Ogham Readings on Sundays

Hi Everyone,

 

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

Hi Anon,

My Ogham seem to think it could be a bit of a doozy: all three cards were ill-dignified. That said, forewarned is often forearmed, so hopefully you'll be able to head off any imbalance off at the pass.

For the You position, you drew Muin or Harvest. Ill-dignified, it means that your expectations aren't in line with reality and that you need to take a step back and accept that you may be disappointed. If you are prone to the psychology of previous investment (and I believe all of us are) then you should take a hard look at yourself for self-defeating behavior and reshape yourself in a different mold.

For the Situation, you drew Uilleand or Generosity. This one can actually be good. At its worst, Uilleand talks about being molly coddled or spoiled by someone, and yes, this person isn't necessarily your parent. You could also be the molly-coddler/spoiler. Since it is Situation, this could also be talking about someone close to you. Uilleand can also be positive when ill-dignified in the sense that it is an overflow of generosity coming to you or going out of you. If it is the latter, you can count on your excessive generosity being repaid to you 7x because that is part of natural law. The truly generous always receive far more than they give, and that's why Jesus was poor yet managed to sublimate himself into being a god for all eternity.

For the Outcome or Karma card, you got Ailm or Transcendence. When ill-dignified, this card often talks about feeling dragged down, depressed, and low. That said, the opposite imbalance of false transcendence is just as bad. In that case, it means insisting that you're TOTALLY OK when you're actually papering over your problems and those of others. Honesty is a much better policy, even if it is only something you keep to yourself.
