Ogham Readings on Sundays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night.  Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones:

 

-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading

-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

 

Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break.

Hi Anon,

My Ogham provide Eadha or Limits ill-dignified, which means that there is could be some legal garbage going on behind the scenes, or that someone on the co-op board is reluctant, incompetent, or is stymying the process with deliberate malice. My suggestion is that you propitiate to Mercury/Hermes on Wednesdays during a waxing moon to assist the sale.

Also, I just thought of a follow-up question: Does the Ogham have anything to say about
1. Wether or not I did anything to offend Mercury
and
2. If so, what exactly it is that I did to offend Mercury?

Hi,

My Ogham say you did nothing to offend Mercury. They give Onn or Community ill-dignified, which is to say the fault lies entirely with a person on that board or one of the legal entities attached to it. That's why you should propitiate to Mercury: not because you've pissed him off, but because he can help you get around pissy people with ease and grace.

Greetings Kimberly. Thank you as always for your readings.

1. What do I need to know to make the best of this coming week?

2. For the past three weeks you gave me the reading Gort well-dig, Nuin well-dig, and Saille well-dig. This felt like a complicated time period for the reading to cover. Feedback: I think Gort well-dig refers to choosing to keep up with a project I understand I must pursue without any short-term gain and which I can only complete with the help of others. Nuin well-dig is a good situation offering great communication - I did not take as much advantage of this as I could have, but nonetheless some good options have shown up and I am grateful for them. As for Saille well-dig - at times this didn’t seem to apply to me, because I put myself into some emotionally stressful places during this time that led to circumstances that are more difficult to persevere through. But I’m viewing these circumstances as a blessing, and that is Saille well-dig - being better able to react emotionally to situations and adapting as needed.

Because this time period was so complicated, I’d like to ask the Ogham if it could provide a piece of wisdom and advice I should focus on learning from these past three weeks.

You drew three cards for the week.

For the You position, you drew Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. Straight up, Tinne is a danger card in my Ogham, so be on high alert and take as few risks as possible. Other than that, watch for psychological over-defensiveness on your own part in the form of being touchy or irritable. There is an opposite risk of vulnerability where you least expect it. Tinne is always a good one to meditate on -- my favorite example is people who move to the posh suburbs ostensibly because it is better for children and then find the worst and most miserable childhoods are to be had in the posh suburbs.

For the Situation, you drew Gort or Perseverance well-dignified. Obviously the Ogham are trying to tell you something with Gort, which moved in your reading from You to Situation. Your perseverance (not necessarily in the project you mentioned, BTW) is catching. Keep plugging slow and sure and you will find the rewards come back your way.

For the Outcome, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene ill-dignified. This tends to be a card of etheric starvation, which is the most common condition of our time. Make sure to get some sunlight on your naked ribcage. The spleen is where the etheric body is most able to absorb beneficial energy. Keep clutter to a minimum, talk with the spirits of the land, and do as many tree rituals as you are able this week to combat etheric starvation. Also, practice moderation in all things.

For your general question about the last three weeks, they give Eadha or Limits well-dignified. They ask you to consider what the limits are of your perseverance. When have you persevered too long in a situation, place, or habit and how did it come back to bite you? When have you persevered too little? What examples do you have in your life where you persevered just right? (In my own case, the "good" perseverance tends to be my marriage and with music)

Nuin: How do you treat strangers? Did you always treat them so well, giving them the benefit of the doubt? How does the way you view people you don't know color your life? Are you open to new ideas? How open?

Saille: Do you consider yourself a psychic sensitive? How does your materialism interfere with your intuition or psychism?

In 2022, I had a dream which felt extremely significant.

I've been thinking about it a lot lately (probably in part due to your recent posts), and would like to know if I should interpret it literally (i.e. it was a depiction of future events), or metaphorically?

Hi Mr. Crow,

My Ogham say you should err on the side of metaphor. They give Oir or Epiphany ill-dignified, meaning that the dream has a great deal to say about you if you unpack it in meditation, including things you may have been hiding from yourself. It's easy to think of dreams like the one you mention as prophetic, and they often are, but it's usually much more subtle than "I dreamt of a green blob eating New York and a green blob literally ate New York". I had a dream that was a preview of the MRNA mayhem in the early 2000s. I dreamed of my brother owning and neglecting a bunch of reptiles who came down with a disease that ate their DNA. It spread to humans and ended as a nightmare where everyone got infected. Anyone who consented ended up being eaten alive by the DNA crud, yet I was somehow immune because I had not consented. The disease was created in a lab by the US government. Was this dream literal? Sort of.

Sounds like your dream was pretty on the money!

In late 2020 and early 2021, I had a load of dreams of people dissolving into goo, as well as dreams of bugs, slime monsters, floods and zombies. Pretty sure I know what those were alluding to!

Anyway, thanks - my dream involved walking through destroyed, abandoned cities with not a soul in sight (along with some other stuff that happened) and would have to be set in the 2030s. I'll try to take it as a metaphor, but I guess we'll find out!

Hello Kimberly,

I'm the guy who received the optimistic relationship readings a while back.

I returned to one of those tarot card readers last week. Although he got the outcome wrong (marriage with kids), he correctly described the woman I met: she's tall and blonde, a good human being, and very much keen on having children. She was a very good sport when I decided to break up with her, and we're still friends on Facebook.

He told me last week that I will meet another woman, likely at work, with should-length dark hair and (intense?) green eyes. It seems she has a bit of a temper and that I will need to stand up for myself in a relationship with her. (My response: as long as she's honest, bring it!!) He also said that I will not like her when I first meet her because of her demeanor, but that I should look past that because she is just being a bit too defensive around someone she doesn't know (or something to that effect).

