Hi Everyone,
I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.
Please note I will be taking off the weeks of December 24, 2023 and December 31, 2023. Readings will resume as usual January 7, 2024.

That reading was very accurate: I got a lot of help from friends, family and elsewhere this year that showed ultimately how much blessings I have in life. But it was also a rough year, made so by own mistakes, and I end it in a state far less joyful than last year. I need to work on being more grateful for what I have and not focus what could have been. And I need new sources of joy in life too: the old joys don’t do so much for me now.
To ask: What do I need to know to make the best of next year?

The landlady of the apartment that I asked about last week seems a little uptight: somehow she thought I was being sarcastic on an email I sent her. My social graces are not the best, but I can't see how I was being sarcastic. Apparently I wasn't that bad because she's still willing to send me an application... for which I am now waiting on.
It's a nice apartment, in the center of town with a nice view of the town, but if my would-be landlady is cra-cra, I'd rather pass.
Any insight on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

Date: 2023-12-17 05:24 pm (UTC)To review: Muin was a relief of sorts, as I got ill and obliged me to take off two days this week. Phagos is Phagos, and I managed to browbeat the illtalking coworker when it came to my training charge, the equipment was failing despite my charge's best efforts. On the other hand faulty equipment continues to be a problem, not solvable by false platitudes. Letting go by Ioho, there was the aforementioned two days I would have invested in overtime, as well as a firewatch opportunity in the last week of the year.
To ask: What is it that I need to know this week, according to the Ogham?

This seems fairly straightforward: your health will likely not be good in the next year unless you make some major lifestyle changes. We live in an era of endemic etheric starvation. Prioritizing whole foods and clean eating, enough time in the outdoors to absorb adequate sunlight, daily exercise, high quality supplements, and decent sleep can go a long way, but the maintenance of routine is the key and it's easier said than done.
For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts well-dignified. You have understood a great deal about appreciating and bringing blessings this past year, say the Ogham, and this trend will continue in 2024. The Ogham suggest that you discover joy in what is shared. Anything you can share or give will uplift your life, though the joy in giving is deliberately cultivated for most, much like growing a garden.
For the Outcome, you drew Ur or Intimacy well-dignified. This card shows that learning what to keep well to yourself and what to make known will become a leitmotif of this year, and that you are likely to achieve some mastery where this is concerned. Personally, I find joy in curating my persona to most adequately serve whomever I am interacting with. I am a different person on my own than I am with various people. There is a "Family Kimberly" and a "Work Kimberly" as well as a "Wife Kimberly". Most of this skill is the result of thoughts as to what serves and benefits both me and the party I interact with.

If she's this weird with someone she is trying to enchant into giving her big bucks every month, we can only imagine how many vendors, utility people, and other service professionals she has pissed off. My Ogham recommend giving it a pass and maybe keeping an eye out on the place just in case she leaves her position or gets bought out.

You will come to understand something very important in January -- this may not be entirely pleasant, but at least you will know you are informed and without doubt. Feeling like a square peg in a round hole or feeling that the locals do not appreciate you (nor you them) is very tangible over this period of time. Because this is Situation, it could point to someone near you experiencing this either alone or along with you.

Straight up, January could pose danger to you and yours, so don't take risks, lay low when something seems off, and try to keep your schedule very relaxed and easy. I would say that week's outcome of Phagos ill-dignified was very accurate to this overall situation. Now I'm having to figure out how to respond. The Ogham have previously warned me about these people (I had a general question about them a while back).
My main question is: What's up for me and my family for the next 3 weeks?
If you're willing, a specific question about the above people: A, B, C, or none of the above?

I have gotten the ill-dignified Luis "danger" Ogham for my November, Thanksgiving, December, and now January readings. Usually in the "situation" spot, now in the outcome spot.
I am trying to be careful, not take any risks, etc., but I'm wondering if there is something else I can do. I'm going to try praying to my Holy Guardian Angel, to see if that helps with any more insight.
I just wish I knew what to do or how to prepare for dealing with this repeated reading.
Maybe I am just being paranoid, but sheesh - seeing that Protection ill-dignified come up over and over is getting me worried....

Date: 2023-12-17 10:35 pm (UTC)Abour a month ago I got your Ogham's death card. I thought that was interesting as one of my in-laws had died a few days before and the death was very much on my mind. A few days after your reading, I found out two people in my circle had been diagnosed with serious illnesses.
A few weeks ago your Ogham predicted I would be dealing with irritating people (the cause could possibly lie with me). That was very true. I felt oddly out of sync with people I usually get along with quite well.

For the Outcome, you drew Ur or Intimacy well-dignified. You will be tempted to say too much or to stick your foot in it -- forewarned is forearmed: if you don't feel comfortable, it is OK to stay quiet. Understanding your own limits, preferences, and tendencies and treating yourself well go very far in the coming time. Huath is literally a danger card in my Ogham even if well-dignified, and here it is in a bad dignity. It could mean that your hometown drains your energy in a way that zaps your willpower.
For 2. the Ogham provide Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified. Uilleand is not a bad card even when ill-dignified... at worst it could mean you are molly-coddled or spoiled where you are, or you are spoiling others, or both. Nevertheless, you should likely explore other divinations as well as potential third (and fourth and fifth) options.

