Ogham Readings on Mondays
Dec. 27th, 2020 11:57 pmSubmit your question or request for a general "what's up this week" reading and I will be happy to oblige!

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. Please only donate if you can absolutely afford it. I've been there. Your prayers for my continued success are welcome whether you donate or not!

Thanks!

Date: 2020-12-29 06:09 am (UTC)My Ogham give me three cards for you in 2021. The first is Muin, Harvest, ill-dignified in the You position. This means you'll be working on a "long game" kind of project that will not come into fruition as soon as you would like. Still, the development stage is important.
The second card they give me is Tinne or Holly (Defense) well-dignified in the Situation position. This means that you and your family will be resilient and have strong defenses against adversity. Nevertheless, if you draw Tinne it means be on your guard for outside factors that pose a threat to you and your family.
The third card, which is Outcome or karmic lesson is Phagos. Phagos means gaining complete knowledge of a thing; enough knowledge to teach someone else about it. You will gain a certain knowing. Whether that's good or bad is too complicated to answer -- invariably because it's in a karma position it is likely a bit of both.
Business in 2021

Date: 2020-12-29 06:13 am (UTC)For you I did a two card reading. The Ogham say Yes, there are definitely actions you can take to help people you serve. The first card they give me is Straif (Blackthorn) or Strife which means essentially that which does not kill you will make you stronger. The second is Quert (Apple), or Celebration, which means that no matter how bad things get, you can help people by demonstrating gratitude and leading by example by not allowing adverse circumstances to diminish your inner core/your light.

Date: 2020-12-29 12:18 am (UTC)What kind of books are you looking to have for your subscription library? Any particular genre or author focus?
Ogham question- I ran into a bit of an obnoxious astral or etheric parasite being while out in public yesterday. Is there any sludge still left on myself or those in my household?

Date: 2020-12-29 06:23 am (UTC)I'll take any and all books! I myself tend to like the occult books, 19th century fiction, any of the old stuff by Time-Life, art books, and memoirs.
As for the sludge, it's a Yes, and you need to take protective measures. They give me Ailm or Transcendence, well-dignified so it is saying yes, you need to do some natural magic at the very minimum to take care of that. My suggestion is to put up a geometric design/designs near all of the sleeping areas. I was going to post about doing this on JMG's Magic Monday but I got all wrapped up in other things and had no time to post it.
Personally, I found a free geometric spiral design at Canva.com that looks a great deal like one of those Spirograph designs (if anyone remembers that vintage toy I'll be surprised) and put it up next to my bed. It works as well as vinegar and salt. Personally, I'm sensitive enough these days to feel the energy it puts into my bedroom and I definitely recommend it. My thoughts are that a double pentagram, hexagram, or hexafoil would also do the job.

Date: 2020-12-30 08:18 pm (UTC)When you think of the way a geometric pattern makes the eye move: swirly or in the shape of a repeat, I think of it as moving the imagination and not just the eye. A demon is most powerful on the astral plane, so if you get their attention with one of those patterns, they can get bound up in it because not only does it distract them, it moves their energy into itself and locks them in a holding pattern. This, I believe, is the reason why Muslims have the prohibition about drawing Allah and why they instead fill their living and worship spaces with symmetrical mosaics and geometric patterns and lines. A mandala or even a henna design works in the same protective fashion. I think macrame might also do it, but if you put a bunch of knots in the bedroom I suspect it would not be good for one's sex life. It's probably a better idea to keep macrame out of the sleeping area unless you are too old or too young to be doing the horizontal pokey.
As for the spiral, just go to Canva.com and type in "geometry" or "geometric" in the image search engine. Then save image and print it out on regular printer paper and put it somewhere near the bed.
