I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills.  Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones (all of them are basically combos of 4 cards):

 

-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading

-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

 
I am happy to do Ogham readings confidentially via email -- just email me at k steele studio at gmail during the allotted time/before deadline.  I cannot answer health questions.  If you have a question about health or another sensitive, private matter, provide a bunch of non-identifying information and the Ogham will be able to figure it out even if I don't. I'm serious... the Ogham actually tend to "know" things without me being privy to what is going on.

Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break.

For the You card, you drew Ioho or Grace. "No rest for the wicked" is the saying that comes to mind, and it is as true for the wicked as well as anyone else. You may have to force yourself to rest: cancelling appointments that are not life or death, skipping get togethers or work, and just generally enforcing some mindless, silly chill out time. This is also a card that shows up when you need to let go of something that is not meant to be, past its prime, or not meant for you in the current moment.

For the Situation, you drew Luis or Protection ill-dignified. This is one of the danger cards in my Ogham, so take extra precautions and be especially risk adverse in everything. Other than that, it can talk about trouble invoking and connecting with the higher self. You'll have to strive to listen to your conscience, which can and will fight with what your gut says. Often we have more animalistic, survival-related urges that do battle with what the higher self wants for us. Ask yourself, "Which path is the high road?"

For the Outcome, you drew Phagos or Teaching well-dignified. This week offers a chance to shine where your ultimate purpose for incarnation is concerned. Everybody has got at least one special purpose, to paraphrase The Jerk. In all seriousness, figuring out what this special element is this week can go a long way towards advancing your own spiritual progression.

For the You position, you drew Fearn or Bridge ill-dignified. It is tempting to throw out the baby with the bathwater this week and not recognize the progress you've made and what you have learned from your hardships. Fearn is a card of working with what you have instead of blowing the thing all sky high and starting over. Make the best out of what you have got, at least for this week.

For the Situation, you drew Nuin or Communication ill-dignified. Communication doesn't just happen between people: it is between us and our homes, the spiritual ecosystem, and the spirits of the land. If we are lucky, it happens between us and the Divine. At any rate, getting past the ego (that guy who likes to act like a bull in a china shop) is necessary for any and all good communication, and of course you aren't the only one with an ego! Be prepared to get fairly tricky slicky with anticipating what others will say and know when to keep your mouth shut. Also, be prepared for tech to act up or transportation to be stymied by "life happens" sort of crap.

For the Outcome, you drew Ruis or Regret well-dignified. Having been around the block once or twice can be useful and advantageous this week. Ruis is a card of not getting too excited whether it is good or bad news: use your past experience to take what comes with many grains of salt whether positive or negative.

The Ogham say don't tell her. They provide Onn or Community ill-dignified. This refers to your own ignorance of her spiritual ecosystem and perhaps ignorance of your own. It's not your place to tell her. If the truth comes out in the wash and she's like "Why didn't you tell me?" let her know that you had a divination (a consultation that is purposefully made to invoke gods and get their advice) and the gods apparently said NO.

I'll never forget the reading you did for me during Covid which became a great encouragement.

It appears to me that the way life works is that when you pass a test... you get assigned harder ones.

Lately, I have been feeling heavily on my heart that during these years of upcoming turmoil, it may be my task to play some role for the welfare of my people, which I consider to be a tremendous responsibility.

I am seeking guidance on questions like:

1) is it my imagination (or pride, etc) or am I being called to some role
2) what kind of role is it

My Ogham say Yes, you are being called to a particular role and it is not your imagination. They give you Tinne or Defense well-dignified. You are being called in as a kind of warrior. You are the strength and positivity that must be built against evil, but the lesson here is not to become reactionary because you will spin your wheels. Consider the kung fu monks who train incessantly on the mountain under their master. They do not go out looking for fights, but if the fight is stupid enough to come to them, they unleash the whoop-ass. So keep training and stay diligent. Hopefully the fight will never arrive at your door, but if it does, you will be ready.

For the rest of the reading, I asked "What is B's current path?" and gave you three cards symbolizing You, the Outside World/Other People, and the Outcome.

For the You position, you drew Mor or Sea Change ill-dignified. This shift is very hard on you and you do not feel ready. That is why you have been doubting it -- it is scary as hell and part of you wishes it wasn't here. You can make the best out of it by calming down your own resistance to change and doing your best to ignore or brush aside the negatives of the way you feel about the change.

