Ogham Readings on Mondays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. For this week, you drew three tree-letters.

For your You or most immediate position, you drew Duir (Oak) ill-dignified. Duir doesn't have a bad side. It means Gifts. When it is ill-dignified, it means that you are or will be the recipient of gifts and privileges. It's a great week to think deeply about how lucky you are and to try to brainstorm the best ways of paying forward, because if you do so, your gifts and privileges will multiply by at least seven times.

For the middle or Situation position, you drew Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified. This means that you or someone close to you (maybe the baby?) is benefiting from the spirit of generosity that hovers near. True generosity, of course, isn't just material. Once again, this is a card of sublimation -- that which is given will return seven times in seven (or more) forms.

For the Karma or end position, you drew Luis or Protection well-dignified. Luis is the card of the Holy Guardian Angel, which has many names depending on your tradition. I believe in Haiti they call it the Loa and in some Native American cultures they call it the Manatu. This is a good week to reach out to the baby's Holy Guardian Angel in reverence and recognition through prayer.
