For the You card, you got Koad or Confluence well-dignified. Overall, things go your way this week, and this is influenced partially by your good attitude and also by an upturn in your luck.
For the Situation, you got Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified. You keep an open heart and mind this week and you see the rewards of this in instant karma. Instant karma isn't always bad!
For the Outcome, you got Ioho or Grace ill-dignified, which means it will be hard to let go of something who was not meant for you this week. When ill-dignified, Ioho can also indicate that you are having the opposite form of imbalance, meaning you are allowing yourself to be pushed around. I tend to have that issue, and whenever I am too nice and I don't make a pest of myself by speaking up, it comes back around to bite me later. I'm slowly learning to speak my mind and hold my ground, like a sand wall that has finally hardened into stone facing a storm.

I wouldn't expect to become independently wealthy in the next year, but overall you will find your generosity always returns to you and you will be able to make ends meet just fine. 2022 will also bring some cool opportunities and warm connections.
For the Situation, you drew Ur or Intimacy well-dignified. If you have a mate, that bond will stay strong this year. Whether or not you have a mate, this card shows the skill of being able to keep a secret. You learn when not to divulge unnecessary information out of insecurity or wanting people to like you.

I have this problem of eclecticism -- do you know any other singing Druid cat-ladies who make sushi? For the You position, they give you Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified. This week you feel strained. It's stressful right now and people in your inner circle may not be helping that or they may even be the direct cause. There is also the chance of Perseverance in excess, otherwise known as the psychology of previous investment, or pouring too much time and energy into what no longer makes sense.
For the Situation, you drew Ioho or Grace well-dignified. You defer gracefully this week and you pass the torch in an appropriate way that opens the gate of good opportunities in the future.

For the first in the You position, you drew Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified. This week may end up wearing your patience very thin or it could be difficult in some other way. For me, Gort ill-dig usually indicates meagerness in my bank accounts. It could also be talking about the psychology of previous investment -- hammering away because it is a habit to do so but not getting a return on investment.
For the Situation, you drew Oír or Epiphany well-dignified. You or someone near and dear to you will have a lightning-bolt realization. Though it is well-dignified, epiphanies can be harsh and painful. Epiphanies are almost always good for you though, at least the way my Ogham interprets them. They can give you clues about how to proceed in difficult situations and difficult times.
For the Outcome, you drew Duir or Gifts ill-dignified. There really is no bad side to Duir. I drew it recently and it was basically pointing out the need for me to pay it forward, most likely in the form of some planetary charity. This can be financial or otherwise -- giving money is only a small fraction of the ways to be charitable. All the gifts you give from your heart will be returned by the power of seven or more. Those who give even when they cannot afford it are the richest of all because they are rich in spirit, just like the truly young are the young at heart.

Nevertheless, it is not a bad idea to try to tip the balance by being exceedingly, compulsively generous. If you are able to act that way, you will find your gifts return to you in seven ways and at least seven forms.
For the Situation, you drew Ailm or Transcendence ill-dignified. Look out for some depression this week -- that is too little Transcendence energy at work. If you have the opposing imbalance which is just as bad, you'll or someone in your inner circle will suffer from false Transcendence. This can take the form of overconfidence, or a bitter denial of the issues you think you've got conquered but you don't. The best cure for this is (drumroll please) discursive meditation.

For your husband, it's also very good. He drew Ruis or Regret well-dignified, which says that he will be able to grow from the past and use his regrets constructively in the new location.
For the relationship with SMK, it's not as good. The Ogham provide Eadha or Limits ill-dignified, which means the limits of you living in South Carolina will impede your relationship with SMK.

For the Situation, you drew Ur or Intimacy well-dignified. All signs point to your relationship with your husband being harmonious in 2022. In general, your close relationships will become closer and better. This also speaks to the value of knowing how to keep a secret, which is the secret of close friendships.

This year you'll have to watch for two tendencies of imbalance: either the tendency to be too passive, too aggressive, or swings between both. He discovers the joy of narrowing things down -- when you do this, there's suddenly a great deal more energy for what you truly want out of life.
For the Situation, he drew Ngetal or Hygiene ill-dignified. There will be a situation where either he or someone close to him is physically unwell, mentally unwell, or both. If it is physical, his best bet would be to find a good holistic physician and work with that person to improve his health. If it is mental, the practice of daily discursive meditation can cure many ills, and the coolest thing about it is it is absolutely free.
For the Outcome, he drew Ioho or Grace well-dignified, which means this year he may end up losing something/someone very dear and important to him, but it will be the right thing at the right time. The Ogham suggest he takes a reflective and contemplative stance.

I think what they are saying is your best strategy is to be generous to everyone who is helping you complete the project: don't skimp on appreciating them and be punctual and gracious about payment.
For the transition, they say it will be a bit sticky. They give you Ruis or Regret ill-dignified, which means that there will be sadness about what you've had to leave behind or some loose ends will refuse to be tied up.

My sinus infection flared up, so I am not feeling well, BUT the toilet, which had been gurgling loudly when flushed, is back to normal; I had been afraid we’d end up having to call the plumber, and as we all know it’s cheaper to call a neurosurgeon. So overall, I am flushed with happiness, and therefore call that a win for the Oghams. Now what do they have to say about the first week of 2022?

