Ogham Readings on Sundays

Hi Everyone,

 

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

 

Please note I will be taking off the weeks of December 24, 2023 and December 31, 2023.  Readings will resume as usual January 7, 2024.

Hi P,

You drew three cards for the New Year.

For the You position, you drew Luis or Protection well-dignified. This is very positive for your self-development. You are gaining new ground where knowing the deep and important parts of yourself is concerned. That said, Luis can come as a test or tests: this year may bring the type of challenge that is designed to see what stuff you are made of. That kind of initiation is just as real as the old type that happens in a magical lodge. It is your Holy Guardian Angel proofing you.

For the Situation, you drew Oir or Epiphany well-dignified. More realization is on the table here, but it is most likely about other people or things that won't change according to your will. Epiphanies can be painful even when good but they are always necessary. This is a good time to think over epiphanies you've had in the past, how you reacted to them (well or not so well?) and what changes took place in your life because of them.

For the Outcome, you drew Beith or Intention ill-dignified. This year could bring some difficulty in doing what you want to do and/or what you were meant to do in this life. For instance, I am a musician and I find that my life often gets in the way of the music I want to write, produce, and practice. I simply have too much going on and need to pare it down. You may need to pare it down as well. Remember for something new to be born (Beith is also Birth) that something old must give way and die.