For the Outside Influences, you drew Duir or Gifts well-dignified. Your own spirit guides are arming you and perhaps for the first time in your life, it is time for your true gifts to shine. Being caught in a materialist paradigm as we all are, many of us get confused and think of gifts sheerly in terms of finances, but financial "success" is often more of a curse that keeps us retarded when it tends to accessing our gifts. Think of it this way: the wealthy person who spends a good third of her big income on travel spends almost no time looking inward and doing the work of the spirit. Where would she find time between jetting here and there for various self-made reasons?

Good morning Kimberly,

To review: Eadha, my wonderful companion this month is collaborating this week with Straif in two areas. On one hand, I'm waiting to see the outcome of the farm's tax season, to use some accumulated funds to either promptly pay down debts, or to pay any taxes owed. On another hand, my cold sore reappeared, your recommendation of zinc has helped quite a bit, popping up on Monday, and scabbing over by Thursday. Onn is in the great accountant who is helping me navigate the tax environment, the clinician who also took a look at the cold sore and elsewhere (the timing was rather sussy given the circumstances), your own zinc advice; on my part I unexpectedly helped train some new guys.

To ask: What is it that I need to know this week, according to the Ogham?

You drew three cards. All are well-dignified. As much as this may seem like all is coming up roses, keep in mind that an all well-dig reading can have just as much adversity as an all ill-dig one, it just shows a propensity to triumph over those adversities. I have had many crushing sinus headaches during all well-dig readings; it's almost like when I get one, I think "damn I bet my sinuses will be inflamed today".

Eadha or Limits shows up yet again. Well-dignified, it indicates when life forces or people try to push you out of equilibrium, you right yourself again, much like you did with your cold sore and the zinc supplements. It's always a good idea to look at your past successes working WITH nature instead of AGAINST it. Knowledge truly is power.

For the Situation, you drew Tinne or Defense. This is a danger card no matter what the dignity, so guard your health well and stay particularly risk-adverse. Other than that, it talks about knowing what true vulnerability is and how to avoid it. The biggest source of strength comes from within -- when fear is put in its place.

For the Outcome, you drew Coll or Wisdom. There will likely be a temptation to open your mouth and say what you should not say: be ready to keep your yap shut. This card also talks about the slow, laborious process of learning mental plane concepts. A sudden feeling of emotional/spiritual turmoil

Thank you as always for this opportunity to get a reading from your Ogham.

I would like some insight on a situation that seems to have come out of nowhere since earlier this week. I was hit by a sudden feeling of emotional turbulence accompanied by a few nights of distribed dreams and a feeling of spiritual presence in my room at night.

Could you please ask your Ogham what the cause of these feelings and night disturbances might be? There are a few possibilities I've considered - being contacted by an estranged and recently deceased family member, some sort of attack (unconscious or conscious) by an angry ex partner, or just regular exhaustion. But of course it could be something else entirely.

Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Well, this is interesting. My Ogham say it's none of the above and they give a hint about who is doing this.

Your dead relative is not contacting you -- they are busy with their afterlife business and that business does not seem to concern you at this time. The Ogham give Quert or Celebration ill-dignified, indicating this person had issues with addiction and/or was somewhat of a miser or scold, and that karma is packing a wallop for them right now.

For the angry ex-partner, it's a Nope. The angry ex-partner is also embroiled in their own mess and neither subconsciously nor consciously throwing anything your way. The Ogham give Koad or Confluence ill-dignified, which indicates that the ex-partner is at least beginning to take responsibility for their own mea culpas in some sense.

For the "regular exhaustion", they say No, this is not regular and it is not caused by exhaustion. The Ogham give Fearn or Bridge ill-dignified. To chalk this up to exhaustion would be a mistake. Everyone incarnated on this planet has a bit of exhaustion because of the rapid, sped up nature of human incarnation as well as endemic etheric starvation. This is something more.

So I asked "What the hell is it?" And the Ogham say Nuin or Communication well-dignified. You have an entity that has attached itself to you that has come to you based on sheer, nasty coincidence. It is parasitic. I have had these sorts of things happen, unfortunately. They are the spiritual equivalent to having a bad flu or a case of the worms. To get rid of it, take regular hoodoo baths as often as you can stand them. If you do a banishing ritual everyday like the Sphere of Protection, that will help a great deal. If you have a relationship with a god via prayer, that will also help immensely. This wants to show itself in the form of detachment from the natural world and electronic/tech addiction, so fight those by going outside, talking to trees, and limiting online time. Placing bowls of vinegar in your bedroom will interfere with the entity's ability to manifest on the etheric. Also put up one or more bedside geometrics to subvert and confuse the parasite's efforts on the astral plane.

