Your best bet is to assess the factors you can control and to mold them to your advantage. This card also implies taking responsibility for what has happened is necessary.
For the question of "allowing" his father back on the scene, the Ogham recommend against it. They provide Ur or Intimacy ill-dignified, which means that the close relationship they might have had most likely cannot be rebuilt. The Ogham are recommending that Sonkitten's father should be kept at a distance.

Date: 2022-01-11 12:47 am (UTC)My Ogham recommend Choice B. For Choice A, they give you Straif or Resilience ill-dignified. Choice A clearly creates difficulty; Straif is also Strife and out of balance, it means unwanted stress will arise from Choice A that could have been avoided.

There may be the urge to overshare, to talk trash, or to generally divulge too much information as a form of social currency. Resist the temptation and take the high road. There also might be the opposite problem of clamming up and not expressing yourself when you truly ought to express yourself. Remember that old song by Simon and Garfunkel, "I am a Rock, I am an Island"? Don't be that guy.
For the Situation, you drew Onn or Community well-dignified. You will find allies in people you are acquainted with this week. This could be co-workers, retail workers, family you don't see often, friends of friends, etc. You will feel comfortable and possibly have some opportunities coming at you from that sector.
For the Outcome, you drew Saille or Sensitivity ill-dignified. One of the plagues of modern life is the urge to do it all. You must pick and choose what you truly love, whether that refers to friends, spouses, the restaurant you're eating at this weekend, or the stuff stored in a drawer. Anything you feel lukewarm about should be excluded. If it's a person, they need to be set free to find people who might love them more than you do. If it is a restaurant, you can't eat at two or more places at the same time. If it is an item in the drawer, it could be of use to someone else and as clutter, it only amasses bad energy, so get rid of it and vow not to re-clutter the space.

For the You position, you got Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. This indicates you'll be heavy handed where you should not be or the opposite problem, that you'll have weak energy or will run away from a problem you were destined to face. Face any challenges this week head-on and try to be cool about it, but not so cool that you shrink away in fear.

Date: 2022-01-10 11:15 am (UTC)Based on astrocartography reading my husband is in a dangerous health and relationship situation in the Southeast-where he wants to live. What does the Ogham say about his health? What does it say about the Southeast?
Is it a good idea for us to divide next week so that I can take W&S to an event they have been practicing for?
Will the area north of Atlanta be a good choice for us for living?
Is it best to let friends close our apartment in Europe and skip the expense (emotional and financial) to travel back and close that experience.

This seems to point to him either being too Spartan about his health regime or the opposite, which means he overindulges and thus undermines his health. Other than that, I will say no more because I cannot go into health issues here.
For the Southeast, they provide Ioho ill-dignified. Ioho is Grace. When it is ill-dignified, it points to not being able to let go of what was not meant for you or the opposite imbalance of letting go without enough of a fight. He may have to work much harder than he thought in the Southeast or the environment may end up being bad for his personal health.
For the question of next week, my Ogham say Yes, you should divide and take W & S to the event. They give you Tinne or Defense well-dignified, which is saying "divide and you shall conquer!"
For the north of Atlanta, they say it is a decent choice. They give Eadha or Limits well-dignified, which means that it won't be beyond your wildest dreams or anything, but it will suit you well enough to get along for a while.
For Europe, they say no, you should go and close it yourself. They give you Duir or Gifts ill-dignified, which suggests that you will be protected and blessed if you choose to take care of it yourselves. Because it is Duir, you also have the option of letting your friends do it, but you will owe them big time.

She may need this experience as part of her karma, so it is best to stand out of the way. Maybe try to gently let her know you are there for her -- often this can be done in subtext without saying a word (at least that's how we do it in the Midwest). Leave the door open.
For not talking to her, they provide Muin or Harvest well-dignified. By letting her "ripen" this by herself, you are giving her the freedom she needs to resolve this experience.

One slightly unrelated question if I may, even though Monday is over: Where did you get your Ogham from? Are they homemade?
I should get some to work with John MIchael Greers Druid books, but the cards I’ve seen don‘t really speak to me, and I like your little „stones“ or chips which are shown on the photos. Something along those lines might be better for me right now…

Date: 2022-01-11 02:21 am (UTC)For the first strategy, they provide Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified. This points to either not having the wherewithal to follow through on the first strategy or having the problem of the psychology of previous investment, meaning pouring energy into a dead end.
For the second strategy, they provide Ngetal ill-dignified. Strategy two isn't healthy. There is some kind of sepsis going on, whether physical, etheric, or astral or all three. There is also the possibility of overreaction to sepsis, meaning you end up throwing out the baby with the bathwater by trying to eliminate the original problem.
For the third strategy, they provide Fearn or Bridge ill-dignified. This way is littered with bad advice and the blind leading the blind. There is also the possibility of burning a bridge or misunderstanding a sign.
If there's a fourth way, you should try and find it!

