Ogham Readings on Sundays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night.  Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones:

 

-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading

-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

 

Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break.  My next planned break is the week of Sunday, March 24.

I am considering speak to an astrologer on a personal issue that has been a buried self-inflicted thorn in my side for some time now. I divinated on the topic and got a "yes" that she would be helpful to reach out to - however, the reading suggested her advice could be of a very fiery sort and perhaps there is some riskiness involved in reaching out to her. As I am not great enough at divination to intuit more information from my reading, can I ask you for advice on how to approach speaking with her? Is there any information I shouldn't share with her, or anything I should expect in engaging with her?

Hi Anon,

The Ogham give you three cards of advice when consulting the astrologer.

For "How to approach", they say "with caution". The Ogham give you Nuin or Communication well-dignified, which is to say you will likely hit it off with this person despite her being a stranger. The Ogham think she is good at what she does. Approach her with the respect due to any professional of high standards and you should be fine. Basically treat her as you would a kind, grandmotherly neighbor who also happens to be a psychologist. Don't expect to become besties, but feel free to discuss what is going on with impugnity.

For "Is there info I should not share with her?" they say Yes and they give you Phagos or Teaching well-dignified. There are things in life you are very, very good at and if she is as good as she says she is, these things will be obvious and apparent from the reading. You don't have to tell her everything -- feel free to be cool and let her suss it out.

For what you should expect, they give Ailm or Transcendence ill-dignified. Don't expect this reading to be more than it is. She may be channeling the Divine (I certainly believe astrology gives us messages from the Divine) but it is up to you to gather the information and do discursive meditation on it. You are the key to all of it. She is only a helping hand to shove you down the correct path.