Greetings Kimberly! Thank you once again for the readings you do.

1. This coming week and the past week feels strongly like I should be making big changes in my life, or changes will happen regardless. What should I know to make the best of this time period - is there something I need to achieve before this coming week ends? A two-card reading will do.

2. I’ve asked before about my spiritual path on here. It’s been tumultuous - some big peaks and valleys - since it started. I’m currently in a valley and recently made a choice that guarantees less joy going forward in life, for upholding a value I should keep and for whatever else I might gain (which is not all I may desire). I guess I want to ask - what is the current status of my relationship to the Divine in general, including my Guardian Angel? My belief is that I can always trust on unconditional love from my Angel, regardless of how much I may falter spiritually. You are correct - it’s been a rough August, and a July too at that.

Ouch, sounds like a rough patch.

My Ogham say that you are right, you need to be making a major change starting this week. They give Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified and Gort or Perseverance well-dignified. These cards talk about the kind of attitude to take in order to grow and cultivate grace in this time of change. Uilleand talks about a Christ-like attitude: you have to think VERY big, and this means bigger than mortal existence. Christ was so generous, he gave his very life, which means he wasn't at all afraid of torture and death. He always knew the end game and he never faltered in his faith that he would be with his Dad no matter what. As far as Gort, it means that as long as you keep your nose to the grindstone, your flower will bloom, though not always in the ways you expect.

For your HGA, they say it's hard right now. They give Mor or Sea Change ill-dignified, which means your HGA has been working overtime to help you but the connection has been faint. Normal Meatworld conditions are very bad for connecting with our higher selves. I had hoped that the recent clearing of the air with the failed Trump assassination would last but it has not -- it is as murky as ever on the collective astral. Like the Ogham say, keep your nose to the grindstone and don't give up. The weather will get better... eventually.

My Ogham think you are correct as far as P and A being your main choices. They give Tinne or Defense well-dignified, but of course there are always other choices. They just aren't the best choices. P and A may not look all that great but they are the best ones by far according to the Ogham.

My question for the oracle today is alone the lines of I have been trying to contact L my old long distance girlfriend but I have not gotten a reply. Is the reason for this she has not received the messages and I should continue trying or has she not answered because she dose not want to answer and I should let things go. Hi Will,

It seems she has gotten the messages. I asked the Ogham if you should continue trying and they provided Quert or Delight ill-dignified. I would guess that this means she does not cherish the good times you had together as much as you cherish them and/or that it was not the best of matches when it came down to the nitty gritty and that's why it was a long distance relationship and not a short distance relationship.

As far as her wanting to let things go, they give Onn or Community well-dignified. This means that she prefers to keep things light and pleasant if you ever do run into her again. My husband calls it keeping things "light and lively".

In It for the Bennies?

I have a neighbor, let's call her "S". Over the years, we've had what I'd consider a quasi-friendship. She has a vision problem, so I've increasingly taken her ostensibly for "coffee" but that tends to get erased with "Oh, could we just stop at Walmart real quick?" (It's NEVER quick. And the "stops" have proliferated this past year. Over a month ago, she broke her arm and I took her to the ER, and then stopped by her home twice a day for over three weeks to help her dress. What started as a "happy to see you, thanks so much, have a cup of coffee" turned into a less than warm welcome and a long honey do list by about week three. At the beginning of week four I told her she needed to go to Plan B within a few days, because I was done.

I now believe my goodwill toward S was misplaced. In fact, at this point I'm unwilling to do anything at all for her. No more free rides and "Could you just help me with this..." requests filled. She's dropped out of sight for the time being. Which is fine with me.

What do your Ogham have to say about this situation, and my assessment of it?

My Ogham say you are unfortunately correct in all of your assessments of S, including your decision to withdraw from the situation entirely.

For the You position, they give Phagos or Teaching well-dignified. S is an emotional vampire. This sort of person is famously spoofed in the TV series What We Do in the Shadows. The character Evie (E.V. or Emotional Vampire) gathers the energy she needs as a parasite by walking up to people and trying to ensnare them in her emotional drama/sob stories. As the Evie character name implies, this person is a vampire. Get away from her and don't look back.

For the Situation, they give Fearn or Bridge well-dignified. Though this experience may have soured you on part of humanity, it has helped you to learn a thing or two about the world and the people in it. Now you know what signs to watch out for.

