Ogham Readings on Sundays

Hi Everyone,

 

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

 

Please note I will be taking off the weeks of December 24, 2023 and December 31, 2023.  Readings will resume as usual January 7, 2024.

Thank you so much as always for this service.

My question this week is about my current partner, and I'm wondering if your Ogham can shed some light.

I realize I can't change him, but can your Ogham tell me if I should be doing anything to try to help him get through his current emotional crisis, and if so, what? Or should I just withdraw and start planning to end this long-term relationship? What does your Ogham think is the best approach to all of this, based on what I need to learn, do, and accomplish in this incarnation?

Heavy questions, I know, but I've always found your Ogham helpful.

As someone who has been married for 23 years, now I know what they mean when they say it ain't easy. It certainly ain't.

I distilled the above into three questions on your behalf.

1. What should J do in order to help P, a.k.a. "Partner" as J continues the relationship?

They give you Muin or Harvest well-dignified. Let gratitude be what you sow because the harvest will extend far beyond your relationship with P. The hardest thing in a relationship is to keep finding the positives in the person you are very used to having around. I struggle with this all the time. When I find myself getting crabby over my partner's shortcomings, I try to counter it with three things he has done right. He is terrible about picking up the household chores, but he still acts as if I look as cute as I did when we were first married despite compelling evidence to the contrary. He fixes things around the house; most recently it was a new keyless entry for the door (this would have cost a small fortune to hire done). He takes good care of the cats while I'm gone. Try this strategy whenever you get good and irritated at P. I believe it has helped me.

For leaving him, they give Ioho or Grace ill-dignified. This relationship isn't over yet. The Ogham recommend sticking it out. They suggest looking at what deal breakers ended your previous relationships. We all have deal breakers and the Ogham seem to think P has not given you good enough reason at this point to renege upon the relationship.

For how you should approach this situation based upon what you need to learn in this incarnation, they provide Ruis or Regret well-dignified. This is to say you need to take a hard and unflinching look at your own mea culpas, say a prayer and an "I DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE", and use that work to strengthen the relationship with P. Sure, the relationship with P. may not be forever/the rest of this incarnation, but if and when it ends, you will be able to say you were the best version of yourself the whole time.
