I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones (all of them are basically combos of 4 cards):
-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading
-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

I am happy to do Ogham readings confidentially via email -- just email me at k steele studio at gmail during the allotted time/before deadline. I cannot answer health questions. If you have a question about health or another sensitive, private matter, provide a bunch of non-identifying information and the Ogham will be able to figure it out even if I don't. I'm serious... the Ogham actually tend to "know" things without me being privy to what is going on.
Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break.

For the You position, they give Luis or Protection ill-dignified. Your safety must come first -- if a neighborhood gives you the heebie jeebies or something seems off with a place or living situation, steer clear.
For the Situation, you drew Koad or Confluence well-dignified. The fates are on your side and you will find something suitable if you keep up your search. Various factors align to put you in the right place at the right time.
For the Outcome, they provide Eadha or Limits well-dignified. You are good at working within limits, so this particular exercise is no different. Know what your deal breakers are going in: price caps, amenities or lack thereof, and location issues, and make the most of what you can do inside those limits. The ideal won't happen but you can get reasonably close.

All ill-dignified readings are not a portent of doom, however they can be a warning about a negative or ungrateful attitude from yourself or others in your circle that casts a bad light even upon positive happenings.
For the You card, you drew Onn or Community. When someone asks you a favor, respond with "I'll think about it" and not an immediate "Yes". Don't sell yourself short or too cheaply. Also, don't expect more of your community than it can reasonably give. Neighbors, co-workers, friends, and relatives can be very annoying; that is just the nature of community.
For the Situation, you drew Coll or Wisdom. Straight out of the gate, this card is always a warning to shut up when there is doubt whether or not you should speak. This is also a warning that the drive for unearned wisdom is similar to the drive for unearned wealth -- there is only one way of getting wisdom, and it is neither fast nor easy.
For the Outcome, you drew Phagos or Teaching. This is yet another warning to remain silent at the right time. Letting it all hang out is highly, highly overrated. We can shut the door when we pee and poop, including in front of the spouse who has seen us at our worst. We can hold our temper when we are very irritated and save the conversation (or the scolding) for another time when a cooler head prevails. We can be humble in knowing we are not gods or demigods and leave the fools to their pallid, delusional imitations of those powers.
Time to Move?

This week I am focused on trying to move away from our area. The construction and traffic in our area has become unmanageable and appears that it will only grow. Our peaceful street may be about to turn into a construction zone. Last weekend our neighbor cut down 40 trees that have been growing for 25 years, my heart still hurts for the habitat he destroyed.
Here are my questions for your Ogham.
A) Will Mr. D be successful in selling his land? If so, is X in our best interest?
B) What do you Ogham say about selling SF?
C) What do you Ogham say about FD?

Date: 2025-09-07 01:33 am (UTC)I am so sorry to hear about the trees. We live in an age of severe ecological retardation. I have watched the middle/working class neighborhood where I grew up become an elite, upper middle class enclave. The houses are all 4-6x as larger than back in the day. There are still birds and bees, but nowhere near as many as when I was a child because of all the chemical lawns, additions, felled trees, and wetland drainage. This is an era we are all suffering through -- I think we will all breathe a sigh of relief when it is over. As much as it seems this time will never end, there will be a day when the last plane falls from the sky, the last truck rolls to a stop on the last crumbling highway, and when satellites are inert orbital junk. Though it will be profoundly sad because the internet will dry up like morning dew, it will be a time of majestic renewal and return for the Earth. I am confident we will have to wait at least 300 years for the age of Happy Motoring to completely wrap and for wilderness to get a leg up again. I think people will keep primitive internet up longer than that but I could be wrong. My "sources" tell me my next incarnation will probably be as a gay Mexican man, so unfortunately I won't be able to check up on my current homeland (whenever that incarnation happens) unless something strange happens and I end up relocating to Chicagoland.
For A) they say No, he won't, at least not at his current asking price. They give Nuin or Communication ill-dignified, which is to say he may end up having a bad agent, a buyer who bails, or some other snafu where selling ends up being a royal pain.
For B) As for selling SF, they like it. They give Ngetal or Health well-dignified, meaning it would be a good limit to draw. Unloading it would be extremely smart and if priced reasonably, it will succeed.
For FD, they give Eadha or Limits well-dignified. "It is what it is". Accept it and work within its limits, making the best out of what you are given.

