Ogham Readings on Mondays
May. 30th, 2021 09:54 pmSubmit your question or request for a general "what's up this week" reading and I will be happy to oblige!

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. Please only donate if you can absolutely afford it. I've been there. Your prayers for my continued success are welcome whether you donate or not!

Date: 2021-06-01 02:50 am (UTC)This week looks a bit rough for you.
They give me three cards. For the You position, they give me Tinne or Defense ill-dignified, which means that you will either be vulnerable this week or overly paranoid or some mixture of both. Tinne can also point to needing a health boost, so make sure to get fresh air and exercise this week, and take special care to generally guard your health and safety.
For the Situation position, they give me Coll or Wisdom, ill-dignified. This is warning that true wisdom must be earned. In the myth of Ceridwen and Taliesin, Ceridwen employs Gwion as a servant to stir a cauldron of stew. The purpose of the stew is to feed it to her son Morfran, who will become wise upon eating it. After stirring the cauldron for a long, long time, Gwion by accident ends up eating a little of the stew and becomes wise. I interpret this story as being about nepotism: the poor kid who ends up as the great bard Taliesin because he was willing to do the work (symbolized by stew-stirring) and the dumb son was lost to history because he sat around and twiddled his thumbs waiting for Mommy's potion to make him wise.
For the final position, they give me Phagos or Teaching. It is your karma to learn a mental plane concept wholly to the point where you can teach it. If you do this, there will be huge rewards for it in the long run. In my life, the thing I was tasked to learn was Music Theory -- meaning, the ability to hear a tune and notate it within a few seconds. This has to do with lots of past life drama I needn't go into. The relevant part is that a life spent in Music Theory, along with other gifts, helped me to resolve a bunch of my own karma and to generate good karma for my future.
