Hi Kimberly

I'm hoping that you can help me with some divination's on romantic potentials in my near future. I'm hesitant to do direct divination myself due to my emotional involvement and don't feel confident in being able to get clear readings.

I've had a few Synchronicities that make me think certain things, would you be interested in having a go and then comparing notes, or would you prefer more detail and then doing a reading on key points?

I'm approaching signs and divination as indications of loaded dice not certainty of outcome and expect to need to work at things whatever indications I see or where things go.

Hi Sea Spray,

I did a general 3 card reading as a prognosis of your general love climate:

The You position gives me Muin or Grapevine ill-dignifed, which tells me that there is something romantic in the works out there for you that is not near its fruition. You are still in the development stages of crafting the outlook that will attract the right mate.

The Situation card gives me Straif or Blackthorn ill-dignified. This tells me the Situation is one of two imbalances, either you suffer from a lack of self-confidence and the idea that it's a predicament that cannot be improved by working on it or you suffer from being combative. The Outcome card is Gort, which is Ivy or Perseverance, ill-dignified. This means that the path to finding romance will not be easy at all. It's one of two imbalances: One is that that pickings are slim and the right person isn't available. It could also mean that you attract a bounty of the wrong people. I know this was always the case for me when I was single: I wasn't choosy enough and ended up in long-term relationships with men I didn't want because I was initially too nice to turn them down. Once I had gotten attached to them, my loneliness and sadness would weaken my will to break up with them. The result was that I ended up absolutely miserable, longing to be with a person who was more in tune with what I wanted.

Regarding the situation card I agree that it's a lack of self self-confidence rather than being combative. I hate confrontation. While the outcome is defiantly the slim pickings one.

I left an abusive relationship in February and have been praying to Aphrodite to help me find the right love for me.

I've got repeated Ogham divination's over the year telling me to sit tight and wait. The most recent was "What do I most need to know now?" Past: Huath, Present: Gort, Potential: Muin reversed. Which I took to mean that I've now started moving though it will take a long time so don't stress out about it.

I am renewing a friendship with a girl I knew years ago, Lets call her "L" and I'm hopeful thanks to a few synchronicities, including the above divination, but think I need to be very patent and let things go at their own pace. I don't know of her having been in any relationships and she's in her late 20's so I'm not expecting anything to happen fast.

Is it possible for this to be the "something in the works"? Can the Gort reversed mean that they're not yet emotionally available, but could become so?

I'm hesitant to ask if L will be the One but could I ask if the cards have any "focus on this" type advice going forward? As long as it's not a hassle!

I prayed to Bastet for you cats and our ones here, I definitely felt her listening! One of ours is having kittens!

Gort means Perseverance and because you got it in combination with Muin more than once points to something being in the works that isn't ripe yet. I wouldn't try to figure out exactly what it is. Instead, work on analyzing the abusive relationship through discursive meditation and keep praying to Aphrodite to provide guidance on how you can make yourself more lovable and a better candidate for a love relationship. Since writing her Orphic Hymn, I have connected with Aphrodite. I won't presume I can speak for her, but for whatever reason it popped into my mind how often those of us of a certain age neglect our appearance and our health because we underestimate the importance of beauty, especially where first impressions are concerned. You never know who might pop into your life and if you are looking for a mate, it is imperative to put effort into seduction, even at the age where we are tempted to shove it all aside as nonsense. I'm not saying be fake or present a show with no substance, I am just saying to do things you would do if you were trying to impress a potential mate, because that tells Aphrodite you're serious. I have always liked the controversial books by Robert Greene/Joost Elffers The Art of Seduction and 48 Laws of Power. They're entertaining from a historian's perspective, if nothing else.

What do I need to know this week?

Hi,

This week looks complicated.

The first card I drew signifying You was Coll, which is Hazelnut or Wisdom, ill-dignified. This means there will be one of two imbalances: the temptation to say too much or too little. Saying too much can take many forms. One is pearls before swine, wasting words on people who will never get it. Another could be simply shooting one's mouth off, which is a habit I have a great deal of experience with. Saying too little could mean not asking the right questions and not analyzing signs that have been put in front of you for a reason.

The second card is Oir, which means Spindle or Epiphany. The Situation at hand is that you should expect an epiphany this week, for better or for worse.

