This week doesn't look pleasant, however, it will be a necessary trial that will most likely bring in a good future.

You drew three cards.

The first is Quert (Apple) or Delight ill-dignified in the You position. This means that you will feel rushed, fearful, and anxious. Quert reminds you to be grateful for the small things most people take for granted and to above all maintain your sense of humor.

The Situation position is Huath (Sycamore) or Obstacles well-dignified. This is the trial that other people are putting you through. The well-dignified position indicates that you will prevail and that the rewards will be sweet. Unfortunately because it is Huath, it means it will be difficult and that you'll have to act as your own hero. There is only one way you can go and that is through.

The final card or Outcome is Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified. Generosity with conditions is not true generosity, for instance, the religious organizations that go to countries where people are starving and then make conversion to their religion the condition of receiving food assistance. This is a lesson being presented to you, which is why it is in the karma position of the reading.

Take this with a grain of salt, of course. My Ogham say No, you should not. They give me Gort (Ivy or Bindweed) ill-dignified. In my system, Gort means Perseverance. The imbalance I believe they are pointing out is that going into a monastery will interfere with your spiritual perseverance somehow. I'm not sure exactly how this applies, so of course you will have to meditate on it. They could be saying that you have karmic lessons to learn that cannot be learned as a monk, so unfortunately that means you have to duke it out in the regular, non-monastery world during this incarnation.

Hi,

This is another one to take with a grain of salt. They give me Saille ill-dignified. Saille (Willow) means Sensitivity and indicates that there is an imbalance between the two of you. Either you are not sensitive enough to her needs or she to yours or a combination of both. There is also the idea of being either too inflexible or too pliant and that's not great long term. For instance, my husband and I have had disagreements ranging on everything from personality style conflicts to finances that have nearly destroyed our relationship on multiple occasions. Obviously they've never gotten the best of our relationship (we've been married 21 years) but there has been rocky sailing, not gonna lie. One thing you want to get out of the way before you get married are the dealbreakers: if she wants kids and you do not or vice a versa, that's a dealbreaker. Or let's say one partner wants an open marriage and the other does not. Or one wants to chase being super-wealthy and the other would rather live simply. Even without any of those things, marriage is hard!

Remember that the Ogham are a gentle method of divination and never give hard and fast pronouncements -- what they are saying is that until you both work on sensitivity concerns and learn to more properly adapt to each other, it won't be a relationship that will last the ages. Once you've worked on those things, please do ask again if "we should get married" and perhaps they will have a different answer.

For the first in the You position, they give me Quert (Apple) or Delight, ill-dignified. This means that you'll have a bit of a trying week. It's going to be tempting to take the little things for granted and let life pass you by because it feels like a slog. Don't do that. Instead, take the time to appreciate the small stuff most people take for granted, such as clean water to drink and to bathe in and the happiness you get from others.

For the middle position, you got Oír or Epiphany well-dignified. This means that you or someone very close to you will find a great workaround this week and/or have a realization that dramatically improves your/their life.

For the final Karma or Outcome position, you drew Mór or Sea Change well-dignified. Your general outlook is about to become more rosy, and because it is Mór it is not something that you can control or direct. Just ride the wave.

This week, the Ogham give me three cards for you.

For the You position, they give me Ioho (Yew) or Grace ill-dignified. This card, when imbalanced, for me often means I'm working too hard or not hard enough. In my case, 95% of the time it's working too hard (I'm a workaholic). It can also mean not letting go of something gracefully: is there any futile area of life where you are like a dog with a bone, worrying about it constantly, and you'd be better off letting it go?

For the middle Situation position, they give me Coll (Hazelnut) or Wisdom well-dignified. You or someone close to you will act very wisely this week. Coll has an aspect of being earned -- it's not a handout given to people unwilling to do the grunt work.

For the final position, they give me Oír (Spindle) or Epiphany well-dignified. You'll have a realization that enables you to move with the current that leads to prosperity and well-being.