For me this week, it's a big old crap sandwich. All three cards were ill-dignified. Think of each card as an Aristotelian ternary of two opposite vices with the middle being a balanced state. The Ogham are warning me that I will easily swing into imbalance this week if I allow it to happen.
For the You card (me) I got Eadha or Limits ill-dignified. Eadha is symbolized by the Aspen, a tree that shivers and quakes from the slightest wind. This means I need to stay in my lane this week -- there will be pressure on me to clean up every mess and I'll be pulled this way and that. They are saying I need to assert my limits and say "Hard No". I cannot be all things to all people. They also might be pointing to something I want that is out of reach, though for me I don't see that as being as much of a potential imbalance this week. It's probably the first thing I mentioned, feeling pressured.
For the Situation, I got Luis or Protection ill-dignified. Luis is symbolized by the Maple in my updated Prairie Ogham but it is Rowan in the old Celtic one. Either way, the trees are protective, magical, and graceful. Luis talks about not listening to my better self (it's the card of the Holy Guardian Angel) or of being at actual physical risk or astral risk. The astral plane is septic right now so it's not shocking to hear that I'll need to wear an amulet this week, maybe take a hoodoo bath, and generally be aware of threats.
For the Outcome, I drew Quert or Delight ill-dignified. Quert is a tree of gratitude for the little things and talks about attention to detail. If I were younger, it might be talking about some hot romantic action because it is a card sacred to Aphrodite. Think of the delicate beauty of the apple tree's flowers which turn to nourishing apples in Fall. This card being ill-dignified is warning me to take time for myself this week. I need to "stop and smell the roses" and not be such a hard-ass, lest I become brittle.
Now I could tell the Ogham were poking a bit of fun because your reading was all well-dignified. No crap sandwich for you! Keep in mind I have had sketchy weeks with all well-dignified cards, but overall it should be pretty good this week.
For the You position, you drew Ruis or Regret well-dignified. You'll regret something you experienced just enough not to make the same mistake again. This also points to productive discursive meditation this week if you do that. Ruis is symbolized by the Elder in the Old Ogham and by Black Walnut in mine. Both are formidable trees that belong to the fairies. There is great wisdom in regret -- rather than wallowing in it, choose to pick yourself up, resolve it with an "I don't do that anymore" and use the regret as a thrust block to propel you to better and brighter things.
For the Situation, you drew Onn or Community well-dignified. Onn is Gorse in the old Ogham and Monarda in my Prairie Ogham. I chose Monarda because it is the most common prairie plant (ubiquitous like the common folk) and pollinators and other animals love and depend upon it. You will find harmony in the world of acquaintances this week. This could be people at the store, co-workers, extended family members, or people online. Sitting well in your niche opens doors for you, and if you can muster some kind words for all you meet, you will find that the kindness returns to you in various forms.
For the Outcome, you drew Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. Saille is symbolized by the Willow tree, so when I was meditating on trees for this card, I thought of how willow branches don't snap and break in windy weather like maples and oaks. Their flexibility gets them through storms. You are flexible where you need to be flexible this week, but you avoid the mistake of being indiscriminate, which sits you in a place of harmony and balance. Though we are often trained to be indiscriminate, it's OK to choose only what you love and mercilessly exclude everything else. You say No where it is needed and it ends up giving you a big advantage.

For the You card, you got Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. The Ogham are saying "be careful" in all things, take extra precautions, go slowly and carefully. When this card pops up, it usually means there is danger lurking about. The opposite imbalance is being over-defensive and ruled by fear, which in its ironic way puts you in danger as well.
For the Situation card, you got Muin or Harvest ill-dignified. There may be an urge to rush to completion where no completion was in the forecast for this time. It's also possible to have a bad harvest, meaning you had lousy intentions that met their inevitable end. Additionally, Muin can point out the psychology of previous investment, meaning slogging through in bad faith when that situation would be better off ended.
For the Outcome, you drew Phagos or Teaching ill-dignified. There is frustration about not knowing something truly or there could be arrogance about knowledge that draws the wrath of the gods like Arachne and her weaving. Take a humble attitude and accept what you don't know and you will be fine.

For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts ill-dignified. There isn't a bad side to Duir. Ill-dignified, it is usually talking about privilege and the need to pay it forward. This could be privilege you are enjoying or it could be privilege you are giving to someone else, for instance your children. Sometimes we give gifts in hopes that the people receiving them will learn the benefit of giving.
