I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. Please only donate if you can absolutely afford it. I've been there. Your prayers for my continued success are welcome whether you donate or not! I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

What does your ogham have to say about the issue my partner has been struggling with since spring of 2021? Will is be resolved? Is it happening for a reason, and if so, what is that reason? Is there a way to address it more constructively?

Date: 2022-09-12 06:10 pm (UTC)My Ogham provide Straif or Strife/Resilience in regards to the issue your partner has been struggling with. It is well-dignified, meaning that it is one of the common tests of mortal life. In other words, it is perfectly normal.
For the "Will it be resolved?" question, you forgot to add to your question the necessary modifier "in a way that I want it to resolve?" The story of Croesus, who asked the Oracle of Delphi if a great empire would be destroyed if he took his forces to war with Persia. She said YES, but Croesus forgot to ask if it was Persia that would be destroyed. Croesus ended up destroying his own empire. The Ogham give you Huath or Obstacles well-dignified, meaning of course it will resolve, but the Powers have not let on how it will resolve. Your partner's best bet is to take a calm, direct, no-nonsense approach towards this dilemma and approach it as if it was a debt to be paid to the gods, always backing up words with concrete action and eliminating any and all whining, drama, or bellyaching.
For the "Is there a reason?" My Ogham say No. They provide Muin or Harvest ill-dignified, which means that this is a normal cause/effect process where blame and pity need to be scrupulously avoided because it is extremely complex, yet also perfectly normal.

For the You position, they provide Phagos or Teaching ill-dignified. You may run into some ignoramuses in the real or virtual space this week, and they will be of the type who refuse to learn a lesson no matter how hard it whacks them in the face. Hopefully the ignoramus is not you! Nevertheless, be on the alert for obstinate, obtuse, "my ignorance is better than your knowledge", not-so-great behavior in yourself and others. This card may also mean possessing lots of wisdom and very few or no students showing up to benefit from it, so there's that.
For the Situation, you drew Mór or Sea Change ill-dignified. The astral morass strikes again... that plague of modernity or the Kali Yuga or whatever we call our current demonic age is back. Moods could get touchy, dreams may be icky. It's not a good week to execute major decisions or to buy large, expensive things.
For the Outcome, you drew Uilleand or Generosity. Once again you remedy and balance the situation via your generous nature, which seems not even to require all that much thought at this point. Good on you, say the Ogham.

I am considering selling my upper farm, buying out the neighbors farm with a bit less than half of the the proceeds, and dedicating the other half of said proceeds for my brother, who wishes to buy his own house.
What does the Ogham make of this plan? Earlier in the year, I asked on selling this upper farm without qualifications, and I wonder if Ruis ill dignified presented then was a matter of inappropriate timing, which has seemingly now turned (I am certainly not regretting waiting until now). In this matter, I am consulting subject matter experts, albeit with a healthy dose of wariness, is this wariness justified?

They provide Duir or Gifts ill-dignified, meaning that it is very Jesus-like behavior to go forward as you've been planning. I asked what the outcome of this would be and they provided Luis or Protection, meaning it would please your higher self and spirit guides and you would also provide strong protection via this plan.
For your healthy matter of wariness, they say it's not completely justified. They provide Muin or Harvest ill-dignified, meaning that you may be over-investing in the opinion of experts. The Ogham vote for following your gut on this one.

1)The process for doing my new job. To me it is antiquated and I can do better by simply being a sincere and curious person. Will I have conflict if I resist the system?
2)Have I overstepped my bounds by sharing my experience and opinions with people at work? (I am old enough to be their mother).
3) What does it look like for my mother's move to live with me?

To question 1), my Ogham say Yes, it's a sure thing. Conflict will ensue. Nevertheless, conflict is good and healthy. They provide Ngetal or Hygiene, which means that you need to be yourself no matter what they say.
To question 2), my Ogham also say Yes. They provide Onn or Community, meaning that you should focus on listening a bit more, just like a good mom!
To question 3), my Ogham see it working out for the both of you. They provide Duir or Gifts, meaning you'll both be generous about accommodating each other and it will be a win-win situation.

That said, Coll indicates this is a private matter for him, so it is best to tread lightly and gently and not impose yourself on Uncle P's business unless he asks you for your help.

Date: 2022-09-12 07:21 pm (UTC)I have read some stuff by Kaldera. He is gifted and insightful but he often goes to extremes. Makes me wonder if he does a banishing ritual on any sort of regular basis... I am going to guess it is a "no".
My Ogham think you should modify both of the bead prayers. For the Parenting Beads, they provide Saille or Flexibility, which is a green light from my Ogham to modify the prayers to suit your needs. They are good beads/prayers at their foundation and they can withstand pruning.
For the Northern Tradition ones, it is another green light. The Ogham provide Ngetal or Hygiene, meaning you should clean up the intentions (sounds like there is some cacomagic in there) and once you've done that, it is full steam ahead!

In the You position, they provide Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. There is a chance of your life being in danger or being injured this week, so be very aware and don't take any chances. Usually this card is more innocuous but because it has shown up in some near-deadly weeks for people, I feel I must say it. There is more of a chance that it isn't deadly though and indicates some misuse of force on your part, either by overdoing it or not rising to the occasion and under-doing it.
For the Situation, you drew Mór or Sea Change well-dignified, meaning that your pocket of astral weather isn't all that bad and that luck is good this week in general. It is a beneficent time to take care of important business matters, plan and make big purchases, and to be out and about.
For the Outcome, you drew Coll or Wisdom ill-dignified. There will be people around you or people who you must deal with who are deliberately ignorant and comfortably dumb. At its mildest, this card speaks of having a lot of wisdom but being unable to share it.

Date: 2022-09-11 04:33 pm (UTC)Regarding the readings you gave me for the remainder of the month of August (https://kimberlysteele.dreamwidth.org/69885.html), I found the "You" reading of Muin ill-dignified correct, as some old bad habits were starting to creep up on me again. I admittedly didn't find a clear connection for your interpretation of Ailm for the "Situation" reading, though I'll think on it more. As for the ill-dignified Onn I got for "Outcome," I think it was a mixed bag - I did try reaching out often last month to meet new people, but I didn't take some opportunities for friendship I could have and not all the groups I was with seemed like groups where I'd make the sort of long-term friends I need. I'm hoping your Ogham might help provide some confirmation on this matter.
My questions for your Ogham today:
1, what do I need to know to make the best of this week?
2, does your Ogham think I didn't put enough effort in to connect with people in the meetup groups I met with last month, or does it believe I'm not finding the right sort of groups or people I can form long-term friendships and community with?

My Ogham give you three cards this week. For the You position, they provide Ruis or Regret well-dignified. You are beginning to use regret in the way the powers intended, meaning as a thrust block for doing better in the world rather than as an excuse.
For the Situation, they provide Ailm or Transcendence ill-dignified. They are saying you need to delve much deeper into the meaning of this card and that you are not seeing the big picture at this point. Ailm in this dignity can mean an expectation that all your problems are solved and wrapped up in a neat little bow at the end of a day, and that's simply not how it works.
For the Outcome, you drew Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified. At its worst, Uilleand can indicate stinginess or parsimony or ladling affection on someone who doesn't want or appreciate it. At its best, Uilleand is giving so freely and generously from the heart WITHOUT EXPECTATION OF ANYTHING AT ALL IN RETURN that it naturally bounces back at you.
For the groups, they say Yes, you didn't put effort into the right places or in the right ways. They provide Ioho or Grace well-dignified. The Ogham are telling you straight up to gracefully let go of your expectations. Though they are not impossible, they are unrealistic and highly unlikely to happen.
