kimberlysteeleAttention! I am changing Ogham on Mondays to Ogham on SUNDAYS. I will be doing readings on Sundays instead of Mondays starting next week. I'll put up the notice late Saturday night and read until Sunday night at 8pm.
Submit your question or request for a general "what's up this week" reading and I will be happy to oblige! I read between the time I post on Sunday night with a deadline of 8pm Monday night.
I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. This has a couple of negative potentials to be wary of this week: one is a threat to your health or to the health and well-being of someone very close to you. The other is the urge to smother/overprotect which tends to be unproductive and risky in its own way.

I often draw this card when my finances are especially thin, so I suggest keeping an eye on your bank account. It could also be talking about low energy. For the You position, you drew Luis or Protection well-dignified. Your needs are taken care of this week, and for this you can be grateful. Nevertheless, the presence of this card, even well-dignified, can mean your Holy Guardian Angel (your main spiritual protector, we all have one) is on high alert, so keep that in mind before doing anything risky.
For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts ill-dignified. There is no bad side to Duir. When it is ill-dignified or imbalanced, it means that you'll be the recipient of a generous gift or you'll be the one generously donating. Keep in mind Duir is usually not talking about literally donating money. If it's you donating, you can expect your generosity to be returned to you sevenfold and in seven forms.
For the Outcome, you drew Fearn or Bridge well-dignified. Fearn means Guidance. You'll feel you are in good hands and going the right direction and you will be correct. Our teenage daughter wants to get out of the school system and graduate with homeschooling/distance learning. We support this plan - she isn‘t happy in school, and she is going to pull this off successfully.
However, school attendance is mandatory for her in our region, for another one and a half years, so technically speaking, this plan isn‘t „legal“.
We have identified several options for getting her out of this mandatory school attendance, and would very much like the Ogham‘s advice about these options before we proceed.
(We‘d rather avoid any fines and other trouble - and we‘d also much rather invest our energy into something more productive than fighting with the authorities over school attendance…)
The potential options we see right now are:
1. We simply give a written notice of her departure and hope that neither the school nor the public school authorities follow up on this, that they just leave us alone.
2. We live in a country were you have to register your place of residence with the authorities (again, fines involved and all that). There is another region were she would not have to attend school anymore due to different rules. We could pretend for her to „move“ to relatives there for a few months, then register her back with us and hope to get her out of the mandatory school system that way.
3. We approach the school authorities, talk to them about the situation and our daughter‘s plans, and hope that they either grant an exception, or at the very least tolerate it without too much fuss.
4. And of course, if the Ogham suggests that yet another approach would give a more favourable result for our daughter and for us, we‘re all ears… :-)

My Ogham think Number 3 is your best bet.
For Option 1, they provide Oír or Epiphany ill-dignified. Oír is about going around the idiots and unfortunately these idiots cannot be avoided by simply informing them in writing that she is being withdrawn.
For Option 2, they give you Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. Trying to get her out this way is not an approach the Ogham recommend.
For Option 3, talking to them and hoping they'll grant an exception, they provide Luis or Protection well-dignified. The Ogham maintain it's not guaranteed to work, but Number 3 is by far your best shot at getting her out. Good luck to you and her!

This happened in a gussied up occult chatroom, of all places, and the only thing which stopped me from throwing back, "Maybe jerking off onto a crudely drawn sigil is more your speed; try chaos magic," was the sudden thought, "Oh this is what the reading warned about." So I tut-tutted at him and walked away from the computer. Even now it sounds petty, but in the moment I was getting absurdly angry over really nothing important. Guess what I'm trying to say is Ogham will solve the world's problems, one prevented internet argument at a time.

To use the question from last week, here's mother swapped out for father:
I'm pondering my father's family line, and wonder if the Ogham would be able and willing to share what deep wounds exist in that line, and what their origins may be.
Ideas on how to help heal those would be much appreciated. FWIW, most of my father's family were either deceased or otherwise unknown to me.

My Ogham give you three cards concerning your father's line.
For the deep wounds that exist in that line, they provide Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified, which indicates the loss of someone who was a brilliant empath and healing influence. Not sure if this person died at a young age or was taken away in some other sense, such as disillusionment.
For the origin of the wounds, they give Luis or Protection ill-dignified. The empath or empaths in the family were put in danger somehow, and due to a series of unfortunate events, the worst happened.
For the way of healing, they give Fearn or Bridge well-dignified. Gently encouraging others in the family to be empathic and sensitive and modeling empathy by example is the best strategy for honoring the memory of the special ancestor.

There are also many religions, most of them monotheistic, that seek to use their adherents as fuel. Communism and monotheism are both parasitic because they are astral pyramids that feed from bottom to top.
My advice here is to pray to your own Holy Guardian Angel for guidance.

For the sale itself, they give you Duir or Gifts well-dignified, which means the transaction will go very well and the new owners will be pleasant to deal with.

This child is lucky to have not only protective parents but also a protective community of humans and non-human entities around him or her. Don't be shy about asking for help. You will receive it.
My Ogham do not like the doctor. They give Fearn or Guidance ill-dignified in general estimation of the doctor. Fearn is the tree-card of bad gurus, of leaders who are incompetent or worse. Continuing the relationship is probably not for the best, but of course the ultimate judgement is up to you and that is as it should be.