For the You card, you drew Nuin or Communication. It's not easy to get your points across to other people -- this is on them as well as you. You will have to be finicky about who you communicate with and if you find yourself spinning your wheels, it is OK to retreat or reschedule. Computers and other machines may be sketchy; beware technology taking up too much of your time. Try to get outside into the actual sun. Travels of any kind are likely to be annoying and problematic: be prepared.
For the Situation, you drew Tinne or Defense. This is one of the danger cards of my Ogham, so be on your guard, don't take risks, and plan to lie low. We are all under constant astral attack these days, so if you have a banishing ritual, you might up it to 2x a day on extra crappy days. You also may want to wear an amulet. That said, the Ogham warn that too much defense creates weakness: one classic example is the suburban hover-parent who doesn't allow their kid to play outside and ends up with an adult hikkiko mori.
For the Outcome, you drew Gort or Perseverance. I often draw this one when my finances are running on fumes or I get hit with a surprise expense. You have to keep plugging away despite setbacks. The opposite side of a Gort imbalance is too much patience: if you are in a bad situation, better to be honest and admit it than to continue slogging as the hole can only get deeper that way.

You are gaining new ground where knowing the deep and important parts of yourself is concerned. That said, Luis can come as a test or tests: this year may bring the type of challenge that is designed to see what stuff you are made of. That kind of initiation is just as real as the old type that happens in a magical lodge. It is your Holy Guardian Angel proofing you.
For the Situation, you drew Oir or Epiphany well-dignified. More realization is on the table here, but it is most likely about other people or things that won't change according to your will. Epiphanies can be painful even when good but they are always necessary. This is a good time to think over epiphanies you've had in the past, how you reacted to them (well or not so well?) and what changes took place in your life because of them.
For the Outcome, you drew Beith or Intention ill-dignified. This year could bring some difficulty in doing what you want to do and/or what you were meant to do in this life. For instance, I am a musician and I find that my life often gets in the way of the music I want to write, produce, and practice. I simply have too much going on and need to pare it down. You may need to pare it down as well. Remember for something new to be born (Beith is also Birth) that something old must give way and die.

Generosity ill-dignified is a funny way to frame "here." It feels like golden handcuffs which is true, but also I sense that those are slipping away and honestly have been for a couple of years. Once they are gone, I don't know why I would stay in this woke-topia.

Date: 2023-12-18 04:27 am (UTC)Ay yi yi, they say it wasn't very effective. They provide Quert or Delight ill-dignified, which unfortunately indicates it wasn't strong enough. You might want to try a classic hoodoo cut & clear. Pick a Saturday during a waning moon, preferably when it is just a sliver. Take a small photo of him (it can be a computer printout on regular paper) and write his name crossed over itself eight times around it on the back. Burn a candle, preferably black but gray or white is also OK, during the planetary hour of Saturn. Burn the photo to ashes and jump or step over the still-burning candle, saying "I release you into the infinite, go with my blessing". Blow out the candle. If you do this indoors, do a Sphere of Protection or other banishing ritual in the space. If outdoors, thank the space and its spirits for helping you with your quest to set him off to his destiny without you. When you return to your home, take a different way than the way you got there and try to cross running water if possible. This helps confuse any sympathetic spirits on his end that may try to follow you around. Unfortunately I have had to do this spell myself. It works.
This week may be a doozy: all three cards were ill-dignified.
For the You position, you drew Straif or Resilience. When ill-dignified, this can often mean money is tight, energy is low, or both. It is a call to measure how flexible you are and how ready you are for change. You don't want to be overly ready for change: change does not always bring joy and the grass being greener could be a mirage. That said, dreading change is equally bad because it happens no matter what you do. The Ogham say to find that middle ground.
For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts. Duir is one of those cards that does not have a bad aspect. At it's very, very worst, it could indicate someone trying to make you feel guilty about your own privilege, and that sort of person needs to be taken with many measures of salt as they are usually projecting their own shadow. Usually, Duir in this dignity means an abundance of gifts and generosity flowing your way in excess or from you in excess. If it flows towards you, well, maybe just enjoy it! If it is coming from you, you can count on your sacrifice sublimating to the power of seven. The secret of gifts from a truly generous heart is they always multiply and return to the sender in various forms not at all limited to the material.
For the Outcome, you drew Oir or Epiphany. This is the star card of today's readings, and it seems many of us are in for revelations from spirit about "the way things are". Yes, this can be seen as unpleasant, but I have never run into an Oir reading that was unnecessary. This is an opportunity to rip some spiritual muscle and grow stronger.