For the You card, they provide Gort or Perseverance well-dignified. Sticking with it is should be the name of the game this week, and you begin to see why consistency is valuable and why the Divine insists upon it. Remember that the Grand Canyon was once a few drops of water dripping on a patch of sand. Everyone has to start somewhere.
For the Situation, you drew Quert or Celebration ill-dignified. As much as straightedge abstinence is admirable, it is OK to relax a little, within limits, of course. Everyone's limits are different. Apollo gave only two items of advice for us humans: "Know thyself" and "Everything in moderation".
For the Outcome, you drew Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. Tinne is one of my Ogham's danger cards, so I utter my usual words of advice about staying unusually risk adverse this week. Other than that, Tinne talks about being either overly paranoid/defensive, not paranoid/defensive enough, or some unfortunate combination of the two. For instance, let's say I get hit with a big electric bill yet I start skipping oil changes for my car... my car ends up being a ticking time bomb of repairs that I am ignoring because of the huge electric bill.

Date: 2025-09-07 01:55 am (UTC)You drew three cards for September. All were well-dignified. As much as I would like to promise you a rose garden here, all well-dignified readings can be doozies. For instance, I drew all well-dignified cards for the year my father died. Mostly an all well-dig reading has to do with how you are prone to handle events, not the nature of those events.
For the You card, you drew Coll or Wisdom. Coll is always a warning to keep your mouth shut at the proper time. If someone asks, give them a "Maybe" or an "I'll think about it" and seldom an automatic "Yes." It seems you are aligning yourself to a higher vibe and that like attracts like. It also attracts jealous haters -- ignore them and be as weird as you want to be.
For the Situation, you drew Ur or Intimacy. There is a valuable lesson in not letting it all hang out and curating specific masks for specific people and situations. I never show all my cards, not because I'm too good to do it, but more because people, even loved ones, would not understand. There has to be a Self that is only known to the Self and everything else is an illusion.
For the Outcome, you drew Tinne or Defense. Tinne is always a danger card in my Ogham no matter what the dignity, so please take special precautions this week. Other than that, this is showing you know your boundaries and vulnerabilities. Your ego is in a balanced place, so you are not overlooking threats and you are also not inventing threats for attention or out of boredom like some do (consciously or unconsciously).

For the You card, you drew Eadha or Limits ill-dignified. Your limits are going to be pushed this week -- time, money, patience. That is Meatworld... Meatworld sucks. We cannot control how bad Meatworld sucks, however, we can control our reaction to it. This too shall pass, it's not the end of the world. There is something to be learned in it even though it sucks.
For the Situation, you drew Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. Huath is one of my Ogham's danger cards, and as this is in Situation, this danger could apply to others in your immediate circle or you, so be on high alert. Other than that, it talks about either bringing too much fire energy to the table or not enough. Keep rashness, boldness, and temper flare ups leashed and muzzled, but also be ready to have so little mojo that you take a rain check and get some needed rest.
For the Outcome, you drew Nuin or Communication ill-dignified. Simply, getting your message across is difficult this week, and others are particularly obstinate or tone deaf when it comes to your wants and needs. Other than that, it can talk about technology's diminishing returns, screen addiction or dependence, or transportation and power failures.

Date: 2025-09-07 02:06 am (UTC)My Ogham say to keep the advice to yourself for now. They give Oir or Epiphany ill-dignified, and this can mean a few things. For one, it could mean that your friend is the only one who can work out this issue. You know that saying "wherever you go, there you are"? Some people need to realize their role in their own problems (no matter how large or small) and without that realization, there is nothing anyone can say that will help them out of their jam. Another possibility is that you need to do some shadow work in order to offer truly useful advice, and of course as always I am going to suggest discursive meditation.

For the You card, they give Koad or Confluence ill-dignified. Unfortunately the timing and other aspects of this project are not lining up at the moment. In my own case, I swear I come up with at least one brilliant idea per day if not several, but my time is stretched so thin there is no way I can get to it. At least I'll never be bored!
For the Situation, you drew Beith or Intention well-dignified. This project is a solid good idea and you definitely should meditate on it and ask again about it in the future.
For the Outcome, you drew Mor or Sea ill-dignified. This is to say the general milieu right now is a dumpster fire and even a good, solid, well-intentioned project would die in that dumpster fire. Through no fault of your own, it would fail. Nevertheless, there may be a time and a place that lines up for this project, so my Ogham are going to pretend they are a Magic 8 Ball and suggest you Ask Again Later.

