That makes a great deal of sense, actually. Neptune in Pisces would explain the rush towards onethink at all costs. Neptune is the opposite of "You do you". It wants hegemony and when it can't get it the normal or fair way, it is more than happy to force it and cheat.
I suspect this is how the Saturn-Neptune cycle works. Neptune wants to unify, Saturn wants to concretize. So we have the Saturn-Neptune cycles which herald what might be called "social eras":
Saturn-Neptune in Aquarius, 1846-1882 - All about revolutions and the breakdowns of the old order, with the Industrial Revolution really kicking into full gear.
Saturn-Neptune in Taurus, 1882-1917 - All about money, banks, and land. The Gilded Age, the height of European imperialism, etc.
Saturn-Neptune in Leo, 1917-1953 - All about great leaders making their mark on history - FDR, Hitler, etc. Charismatic leadership and personalities.
Saturn-Neptune in Libra, 1953-1989 - The Cold War and the "balance" of power, as well as all the civil rights movements. Decolonization and democratization.
Saturn-Neptune in Capricorn, 1989-February 2026 - All about structure, control, and risk-aversion. Litigiousness. Everything must align, everything must fall within the one system to rule them all.
Saturn-Neptune in Aries, 2026-2061 - Unknown, obviously; it's yet to come - but based on it being in Aries, I'd expect an emphasis on Aries themes - hard power as opposed to soft, the return of courage and risk-taking as opposed to risk-aversion.
...Then on top of this we have to add where the outer planets actually are during all of this. Neptune in Pisces during a Capricorn social era amplifies the push for the One True Way, amplifies religious sensibilities even if those possessing them don't recognize them as religious, etc.
