I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

Hello Kimberly,

I'm the HS teacher from last time... Fairly uneventful week last week, although I suspect that you were still on target. Most of the dignified Ruis (for situation) seems to have rushed in here in the last day or two (or three).

As for the outcome (dignified Luis), is it possible to see (from the corner of my eyes) or otherwise feel the effects of the Holy Guardian Angel? I also experienced some synchronicity around the middle of the week (related to the words "analogy," analogical thinking," etc.) and other related topics, from which I inferred a general trend. Was this what my HGA was getting at? Or did I miss the point? Can you Ogham help with this?

(Just so you know, I'm emerging out of an atheistic materialist point of view, so a lot of this talk about angels is a bit weird for me. I'm widening my horizons, though, but it's a process.)

Hi Anon,

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, it is definitely possible to feel the effects of the HGA, but it is not going to be anything out of Harry Potter. No flashing lights or twinkling stars; just the slightly weird sensation of being a tiny bit improved compared to what you were yesterday. It's actually a great deal like practicing an instrument. Takes freaking forever to notice any improvement, there is much relentless labor and fiddling around, and then one random day you are able to play legato with two hands without it being a major emotional production.

Strange that you should mention analogy, because that was the exact topic of John Michael Greer's discussion of The Doctrine and Ritual of High Magic (book by Eliphas Levi) this week: https://www.ecosophia.net/the-doctrine-of-high-magic-chapter-22/ So the whole concept of analogy is not just a trend for you personally, it's actually the trend of the month for a big chunk of Ecosophia.net readers. It's a blog post worth reading even if you have never heard of Levi's book. Synchronicity!

My Ogham say Yes, that's exactly what your HGA was getting at. They provide Ur or Intimacy, meaning that it was an arrow straight to your heart.

I shared that I was an atheist-materialist all of 7 years ago, right? Sometimes that is why I think I have an easier time relating some of my magical experiences to others than John Michael Greer, because he is the equivalent of Julian Bream trying to teach a three chord jam.

I've been reading JMG's site for that last dozen years or so, so yes, I've heard of him and read the post last week. It was part of the synchronicity I was experiencing that week.