What do your Ogham think.

Hmmm, interesting.

My Ogham don't think the Tarot psychic you consulted is correct in this case. They give Beith or Beginnings ill-dignified -- this points to him either being wrong entirely or again missing key details as to how meeting with this person (if she exists) will work out.

It's very easy as a psychic reader to get too wrapped up in the Significator's (that's you) problems. You want very badly to meet someone; that's quite clear. This mental image projects into the Tarot reader's astral being and he reflects it back at you like a warped and mist-shrouded mirror.

My Ogham do think you'll meet someone, but it will be in a situation that has to do with resilience and because you share that common interest. When I ask, "Will he meet someone soon?" they give Straif or Resilience well-dignified. This means your best bet is to hang out in places where people are talking about homesteading, riding out various economic setbacks, and helping others by sharing skills and knowledge. Ecosophia's various blogs are certainly where you should start. If you're anywhere near that potluck that gets thrown in Rhode Island every summer near JMG, you should go.

A reading for April & a question

My queries are as follows:

1. Can I trust that A has my best interests at heart?
2. A general reading for April

Feedback: your reading for March indicated that it would be a fairly martial month. I think this was a pretty fair description of March for me. Although there were not the arguments or battles I was expecting, it was an extremely tough month requiring a great deal of hard work and resilience.

My Ogham say to proceed with caution with A. They provide Ngetal or Hygiene ill-dignified, which indicates that A can mean well, but there is a lot going on subconsciously that even A does not understand. A may be prone to act without knowing why and against his or her own better self.

For April, you drew three cards, all ill-dignified. Though this does not guarantee trouble, it means that you'll have a much better time if you keep an eye out for imbalances in three areas.

For the You position, you drew Nuin or Communication. If you know someone on the autism spectrum or are on the spectrum yourself, think of all the worst traits of autists: autistic literalism, oversensitivity to stimuli, laziness, dogmatic routines, inability to connect with people. These will all be problematic areas. Also, expect transportation to be slow or costly and equipment to malfunction.

For the Situation, you drew Ur or Intimacy. Much is better left unsaid as the people around you will misunderstand. Keep your secrets better than a spy under duress. Along with Nuin, this card may lead to stifled feelings and frustration. Because of this being in Situation, someone may be expecting too much of you and putting far too many emotions on you because of their perceived needs. At some point, you have to put yourself first as a matter of survival.

For the Outcome, you drew Tinne or Defense. I utter my usual warning about this one being a danger card. Wear an amulet and say prayers of protection. Other than that, you may feel you are having to run defense and stand your ground more than usual. I feel your pain on this one as many expect me to be soft and become disappointed and/or upset when I push back. Guard your perimeters and be EXTREMELY slow to commit to any new projects, designs, or obligations. You'll answer if and when you feel like answering.

I would also point out that all your cards were ill-dig and they are all considered the suit of Water, meaning the world of images known as the astral plane. (All are depicted by 3 lines, so look for synchronicities, especially negative ones, coming in threes this April)

Ngetal is the watery part of Water.

Nuin is the watery part of Air.

Ur is the watery part of Earth.

Tinne is the watery part of Fire.

Be careful of the media you consume this month and curate it ruthlessly. It is going to leave a deeper mark than usual. If in doubt, leave certain people and gatherings out.

Thanks for this, Kimberley. On the subject of synchronicities, there are a few in your reading I have already observed. In my last conversation with A I mentioned Andrew Ng (one of the founding fathers of machine learning - and Ng is the letter associated with Ngetal. We also had a conversation around meaning and purpose that started with "What if you died tomorrow?" which is mentioned word-for-word in your commentary on Ngetal. A is also a hoarder so the description of Ngetal ill dignified fits him quite well.

I asked whether I could trust him because he is a friend of my former partner (and a close friend of her former husband) and has been in the habit of making passive aggressive remarks designed to knock my confidence. One thought that had crossed my mind was that, due to his allegiance to his friends (and in particular my former partners husband who has been trying for several years to get her back), he was acting as a spy and also trying to diminish me, but now I am wondering whether he does it out of insecurity.

For the You position, you drew Beith or Intention well-dignified. You have a unity of direction that gets it done this week. It may not be all you had hoped to achieve, but it is plenty. The challenge is to see it through and be grateful for the time you spent, even if it seemed like it was too little.

For the Situation, you drew Quert or Delight well-dignified. Quert is the ability to replenish one's stores without overdoing it. All things in moderation leads to a happy life. The small details you are grateful for are what make your life good -- people often overlook small courtesies and delicate touches, but without them, we would not have a civilization worth living in.

For the You position, you drew Nuin or Communication well-dignified. This is a week of clarity and honesty. Perhaps you don't need to say anything at all because actions speak louder than words. I recently suggested somewhere that if a child over the age of 8 wants to say I LOVE YOU loud and clear, he or she needs only to do the dishes without being asked.

For the Situation position, you drew Eadha or Limits well-dignified. This one points to the fruits of working with you have. It may mean the ability to get some wiggle room, enjoyment of earned wealth, strength, and resilience from prudent actions in the past. The presence of this card may point to someone trying to push your limits and finding that you see them coming from a mile away.

For the Outcome, you drew Coll or Wisdom well-dignified. I hope this one means you find a wise person or expert who can give you the advice and help you need. It could mean that. It also can mean wisdom earned the hard way: plugging away in diligent work and having a moment of understanding and a glimpse at mastery.
