The Georgia Guidestones, that hideously ugly brutalist monument to population control and the one world government in a small town near Atlanta, GA, has been leveled. It was reported yesterday that the guidestones were hit and a bomb squad was put on the task.

The guidestones were so structurally damaged that authorities saw fit to fully dismantle the rest of them by crane. I know the Christians are going to think their god did this, but if you ask me, it bears the mark of Zeus the Thunderer. I believe Hera answered my (and other people's) prayers for rainstorms to douse the fireworks and save the night for the animals and PTSD sufferers. Interesting how the Georgia Guidestones got hit right around the same time.

Happy Independence Week and Praise the Gods! Video showing the strike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58jc6OZE6Ik

Wow! That definitely looks more like a lightning strike than an explosive. I'll be interested to see how they're going to try to spin this in the media. First they have to gloss over what Nazi stonehenge actually is, then try to explain why it was definitely, definitely terrorists.

Whether it's Zeus, Thor, the Christian God or any number of other storm gods, they clearly were not happy.

Lightning seems to keep hitting weird things as well, like the mural of George Floyd, and I'm pretty sure there were other woke objects which I saw had been obliterated.

Praise Zeus!

I'm not sure they are the same god - I tried praying to the Norse gods when I was looking for a pantheon, but got a "thanks but no thanks" kind of reply. Thor is also supposed to have a very different personality and responsibilities.

I think of it like a 'company' of gods - there are different departments, like the 'storm god' and 'fertility god' departments, and different gods within them, who may have different geographical areas and personalities and affiliations. And eventually, those gods move on to their next incarnation, leaving the position open to the next soul ready for the experience.

Either way - I do love me a good storm god!

Bayourenaissanceman.blogspot.com, who has combat experience, said it looked to him like it was hit by a missile. Maybe Zeus has upgraded from lightning bolts. đŸ˜„

Does anybody remember Touchdown Jesus, a sculpture in front of a mega church? It was destroyed by lightning.

Also, apparently it was the Hindi/Swahili tablet which was destroyed, so perhaps it was Indra or the Bantu god Shango?

If the gods miss, it's because it was only a warning shot.

I don't care who did it. But I admit I was pleased at the news ;) May the same happen to ugly public art everywhere!

And hey, wouldn't it be *interesting* to live in a world where public art is judged directly by the gods, and your reputation as an artist or architect lives or dies on a lightning strike?

At the very least, people would try harder ;)

The world needs more gardens! Meanwhile, I want to read the dark comedic novel where a plucky group of art terrorists have been dodging police and destroying ugly monuments. Now they are planning their biggest act of vandalism yet: the controlled demolition, under cover of darkness, of the Boston City Hall building...

Hahaha, yes! Clearly this needs to be a short story. Our plucky heroes: a neoclassical sculptor, an idealistic architect who used to be a tour guide at Monticello, and a landscape painter who dreams about wind-sculpted sandstone rock formations in Utah, butter-yellow in the sunset with violet shadows.

It would be easy for them to be angry about all the defacement of beautiful old bronze portraiture during the 2020 riot season, but instead they're inspired. They've been given permission to clear the pedestal, make room in the world for beautiful things.

They call themselves Blank Slate.

They started small. A little spraypaint here and there. "Art could be beautiful". Overnight, painted red poppies so real they looked like you could pluck them, popped up on flat mausoleum-like war memorials. Not the big ones-- small, local ones. There were lively local debates over whether the memorials should be cleaned, or left as they were. Many felt they should left alone until the paint faded. They were done in carefully-sealed enamels, and it was feared they could not be removed without damaging the monuments. Some tried anyway.

Still, it only made the news-of-the-weird column now and then. Until Greg joined the team. It was unclear how he'd found them. He had a passion for the Ravenna mosaics, but wasn't an artist of any sort. He liked blowing stuff up. Together, they became art terrorists. The first time they made real news was with the Tear of Grief monument. They didn't really know what they were doing yet, but beautifully calligraphed on the pavement: "The dead deserve better/Than this/Monstrous vulva --Our compliments. Blank Slate" Unfortunately, they were still new at the business, and failed to bring down the monument, just left some black marks and sent it a little askew. It was repaired, but never looked quite the same after.

They got better.

Security cameras catch the blast but no sign of anyone who planted the devices?

Either divine intervention or an Epstein-like camera malfunction that "coincidentally" happened while the humans responsible were at work

But assuming it was just some christian militia types? Personally I prefer the monuments to exist. If they exist then they can always be pointed to later as proof of what we were up against in this time. If gone? All kinds of revisionist history and theories can be crafted about them.

Its why I don't want all the CRT books burned or erased from history. We can't forget this. We can't allow it to happen again.

The video definitely looks like a lightning strike rather than a human made blasting tool. The more I look at it the more I believe this wasn't the plan of any group or individual.

The recent lightning strike of the St. Floyd mural shows that something sure is offended by all these works of 'art'

I would love for that to be a statement from the Divine about the future of the globalist agenda.

Also: those stones started rolling exactly as Hajj began, so our respective religious communities may have to agree to a three-way split when it comes to the divine credit.

Be Blessed!

It could have been a mage who pulled this off; one adept at weather magic. Though that would probably involve invoking air elementals or angels, or more likely a storm/weather/sky deity....which leads us back to your hypothesis, lol.

Whatever it was, I sure ain't complaining!