For the You card, they provide Duir or Gifts well-dignified. You need to focus on the gifts your father has given to you more than ever, reminding him constantly of your gratitude. If you haven't been one to openly show gratitude, now is the time to start slipping it in. When my father died, it was funny how the moment his soul left his body, I was able to finally speak freely. He found out all sorts of things about me: I never shared my spiritual practices with him while he was alive, but the Guides informed him all about the work I had been doing the last few years. Yes, there was probably bad stuff too, but now is not the time for that. You need to help him build the good and remind him of everything he did right. He will take that with him no matter what happens to his Meatworld brain.
For the Situation, you drew Ruis or Regret well-dignified. The point of making mistakes in Meatworld is to be able to look at them honestly, say "I am not proud of that and that is why I don't do that anymore" and strongly walk down the new path. Anything else is just spinning your wheels. As for the sins of others, the more incarnations you live, the more you will have picked one of each from the buffet of sins, so there is no point in shaming anyone for what either was or will be your own mistake.
For the Outcome, you drew Phagos or Teaching ill-dignified. The so-called experts don't know a damn thing. If they make promises or claims, look very closely in the horse's mouth. Most of them just want to justify their obscene paychecks and feel like they are helping someone. The worst part of this will be not knowing what is happening to him. Again, try to contact him often and when his spirit begins to wander away from his Meatworld mind, learn to talk to it. I would get on that prayer list. Recognition could be one of the added bonuses for work well done or for talent. It is a good time for buying, selling, and coming up with crafty ways of earning or saving money. Tech acts as we would want it to and getting back and forth (travel) looks to be smooth sailing.
For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts well-dignified. This one shows lots of generosity coming from the heart and the sublimation of that energy. There is even the possibility of being able to share gifts, talents, and opportunities with others.
For the Outcome, you drew Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified. I often draw this card when my finances are tight, so despite the good fortune of the other two cards, keep your eye on your bank account and wallet. This could also be talking about an unproductive mode of thinking or a rut that you need to extract yourself from.
As for your choices of people. A and B are better than C. A gets Straif or Resilience, which is also known as Flexibility. A is willing to adapt to your needs and get to know your unique circumstances.
B got Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified. B is simply a good person, and that means he or she may be overqualified yet willing to give his or her service based on need and not income.

You have embraced and adapted to change very well, say the Ogham, meaning you have not discarded yourself in the rush to be current but you have also not been a stick in the mud. You have achieved the Goldilocks Zone of flexibility. This is a good opportunity to look at the snapshot of your life and understand where you could have gone wrong but didn't.
For the Situation, you drew Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. This one can be a straight up danger card in my Ogham, so don't take risks and be prepared to wear an amulet and lay low if need be on days that feel particularly ill-humored. Take a good look at your home's defenses: do you have lighting? If you are in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood as I am, cameras? That said, Tinne could be a nod to you being emotionally defensive; journaling can help with that.

You'll want to safeguard your health this week religiously: taking a high-quality multivitamin supplement, getting enough sun, eating clean, moving your body, and prioritizing sleep. Other than actual physical health, the Ogham may be advising you to pare down your schedule in favor of some self-care and to take a "not my circus, not my monkeys" to the junkyard of activities others would like to drag you into doing.
For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts well-dignified. This will be a generous week where you will give and receive, but true gifts are never limited to the material; in fact, the material is not at all the source of true gifts.
For the Outcome, you drew Saille or Sensitivity ill-dignified. You may be insensitive and/or others may be insensitive towards you. In the home, the most common manifestation of insensitivity can be when one member of the household expects someone else to pick up all of his or her etheric labor: someone who leaves dishes in the sink, sleeps into the afternoon, leaves the bathroom a mess and clothing everywhere. This is not to say that it will lack setbacks or challenges, however, you will likely meet them with a good attitude and overcome them with grace.

For the You card, you drew Ngetal or Health. Your health may prevent you from doing all that you want to this holiday, and you'll have to accept that and work within its limits. Regular supplementation, exercise, and clean eating can go a long way towards healing.
For the Situation, you drew Koad or Confluence. Not all of your problems arise from your own doings: some are luck of the draw. Karma is complicated and Meatworld itself may very well be an illusion. Don't expect you can figure it out (no human being is smart enough to do that) but instead be your noblest and best self now, even when it is hard and laborious and you don't feel like doing it.
For the Outcome, you drew Huath or Obstacles. Huath can be a danger card in my Ogham, so take heed. It can talk about an excess of Martial force or a lack of it: in excess, Martial force is angry and brash. Think bull in a china shop. If it isn't strong enough, Huath indicates wanting something for nothing; laziness and listlessness.
As to your friendships/acquaintances, the Ogham like them and think you should go forward with generosity in your heart. They give you Duir or Gifts well-dignified. Don't fear other people, including them going away. People come and go but your soul remembers them. But you have to have no expectations of return and you had better be ready to put up with a LOT of bullcrap. B is the hardest path because it is the one of self-sacrifice to the group.
C is much less intimate with the group. It seems to involve recognizing what you've approached wrongly in the group and why the group may never be quite right for you, but clearly it pains you to leave or not be involved, or I don't think we would see this card in this dignity.

When would it be best to ask for it?
I do mostly scrying, with good results, but I suspect that my desires are interfering.