I myself had a hell of a year in 2021 -- Kiki, my beloved cat of 15 years had to be put down and I had to downsize my music studio. Would you ask the Ogham if I should carry on looking west for moving house, or discard that idea and look east? Am still learning and it would be nice to have a perspective unclouded by my own prejudices and hang-ups.

Date: 2022-01-04 04:35 am (UTC)For the West, they give you Phagos or Teaching well-dignified, which is to say moving West will provide the basis for development on the mental plane. The book I'm writing, Sacred Homemaking, talks about home being the crucial seat of all learning.
For the East, my Ogham aren't so keen on that for you. They provide Muin or Harvest ill-dignified, meaning anything that looks promising out there wouldn't live up to the hype.

Date: 2022-01-04 04:45 am (UTC)For the first month of January, you drew Mór or Sea Change ill-dignified. Factors beyond your control are a crap sandwich. Make the best of it, but expect stress and know it's nothing you did, it's just a crap sandwich and that's life.
For February, they gave you Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified. Either this shows overinvestment in a situation that doesn't bring good returns or it shows trouble "hanging in there", which could be financial or could indicate strain on relationships.
For March, they gave you Onn or Community ill-dignified, which means people who are on the acquaintance level (co-workers, extended family, people in your town) let you down or make you feel like the odd person out. Be ready to go your own way and forge your own path in spite of naysayers.
For the "anything I should be worried about?" they give you Ioho or Grace ill-dignified. This points to not wanting to let go of something that is well past its peak. It can also talk about excessive deference, meaning you may be called to fight for what you believe in and you'll be loathe to do it, but it is what has to be done.

For the You card, you drew Beith or Intention ill-dignified. You may have one of those months where your get up and go got up and went. I certainly have them! That would be a dearth or lack of Intention in my system. The other possibility is you end up going in the wrong direction or too many directions at once. Your best strategy for that is taking a good, hard look at what you want and then excluding what you either don't want or are lukewarm about. For instance, I love almost all handicrafts but I'm not willing to put in the time to do all the ones I'm interested in. I am giving up on macrame and painting for the foreseeable future... I just don't have time!!
For the Situation, you drew Quert or Delight well-dignified. You take the time to smell the roses and you pay attention and give gratitude for the small things. Gratitude for small things translates to big gratitude in general. Relationships get better and deeper. Quert is a card of happiness and contentment.
For the Outcome, you drew Fearn or Bridge ill-dignified. There may be someone you looked up to who ends up disappointing you or a hard transition to new things this month. Fearn can mean a crisis of competence and difficulty getting the help you need.
Outlook for the year
Date: 2022-01-03 03:28 pm (UTC)We made our new year visit to the local shrine today. Being the 3rd rather than the 1st day of the year it was quiet with no pressure to hurry while praying and listening. Also got a talisman (おふだ) for the house from the shrine. Look forward to this every year.

For the You card, they provide Beith or Intention. You know your direction this year and you put in the proper energy and investment. You are able to separate what is truly important and because of that focus, you do very well.
For the Situation, you drew Ur or Intimacy. You have wonderful and deep connections with loved ones. The bonds you have help you to face adversity and to weather storms.
For the Outcome, you drew Uilleand or Generosity. You strike a balance with how much you give and how much you receive this year. This understanding of abundance, once achieved, means that any tip of the balance towards the giving side will result in a sevenfold (or more) return as your generosity sublimates through the planes.

For the You position, they give you Ur or Intimacy well-dignified, which is to say you are in a good place to resume the Path. Your number one challenge will be learning to trust the non-corporeal guides you encounter. This is a matter of tuning in much like a radio band. You learn to find a place of stillness and discern who is giving you a message. There is a lot of noise you have to tune out to get that signal.
For the Situation, you drew Straif or Strife ill-dignified. You have to find a constructive way of dealing with your stress. I personally have found a great deal of benefit in journaling and discursive meditation -- between those two and the Sphere of Protection, my armor is much thicker.
For the Outcome, you drew Ioho or Grace well-dignified. Ioho is a mystical card and talks about you having natural talent as a seer. Ioho is also a card of talking to the dead and helping them let go so they can go to the Gates. Do you find you have any talent for talking with the deceased?

Date: 2022-01-03 08:25 pm (UTC)I've recently become aware of two upcoming opportunities to take part in peaceful demonstrations against medical mandates, vaccine passports, and the like. One is closer both temporally and physically-- it's this week, and just a couple of hours' drive away. The other is roughly a day's drive away, and several weeks away. Not sure that I would drive to either, but it's possible.
What do your Ogham say about my taking part in these events? I feel that I ought to, but I enjoy being a homebody and both would inconvenience me. Perhaps I've just answered my own question.... Thanks for this. Very interested in what your reading will say.

For the one that is further away, they give Muin or Harvest ill-dignified, meaning that the protest won't achieve its goals and that going there will not be a good use of your time.
Maybe consider doing a more introverted way of fighting, for instance starting a Speakeasy social media group like the one I have that connects people of like mind and creates a gray/black market so the unquaxxed can get what they need.

One is the lack of Transcendence, which means difficulties that are hard to get around, depression, or inconveniences that make it less enjoyable. If there is too much Transcendence, it may mean that troubles keep coming just as you think they are over. Be ready for anything would be my advice!
