Ogham Readings on Sundays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

I will be taking off the last Sunday in December 2022 and the first Sunday of 2023 this year.

You are totally right that there is a major drama going on in my extended family, and my current strategy for dealing with it, as Defense might suggest, is avoiding the other person. I have a follow-up question I'd like to ask the Ogham about that. Do you do readings for pay off-schedule, or should I wait until next Sunday to ask?

I'm willing to read off schedule but as usual, it's got to be in donation format. If you'd like a 3 card follow-up reading, I suggest a donation of $12 or another multiple of 3 (Jupiter's number is 3 and today is his day). Can you provide a specific question or set of 3 questions?

My Ogham have three answers for your three questions.

For Question 1), "Am I legitimately in the wrong in any way?" They say Yes, and they give you Ur or Intimacy ill-dignified. This points to information being shared that should have been kept secret, feelings of betrayal, and/or not knowing the situation well enough to make a judgement. What could you have played closer to the vest in this matter? Or is it the opposite problem of being too distant? I highly recommend looking at the meanings of these cards on my http://druidogham.wordpress.com website in case I am missing anything.

For Question 2), "Is she telling the truth about a specific claim she made?" the answer is also Yes, and they provide Quert or Delight/Abundance well-dignified. This is to say that she believes wholeheartedly she is telling the truth.

For Question 3), "What does she want from me?" they provide Nuin or Communication ill-dignified, meaning that she feels you are a stranger to her and she does not know what she wants because she cannot make up her own mind on the matter. Regardless of her state on this, you can improve communication with her by using whatever media she prefers. For instance, some people really dig Facebook Messenger (one of the only positive aspects of FB in my opinion) and others prefer handwritten letters. Some prefer texts or phone calls and for some only a personal visit will do. Communicate with her in the specific way that she is used to and likes and it will be an olive branch of sorts.

Thanks, this helps. Re: #1, the established dynamic in the relationship was that I was stuck at the extreme of Ur ill-dignified excess, people-pleasing and getting entangled in things, for a long time. Then I finally completely snapped over something petty, awakening 20 years of stuffed-down frustrations, and now perhaps I've flipped to the other extreme of Ur ill-dignified dearth, being distant.

Ur ill-dignified excess is basically the root of Angry Oregonian's anger across a variety of situations. It does result in feeling like most people don't really know me. -- Angry Oregonian

I know what you mean with the people pleasing. I got to the point of a nervous breakdown in my 30s when I realized people pleasing had allowed some major opportunists in my local professional organization to squeeze all of the vitality out of me (and the music) and to reward me with scorn. They thought I would do it forever for the sake of being nice and attaining status like a good little suck up. They were wrong.