Hi Kimberly. Thanks for your reading last week. On an unrelated note, I hope they open up the border soon, in case you can get your husband's insulin in Canada. Can you read my week? I did have a good date, as your reading implied, the conversation flowed really naturally, and I loved her positivity. Work has kind of gotten slower again, I'm not sure why. Starting tomorrow we're allowing intra-provincial travel, so it wouldn't surprise me if this week at work was slower, merely because everyone with money and time off is lounging in some backwoods area of BC. Granted, maybe backwoods bumpkins will be vacationing in Vancouver, one can always hope. The only negative is last week I hurt my "boys," while squatting to turn off a fake plastic candle (gonna have to start bending at the waist) and I have a cold (and unless it gets much worse, I'm sure as hell not gonna get a COVID test!).

My Ogham predict a "meh" week for you. They give me three ill-dignified cards.

The first card they give me for the You position is Nuin or Communication. You'll either have an imbalance of the greater world asking too much of you or feeling not recognized enough by the greater world. If there's any talent for which you'd like to become well-known, it won't be recognized this week. You might have the desire but the world won't match it. Nuin can also point to general communication with the larger world being impeded this week, such as when the internet goes down or you don't see the news you want to see because of censorship.

The second card they give me for your Situation position is Phagos or Teaching. You won't be able to share or access teaching-level knowledge this week. This could also apply to someone in your inner circle. I am a teacher, so I often draw Phagos ill-dignified in the Situation position when lots of students cancel (me not being able to spread my knowledge).

For the final position, you got Muin or Harvest. You might be tempted to rush things and bring in a harvest that's not ready. The Ogham are suggesting you resist that urge. It's also possible that you'll be tempted to overdo it and end up with a hangover. I'm a total square, so for me, overdoing it means having 2.5 beers and staying out past nine!

LOL I'm glad I don't have those hanging off me this time around. Not that being a woman is easy -- it isn't -- but thank Athena we don't have dangles to consider every time we squat. Most people are both zinc and Vitamin D deficient, which is an open door to colds and flus. I rely on Vitamin D supplements every day plus I take oral zinc lozenges, which are like cough drops but with a bit of zinc in them that are supposed to shorten the duration of colds/flus. I eat one of them a day even when I'm not feeling sick, always after meals as they can cause nausea otherwise. If I feel a cold or flu trying to come on, I'll eat 3 of them a day.

In the You position, you drew Saille (Willow) ill-dignified. Saille means Sensitivity. Since this is in the You position, it is trying to warn you of either being insensitive or overly sensitive this week. To be insensitive is to take a bull in a china shop approach or to ignore other people or something in the environment that is trying to tell you something. To be overly sensitive is to make much ado about nothing or to feel raw and exposed with a need to toughen up.

For the Situation position, you drew Duir (Oak) ill-dignified. You or someone very close to you will either be the recipient or the grantor of generosity, meaning you will either be in debt because of an act of generosity or someone will be put in your debt this week. For me, Duir ill-dignified tends to take some goofy forms, such as when I make a student happy by giving them a toy.

For the Outcome position, you drew Ruis (Elder) well-dignified. Ruis means Regret and drawing it well-dignified means your karma this week will involve the benefit of having been around the block a few times. You'll be able to avoid saying the wrong thing or making a dumb/bad decision (or some equivalent) because of the memory of lessons learned the hard way in the past.

My Ogham are quite clearly pro-cutting ties with them. They give me Quert (Apple) well-dignified if you cut them out. Quert is a tree letter of good humor and the appreciation of little things that make up the good life. It's sad that cutting off one's own family would ever lead to the best outcome for anyone, but they are saying that for you it's the best choice in no uncertain terms.

The first card they give me is Phagos in the You position. Phagos implies mastery in a field in the mental plane; it's mastery that's good enough to become a teacher. You'll have the opportunity to use or a field in which you are expert this week. It's a good week to figure out what that is and to text the extent of your knowledge in the area. Keep in mind it doesn't necessarily have to be an academic subject. For instance, I am an expert in Music Theory but I've also got the basics of home cooking down pat.

For the middle Situation position, you drew Onn or Community. You or someone close to you will have a week where your niche in the world is clear. You will be able to clearly see your role as a cog in the local machine as well as your potential areas of leadership and excellence.

This might not be a good time to give notice. My Ogham give me Mór, or Sea Change, ill-dignified, meaning it would bring on big changes that would not be for the better for you.