For the Outcome, you drew Oir or Epiphany well-dignified. Your goodwill was indeed misplaced. The only way for an emotional vampire to grow is often for them to reach the end of their natural life alone and abandoned. I had an Evie in my life from about ages 16-24, so approximately the 90s - early 2000 era. She lived for clubbing, refused to hold down a job, and permanently alienated her family because of her dependence and mooching. She called me about 10 years ago. By reading between the lines, I could tell she was homeless. I looked her up on the internet recently and she died suspiciously close to the vaccine rollout in 2021.

I do not believe the 'internal reason' to be directly related to the subject matter, but rather to a current issue with the regulatory body governing my profession: they are currently in active pursuit of a muscle-flexing project of the sort that can only lead to jackboots and swastikas, so I am currently in active pursuit of an alternate source of income. I was considering tutoring as a possible option, but now I know to look elsewhere.

I wanted to ask about my spiritual path. After several difficult years, things got even worse during Covid. It was then that I starting doing planetary charity and praying to Apollo - which is something I still do, because I feel that I got through everything mainly with his help (and also Mercury, Sun, Jupiter planetary charity!)

I feel drawn to the Olympians and want to start taking this more seriously, but I feel I don't know where or how to start...or even if it's true what I feel and this is the best for me or if everything is all in my head. I'm still saying my prayers to Apollo every Sunday always thank you for all the help I received when I needed the most. I also ask for blessings for your readings btw! Strangely, I feel it's a must and I have rarely missed it btw...

So I'd like to know what the Ogham say about all this, for example (some questions as a random guide, but maybe you'll come up with better questions!)

1. Is Apollo still willing to hear my prayers? Do I have a connection or I'm just imagining it?
2. What is my relationship with the Divine? What can I do to do better?
3. I also feel drawn to Hermes and Aphrodite...but not sure Aphrodite listens much...have I got this last bit wrong?
4. Anything else that you can think of or that the Ogham would like to say

Though I have a relationship with Apollo myself, I cannot answer for a god and neither can the Ogham as to a Yes/No pertaining to his willingness to hear your prayers. I can ask him what you need to work on though, so that is what I did.

1. What would Apollo have me work on within myself?

The Ogham provide Huath or Obstacles well-dignified. The study of Dion Fortune's concept of why we do not oppose negative evil from The Cosmic Doctrine is useful here. Every time you encounter "evil" or that which is opposed to you or upsets you, you cannot control the existence of it but you can control how you react. For instance, I use my horror of certain body modifications such as ear gauges, eye tattoos, and tongue piercings as motivation to age gracefully and to present myself in a harmonious, balanced way. Instead of getting upset that some douchetwat has the spendable cash to mutilate himself and scare children, I use his idiocy as motivation NOT to be like him at all. Or let's take a person I know who is parsimonious and stingy. Instead of complaining and trying to change him, I ignore him and when I am in similar situations, I act how he would not act: with generosity and magnanimity.

2. For your relationship to the Divine at the moment, the Ogham give you Muin or Harvest ill-dignified. You have some growing up to do and more tests to undergo. You still have many of the expectations of someone born in our extremely materialist civilization would have -- therefore you don't see the signs and the synchronicities that you will see when you become more sensitive. Keep in mind there are always a thousand spirits who masquerade as better than they are: its like people who imitate celebrities. Never take what a random spirit says at face value.

3. You need to talk to Ares/Mars in order to reach Aphrodite. The Ogham give you Tinne or Defense well-dignified, which is one of his calling cards in my Ogham. Ares does not exist without Aphrodite. He protects her. She does not exist without him because otherwise he would have nobody to protect. In order to work with Ares, prepare to face some of the worst things you've ever done in your life in discursive meditation. If you can take ownership of those things and deal with them like an honest broker, he will provide the tests in your everyday life, which are pretty much guaranteed to suck. If you pass the tests, you'll likely be able to work with both Ares and Aphrodite.

4. The Ogham give you Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified, which is saying they think you need to learn the lessons of generosity. Generosity sublimates to the power of seven, so the more you do it, the more of it multiplies in your own life. The most generous humans ever to exist such as Buddha or Jesus end up sublimating themselves into divinity. They gave everything away only to receive treasures far greater than money.

For the You position, you drew Muin or Harvest well-dignified. You understand the amount of patience needed to bring what you want to fruition. Keep in mind the payoff received could be material but it also could be emotional or spiritual. For instance, take a parent who has raised a good kid and who has a nice visit or outing with that now-adult child: that would be an example of a good harvest.

For the Situation, you drew Ur or Intimacy ill-dignified. This may be a direct reference to trouble with someone close to you, the propensity to be annoying, or it could be a simple warning to keep quiet at the right time and in the right place. There are some secrets that never, ever need to be uttered. Tailor your personality to the one you are with. Impress with your subtlety and grace and not with your need to be heard.

