Kimberly! Patrick here. Much of my week was spent babysitting my puppy after he got hit by a truck and earned himself a fractured leg. That had happened last Friday, and now he has to heal while avoiding damaging the bone further. Since he still tries to run and jump when he gets excited, I have to keep an eye on him or shut him in the bathroom.

I think that explains last week's Situation (Ngetal ill-dignified) and Outcome (Tinne well-dignified) cards. An ill-dignified defense would have been leaving him to his own devices or shutting him in a crate.

The Duir well-dignified card apparently referred to a blog post I came across that gave me insight into where I probably am in the cycle of incarnation. Thank you for getting me to pay attention!

What do the cards tell me I should know for this week?

Sorry this is so long; it's a mix of feedback with the questions at the end, hope it makes sense.

We're in two groups the Ogham suggested would be good.

Feedback: The one that has always gotten positives from the Ogham (umbrella group (Muin well-dig) and both subgroups and we recently switched from one (Oir well-dig) to the other (Ur well-dig)) is going well and smoothly so far. I have been nervous and probably would have given up a while ago if it weren't for you and your Ogham, so: Thank you!

This question is about the other one.

The Ogham suggested we join in a certain way (Oir well-dig and when I asked more specifically, Duir well-dig), we did and the "new and interesting stuff to do" aspect is going great, but the social opportunities are lacking.

So now, the big group is trying to recruit one of us to be a leader for a new subgroup. They held a get-together for potential subgroup members which would've had the kids in one room and the adults in another and that's the one the Ogham said might be dangerous, even physically (Tinne ill-dig; we didn't go).

One possibility is that all this small-group stuff should just wait till daughter advances to the next level in the org (in a year or two).

Another possibility is that now is the time to join because now is when this little group is getting started, and trying to join the small group later on would be weird / harder.

I guess another is kind of in between: Just wait until we all feel ready, whether that's next week or next year or even later.

What do the Ogham think? (Not sure how to structure this question, whatever you think is best.)

Hi Kimberly,

a) I am about to leave Canada to move into the US. I am a dual citizen, and am considering, once I settle down, renouncing the Canadian citizenship. How do your ogham feel about that?

b) I recently found a way to free a lot more time for my writing, and so I now have a couple books at various stages of writing. I'm looking at publishers, and also at when to submit the manuscripts. Do your ogham like my idea for how to choose the date for submitting these manuscripts?
