Ogham Readings on Sundays
May. 21st, 2022 11:37 pm
I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. Please only donate if you can absolutely afford it. I've been there. Your prayers for my continued success are welcome whether you donate or not! I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night.Ogham readings are concluded for the week of May 22. Please feel free to comment on existing threads and see you next week for more Ogham readings!
Re: Reading for the week
Date: 2022-05-23 06:43 pm (UTC)This week you drew three cards.
For the You position, you drew Straif or Resilience well-dignified. When you can't stand someone or something because he/she/it goes against your grain, you have choices. You can let it irritate the crap out of you or you can use it as a thrust block to reinforce your best characteristics. You choose the high road this week. This strengthens you for the long haul.
For the Situation position, you drew Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified. When this card is ill-dignified, it can indicate financial setbacks. Because it is in Situation, it may be talking about someone close to you. It can also be talking about the psychology of previous investment and putting too much energy into a lost cause. Like when I strenuously weed the garden and I don't put mulch on there to keep the new weeds from popping up!
For the Outcome, you drew Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified. This card in this dignity can go a few different ways. For one, it could be talking about excessive generosity pushed in your direction or put out there by you. Often I have drawn it and then I have given a great deal of myself that day, and then in the next few weeks and months I have seen those generous acts return to me as happiness and abundance in my life. But it can also mean smothering or being smothered. I guess that just proves there is a fine line between giving of yourself and trying to make too much of an impression through gifts.
