Ogham Readings on Saturdays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones (all of them are basically combos of 4 cards):

 

-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading

-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

I am happy to do Ogham readings confidentially via emails -- just email me at k steele studio at gmail during the allotted time/before deadline. I cannot answer health questions. If you have a question about health or another sensitive, private matter, provide a bunch of non-identifying information and the Ogham will be able to figure it out even if I don't. I'm serious... the Ogham actually tend to "know" things without me being privy to what is going on.

Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break.

My next planned break is from December 18 - January 8.

I take reading requests from whenever this post goes up on Friday night until 8pm US Central Time Saturday.

My Ogham like that very much for you. They provide three cards, all well-dignified.

For the You position, they provide Beith or Intention well-dignified. You are being guided towards this and it is also in line with your intentions, meaning it is easy to stay on track and you are not distracted by unimportant aspects that would slow you down or impede your progress.

For the Situation, they give Ailm or Transcendence. There will be hurdles, but you will have an intuitive grasp of how to get over them when the going gets rough. There are helpful people and helpful examples that make this path easier.

For the Outcome, you drew Gort or Perseverance. This is a sustainable, solid, long term choice for you. This may not be lucrative, but it can provide a stable, steady income and professional specialization that helps without pigeonholing you into an impractical niche.

To review: These past two weeks have been a tide, coming in depositing things, and coming out taking things. That which has come in favorably is that which helps repair what is already there, and things that came in that were not meant to be were beheld in the pause before being let go in the outgoing tide.

In that pause, I managed to move very little, with the shifting tidal landscape doing most of the moving.

To ask: What is it that I need to know this week, according to the Ogham?

Thanks for the observations! You drew three cards this week.

For the You position, you drew Tinne or Defense well-dignified. Tinne is a danger card in my Ogham in any dignity, so please take extra precautions and don't do anything risky this week. Other than that, Tinne refers to a healthy sense of boundaries. You are not rude or even defensive unless the situation demands it; compare more imbalanced responses in your own past. You are defended where it truly counts.

For the Situation, you drew Oír or Epiphany ill-dignified. There is a realization you need to have you may be avoiding. Look for dissonance and unpleasantness and analyze it in discursive meditation. Because this is in Situation, you may have to deal with someone who is close to you who is going about something very cluelessly. You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink.

For the Outcome, you drew Coll or Wisdom well-dignified. Primarily, this is a card of shutting up at the right time, and that is the Ogham's main advice -- not to open your mouth lest you put your foot in it. It also points to true insight and brutal self-honesty on your part, which is necessary for growth and self-realization.

Hi Kimberly, at some point I will need to invest some money into upkeep for the work I'm doing. World economic circumstances lead me to think it may be best to do this spending soon, before things can get worse. However, I'm wary of situations leading me to think I must act now, when the circumstances are unfavorable compared to the past, because conditions may improve later. What do the Ogham think? Is time not on my side so I should act sooner? Or will I be better off waiting for more favorable conditions? Thank you.

My Ogham give Oir or Epiphany ill-dignified for your first request, "What do the Ogham think?" They think that you are being unduly influenced by forces that do not have your best interests at heart. It sucks, because they think you need to re-assess this whole situation top to bottom.

As for acting now, they say not to do it. They give Ioho or Grace ill-dignified, meaning there is something that needs to be released because to hold on to it creates friction, dead weight, and sorrow.

As for waiting for more favorable conditions, they say Yes. They give Huath or Obstacles, which means certain barriers that make this spending problematic now will be easier to go around or move of the way without the kind of force it would take if you did it right now.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I can concur -- usually when I get an all well-dignified reading, it is the Ogham's way of saying "You are going to have to beat lead into gold this week, turn water into wine, and transform s**t into fine, nutrient dense compost... Good luck!"

For the You card, you drew Mór or Sea Change well-dignified. The astral weather is a little less mucky around you, and this provides clear visions of the future and past depending on how much spiritual work you have done and are willing to do. It's a good opportunity to make long term plans and make big purchases.

For the Situation, you drew Eadha or Limits ill-dignified. You'll have to draw strict boundaries around yourself and your time this week and perhaps help loved ones to do the same. Frustration with day to day life and worry rear their evil heads. Actively replace worried or anxious thoughts with gratitude and prayer.