The lesson of all of this or the third card is Phagos, which means Beech or Teaching. This card means that the Lesson of all of this relates to a discipline you must master or already have mastered, and this doesn't necessarily mean it is a practical discipline like Math or Carpentry. It can often refer to a realm of sensitivity. For me, Phagos as my karma is usually talking about me being a music teacher. It was my karma to become an extremely good music teacher in this lifetime.

Hmm, the tunnel dreams seem to be good omens for you.

My Ogham gave me three well-dignified cards for your tunnel dreams.

For the first one, they give me Saille or Willow. Saille is Sensitivity. The tunnel, though it may be scary, is a way of getting where you need to be, literally and metaphorically. I think it means to act in constant gratitude of those who built the passageway for you to succeed on your journey.

The second card they give me is Huath, which is Hawthorn, or Obstacles. This tells me that the tunnel dream warns you of an upcoming obstacle so you have time to think about the challenge ahead and prepare. This is not an edge most people have.

The third card they give me is Luis, which is your Holy Guardian Angel. You are protected and blessed.

Hi Anon,

It's a "Yes, but" from my Ogham.

They give me Ruis, which means Yes, and also it means Regret. I take this to say you should at least look into studying another system before making your final decision on the DMH. I take this to mean that you might consider doing a different system of magic for the next few years, completing it, and then moving on to the DMH. Personally, I considered the Celtic Golden Dawn before deciding on DMH, and over time I figured out the DMH was my best route. Each system of magic has its own main preferred method of doing divination, so maybe look into what type of divination appeals to you the most and then see which magic method uses it? Just a suggestion.

Hi, my Ogham give me Saille well-dignified, which is Willow or Sensitivity. This is to say that one or both of you are sensitives, so the spirit was attracted to you mostly because you had the ability to know it was there. Most people tune that stuff out or are frightened of it. Spirits are like cats: some of them only want to mind their own business and others like the attention.

Hi, for your first question, my Ogham say it is beyond their limit for me to answer that. They give me Eadha, which is Aspen or Limits, ill-dignified. This could also point to getting the position and another factor blocking you from going.

They say that if you do get it, and it is unlikely you will, that it will cause you to have many learning/growing experiences, many of which will be forced and painful. They give me Oir which is Epiphany and Huath ill-dignified, which means either trying to force a thing that cannot be forced or not being up to the task.

Hi Lady CK,

My Ogham give me Straif, or Strife ill-dignified for the You position, so that means it won't be easy this week. Nevertheless, in the Situation position, they give me Quert or Apple and that means you'll have something to celebrate and be delighted about. In the third position, they seem to be gently chiding you about neatness/orderliness with Ngetal or Cleaning ill-dignified, however, Ngetal also can indicate you've got to take special care of your health this week, making sure to get in some mild exercise, fresh air, and nurturing time for yourself.

Recently I found out some wrongdoings in my job. I found those shenanigans because some people who strongly dislike me tried to blame me.
Is it a good idea to report it outside my workplace? (I'm thinking on prosecutor office.) If I denounce in this way, would it backfire against me?

Hi, my Ogham say No, you should not report it outside your workplace. They give me Onn, which is Community, ill-dignified. They give me Eadha for "Should it be reported to the prosecutor's office" ill-dignified, so that is also a No. Thirdly, they say Yes, there will be blowback in the form of Tinne, meaning that they will force you on the defense if you report it. When I ask, "What should Edu do about this?" they give me Nuin, which is Communication, ill-dignified. The Ogham are clear: you should remain quite silent about these affairs, but I don't think that means taking it on the chin. This means that you should appeal to one or several gods who deal with communication, as it is possible this event is the working out of some karma for you. Hermes, Mercury, Odin, Thoth, or Hu are all ones I would suggest. Maybe pray to them for guidance while doing some planetary honoring and/or charity to Mercury and see what happens.

Oh, currently, my job is as gloomy as Hitler's bunker and I wish it was a chance to tilt the situation to my side. Clearly it wasn't.

Sure, pray to Bast.

Or help me figure out how to set up the right devotional altar to Lady Bast, or maybe to Lady Freya, who is also a goddess of cats. I’m thinking Freya may be the right goddess because a crow spoke to me during my SoP (I do it in the garden in the morning) and Freya wears a cloak of crow feathers.