For the You position, you drew Beith or Intention well-dignified. Your mojo and direction are strong this week and you are in a "make it happen" kind of mood. Extras may have to be subtracted to further your goal: sacrifices always have to be made.
For the Situation, you drew Duir or Gifts well-dignified. Though this card warns us not to be spendthrifts, it is a joyous card that calls for celebration and sharing. This shows gifts and generosity being reciprocated, and of course this goes well beyond the material.
For the Outcome, you drew Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. Tinne is one of my Ogham's danger cards, especially in this dignity, so I issue my usual warning and caution not to take chances or to get lazy or sloppy when doing anything dangerous, especially driving. In my own case, driving has been so bad this week, I have had to do discursive meditation on it. Other than danger, Tinne warns about letting people or situations get a reaction they don't deserve: trolls don't deserve the dignity of a response. Sometimes, we aim our ire at those closest to us. Be careful of that.

The Devil is in the details but so is God, and when you appreciate details and give thanks for them, you magnify and sublimate them in your life. For instance, very few are grateful for working lightbulbs or indoor flushing latreens. For the You position, they provide Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified. You are generous, but not a mark or a pushover. For instance, we get lots of panhandlers in my area who come up to cars if you make eye contact at intersections. I make it a rule not to give money to panhandlers, but it does take an iron will because as a petite woman, they tend to target me despite my car being visibly unfancy and 20 years old. Generosity is always best when employed with discretion. Discreet does not mean stingy.
For the Situation, you drew Oir or Epiphany ill-dignified. There is a realization that dawns on you and it may not be pleasant. No matter what the dignity, Oir is always a positive card because it means you are being confronted with something you need to confront. Of course I will suggest discursive meditation on the themes you confront this week.
For the Outcome, you drew Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. Huath is one of my Ogham's danger cards, so I issue my usual warning about risk aversion this week and remaining on higher alert than usual about physical danger. Other than that, Huath talks about Martial force. You have to keep it in balance, not acting too rashly but also not backing away from the fights that are brought to you. Martial force is volatile and powerful like TNT. Save your TNT for when you absolutely need it.

Meaning you might be sorry you got involved with her, but it would involve lessons you both needed to learn. I don't know. You might want to flirt a little and see where it goes.

So we signed up in way A, as advised (Koad). We packed to go. And then we didn't get to go, because my husband ended up in the hospital for an emergency gallbladder removal. In a way it was lucky that we already had that bag packed.
We spent the day in the ER while they waited to check him in and then diagnosed it (took 3 scans to do so). They took it out the next morning (this morning), so I guess it was urgent. Now we're waiting for him to be cleared to come home; they say probably tomorrow.
So...for this week:
I guess I'd like a general "What's up for the fam this week?" reading, plus one specific question: Should we stick with this group and try again next week?

My gall bladder came within 30 minutes of taking me out of this incarnation when I was 27 years old, a combination of a few years on the birth control pill and wild card genetics. I was saved by a clinic physician who referred me to an ER doctor who figured out which scan to do. My best wishes for his healing and recovery.
For the You card, you drew Koad or Confluence ill-dignified. This week looks as if there will be more stymied plans, cancellations, and of course that is understandable because your husband will need everyone around him at home. Postpone everything and accept help wherever it is offered.
For the Situation, you drew Nuin or Communication ill-dignified. Doctors and medical staff may be obstinate or problematic -- be ready to take them to task. Someone in the family feels unheard or that his or her needs are not being met. Take a moment to ask everyone how they are doing and take a break wherever you can grab it. Nuin in this dignity also talks about technological failures and drawbacks as well as trouble in travel, buying, and selling.
For the Outcome, you drew Beith or Intention well-dignified. You are going to muddle through. You have your head on straight and you cannot be derailed. Things get back to normal and there is much more promise at the end of the week than the beginning.
For your group, they like it and say Yes, stick with it. They give Ailm or Transcendence well-dignified, which is to say this group is a cut above and will be a wonderful experience all around.
