Ogham Readings on Saturdays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills.  Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones (all of them are basically combos of 4 cards):

 

-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading

-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

 
I am happy to do Ogham readings confidentially via email -- just email me at k steele studio at gmail during the allotted time/before deadline.  I cannot answer health questions.  If you have a question about health or another sensitive, private matter, provide a bunch of non-identifying information and the Ogham will be able to figure it out even if I don't. I'm serious... the Ogham actually tend to "know" things without me being privy to what is going on.

Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break. 

My next planned break is from October 23 - November 6.

I take reading requests from whenever this post goes up on Friday night until 8pm US Central Time Saturday.

I read JMG’s Dreamwidth for last Thursday and the info gave me anxiety and restlessness in spite of how much preparation I’ve been doing over the past ten years plus.

My fallback is to continue to “chop wood, carry water” since that is what’s in front of me and all that I can control is myself and my actions.

Can I have a three card reading for this week, focused on what is the priority for this crazy time?

Hi Annette,

Interesting.

You drew three cards this week.

For the You position, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene well-dignified. My Ogham think you've done enough spiritual work (and continue to do so) and that you will be fine no matter what happens, because you know your boundaries and your limits better than most.

For the Situation, they give Ur or Intimacy well-dignified. You have strong, close relationships and you also know yourself well, and that makes you resilient and able to handle economic craziness if it goes down.

For the Outcome, you drew Saille or Sensitivity ill-dignified. You probably already knew the Ogham were going to say that worrying about this is not worth your time. Even during the height of the Black Death and its aftermath, some pockets of Europe were serenely unaffected and prosperous. Worrying makes you oversensitive and dulled at the same time, so every time you are tempted to worry, consciously try to supplant the worry with gratitude.

Thank you! It's a trick I employ quite regularly - if I start catastrophizing, let's say worrying about the likely scenario that I will have to sell the house I grew up in because I won't be able to afford to live in that neighborhood, I express to the Divine how grateful I am to have grown up there with a childhood free of abuse and with necessary (and a bit excess) wealth. I may have to sell the place because of my economic position, but at least I have those wonderful memories and the multiple legacies of wonderful, loving, generous parents, including my music education and work ethic.