For the Outcome, you drew Luis or Protection ill-dignified. Luis is one of my Ogham's danger cards, and especially in this dignity, I urge you to be extra careful and watchful. Other than that, it can mean feeling the pull of old, negative behaviors, worrying overtime, and wanting to slip back into bad habits. You'll have to exact great diligence of yourself this week.

1-2. I want to get back into gardening, but we entering winter here in the States. Should I take more time to experiment with winter gardening nevertheless? Or should I try growing more container plants inside?

My Ogham like winter gardening for you and they think you should experiment as much as possible. They give Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified, indicating you'll have some divine help for your efforts and that it will be a good way of connecting to holy beings.

As for more container plants, they seem to think you have enough for the moment. They give Ailm or Transcendence ill-dignified, which means that indoor gardening skills won't be quite as interesting as going outside and doing it. I am going to presume they want you to learn about winter foraging as well.

Hi Patrick,

You drew three cards this week.

For the You card, you drew Ur or Intimacy well-dignified. This card, much like Coll or Wisdom, is always a warning to keep your mouth shut at the right time, no matter what the dignity. Other than that, it is praising your intuition and tact. The only kind of honesty that needs to be whole and brutal is self-honesty (beating yourself up is not self-honesty, it's self-scapegoating). For everyone else, even the closest of the close, curated masks are soul-level kindness.

For the Situation, you drew Beith or Intention well-dignified. You've learned to strip away the excess when you are going for something you want. It is this ability to focus that enables you to have any decent shot at it. It means you must leave a great deal out, and the pain of pruning is sharp. Still, it is the necessary price of achievement.

For the Outcome, you drew Saille or Sensitivity ill-dignified. The most common condition of our time, etheric starvation, may have you in its pincers this week. Remedy this by getting sunlight and being near open flames, even if it is only a burning candle. Take beneficial herbs (I swear by nettle and uva ursi) and get plenty of rest. Throwing or giving away clutter can also help the condition of etheric starvation, which causes oversensitivity and its opposite imbalance, insensitivity.

My Ogham like A. For their general opinion of her, they give Beith or Intention well-dignified. She is a decent person with a good sense of self. She had good intentions towards others for the most part and a strong personality.

For the trouble she's had recently, they say she is on top of it. They give Ailm or Transcendence well-dignified, meaning she has it handled and she is in the right.

For the "Does ELD have a potential shot at A?" question, they say maybe. They give Quert or Delight well-dignified, meaning keep your sense of humor, proceed with low expectations, and be very casual. She is a friendly person and you should try to keep her on your side as an ally, if nothing else.

A friend and I did some business in a shop in our city last Monday, and have learned that someone was apparently casing out her neighborhood around the time I dropped her off. I have three questions for the Ogham, please:

Were we followed to my friend’s house from that place of business?

If yes, how concerned should we be?

What action, if any, should we take to protect ourselves?

My Ogham say you were not followed from the place of business. They give Eadha or Limits ill-dignified, which is not a good sign. It implies that someone may have wanted to follow you but was frustrated in that intention.

My Ogham say you should be concerned. They give Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified, indicating you and your friend have some divine protection, but there may be someone eyeing you as a source of wealth.

For what action you might take to protect yourselves, they give Phagos or Teaching well-dignified. Networking with anyone with cameras in the neighborhood, warning people around you, and educating yourselves on the mindset of criminals and stalkers is your best bet.

Hi Misty,

They give you four cards:

For A, they give Luis or Protection ill-dignified, meaning if there was any influence, it was ignored by those who were not ready for it anyway. There is an implied race to the bottom and ignorance of the higher consciousness or Holy Guardian Angel, plus potential danger.

For B, they give Fearn or Bridge well-dignified, showing a positive influence that helped make connections for E and others and helping better patterns to emerge from seeming chaos.

For C, they give C, Muin or Harvest ill-dignified. There are some that cannot be helped. The wheels are still spinning and going nowhere.

For D, they give Duir or Gifts well-dignified. Positive influence was the result of being kind, generous,and giving and modeling by example rather than shouting.