You drew three cards this week. All were well-dignified. I will utter my usual diatribe about all well-dig readings not necessarily meaning a bed of roses or a walk through the park -- the only plus is that you are likely to overcome imbalances as they pop up.

You drew Huath or Obstacles for the You position. Huath is a danger card in my Ogham, so be aware. I advise to be especially risk-adverse this week. Other than that, this speaks of a challenging week where you should try to use opposing forces ("evil") as a thrust block in order to motivate yourself to be better. Watch out for imbalances of force. If you are usually too bold, know when to tone it down. If you are timid, be ready to speak up.

For the Situation, you drew Eadha or Limits. This week offers a glimpse of who you are and where you are in your spiritual journey. What is the biggest limit in your everyday life, or at least the biggest perceived limit? How have you successfully worked within that limit? When have you been burned because you did not work within it? This week could bring a test of limits, so know your threshold ahead of time or try to make an educated guess.

For the Outcome, you drew Ailm or Transcendence. There may be trolls, but you handle them with grace and you don't let them drag you to your level. I will utter my usual caveat that an all ill-dignified reading is not an omen of a bad week just as an all well-dignified reading is not an omen of a great week. The Ogham are giving you a warning that no matter how good your circumstances are, it may be easy to tip into imbalance.

For the You position, you drew Onn or Community. Putting too much emotional investment in semi-strangers and casual friends is bad for them and you. You truly do need to think for yourself, do for yourself, and be happy in your own skin, and that takes a great deal of inner work.

For the Situation, you drew Muin or Harvest. You cannot employ the same strategies you have always employed and expect different results, i.e. "miracles". There is a nearly infinite sea of predators who will tell you differently and that you can get all the goodies -- happiness, love, fulfillment -- without doing the work. They are lying.


For the Outcome, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene. This is a card of lousy health and points to gentle physical activity, good food, sunlight, and bathing as remedies. The Ogham often give me this card when I have bad etheric starvation. The best remedy I have found is exposing the spleen area to a sunbeam. I feel better within ten seconds. Another good remedy is a home-cooked meal.

The Ogham give you three cards.

For the You position, they provide Fearn or Bridge well-dignified. You are going places, and Fearn points to a new source of knowledge that will alter your life for the better. It also points to you inspiring others and gaining the karma that comes naturally of being helpful and benevolent.

For the Situation, you drew Koad or Confluence ill-dignified. You've not always planned or chosen well and a bit of this is coming back to bite you. Part of it is simple bad luck, so don't beat yourself up for what you did not cause and cannot help. Look at your own part and remedy it to the best of your ability, but don't waste any time worrying overtime about it. It is what it is.

For the Outcome, you drew Quert or Delight well-dignified. This is one of Aphrodite's cards in my Ogham and you enjoy some Aphrodite blessings such as good food, good friends, and an adequate living. Take the time to enjoy some frivolous perks. Your gratitude is what matters, because little pleasures are made sublime if you are grateful for them.

I have two affirmations I have been using for the past year. Call them H and C. Should I keep using them?

Hmm, my Ogham think H can be phased out. They give you Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified, which means there is no harm in keeping it either, but you can let it go because it's deep in your brain now and does not need to be physically repeated. As far as C, they think you should keep up with it. They give Ruis or Regret well-dignified, meaning it helps you work on your weakest points and keeps you from regressing.

For the You position, you drew Mor or Sea ill-dignified. The bad news is that this is a week of crappy luck, general grumpiness, and the tendency for things to break or break down. The good news is it is not your fault and you did absolutely nothing to cause it: this is the astral weather. Lay low, ride it out, and postpone big conversations and decisions for another week.

For the Situation, you drew Oir or Epiphany ill-dignified. Perhaps a realization or a decision is being avoided. Though you shouldn't take any concrete actions unless you absolutely must because of the aforementioned Mor card, you may need to face certain realities and look at them in a cold, unflinching light.

For the Outcome, you drew Huath or Obstacles well-dignified. As I always say, Huath is one of my Ogham's danger cards, so stay risk adverse this week and don't let the troublemakers get in too much trouble: keep them on a tight leash. Other than that, this can talk about a lack of decisive energy and the inertia of wanting to sit it out and relax when relaxation is not the best approach. The other side of imbalance is wanting to act too forcefully and rashly: bull in a china shop syndrome. The Ogham advise you to look for the middle ground and insist on occupying it.
