Ogham Readings on Sundays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

I will be taking off the last Sunday in December 2022 and the first Sunday of 2023 this year.

Hi Kimberly,

I believe I have burned too much time and energy trying to connect with 3 immediate family members.

It’s past time I accept these relationships will never be what I hope for, and move on.

Question for the Ogham:

How best to accept this disappointment and move on?

My Ogham agree with you: it's for the best for you to move on.

They provide three cards for the three people you leave behind.

For the You card, they provide Duir or Gifts well-dignified. Your gifts aren't in good use with the three family members and they go unappreciated. Best to use them elsewhere on people, places, animals, etc. who can use them.

For the Situation, they provide Ioho or Grace ill-dignified. It is all too easy to try to cling on in various aspects, falling prey to sob stories or other emotional blackmail techniques your three family members may use to reel you in. You will have to strengthen yourself and anticipate their tactics before they can think them up. A cut and clear spell or spells may be worth pondering.

For the Outcome, they provide Straif or Resilience. Much of the issue with these family members is the inability to move with the flow. This is indicated by the previous card, which indicates an unwillingness to grow up, but also by this card which shows you as more resilient than they are. They are inflexible and that's what leads them to break. You are more fluid and able to go with the headwind instead of against it.
