Hi Everyone,

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

Please note I will be taking off the weeks of December 24, 2023 and December 31, 2023. Readings will resume as usual January 7, 2024.

My Ogham like it and they think the outcome will be a net positive. They provide Saille or Sensitivity, which is to say they think your presentation is the right thing at the right time. You will benefit from keeping it streamlined, straightforward, honest, minimalist, and direct. Keep it simple.

Hello. I have been enduring a difficult landlord situation the past several months. While I supposedly just signed a form to leave my shared room by month's end, I am not confident I can trust this landlord on his word - he's tried to manipulate me to claim I caused home problems I never caused, and he has harassed me in the house. Yet my intuition indicates I need to work with him directly in order to move out properly.

Can your Ogham give a reading on my situation? I'm not sure how to best ask the Ogham about it. Maybe a "Me, Situation, Course of Action" reading is appropriate? And if it's not too much to ask, can I also ask the Ogham as to where my best option for housing would be should I successfully move out of my current place?

Sounds like a rough time! I wish you my best.

For the You card, the Ogham provide Duir or Gifts ill-dignified which tells me that the landlord is using his or her privileges to stomp all over you and/or is acting like he or she and the room you are renting is God's gift. My Ogham agree that you need to work with him and be sweet and agreeable all while making a run for it as fast as you can. This guy or lady is bad news.

For the Situation, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene well-dignified. This seems to say that you've kept track of things, been a good tenant, and that you are smart about not trusting the landlord. Since you've kept your own hands clean, you should look into your rights as a tenant and gather your paperwork as well as snapping photos of the room to show it is in good condition in case the landlord tries to blame you for damage you did not cause later on.

For the course of action, my Ogham give you Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. You need to prepare an array of defenses, such as the photos I mentioned, any receipts and paperwork, and potentially some kind of legal or physical protection as the landlord is giving psycho vibes. If I were you I would start wearing an amulet almost constantly. The low level astral and etheric parasites that hang around people like your landlord won't be able to penetrate a hoodoo amulet and that will lessen the landlord's negative influence on you.

For the kind of situation you should seek, my Ogham provide Ur or Intimacy well-dignified. This is their way of saying you should crash at a friend's or relative's house until you find a new place to live.

Every one of us has something we can do exceptionally well, and one of the most frustrating parts of life is figuring out where we shine. It is my opinion that most addictions are the result of a combination of not being able to figure out what one is truly good at and the resulting frustration. This is a good week to look at when your expertise is being sought and what that means in the scheme of the life you have in front of you.

For the Situation, you drew Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. You are able to throw out what does not serve you this week. Because this is Situation, it can directly affect or be happening to your most-loved loved ones. Getting rid of what no longer serves you can be painful but it is always necessary, healthy, and helpful.

For the Outcome, you drew Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. This is a straight up danger card in my Ogham, so be on your guard this week. Otherwise, it can be talking about being too defensive, touchy, grouchy, paranoid, or suspecting others when you don't need to go there. On the flipside of imbalance, it can be talking about trusting the wrong people and things, being too lax in your protection of others, or feeling guilty for not rising to someone's defense whether or not it would make a difference.

Interesting question... I like the mysterious ones. My Ogham like Choice B.

For Choice A, they provide Coll or Wisdom ill-dignified. To be unwise is to either be imbalanced on the side of flailing helplessness or tipped towards reckless arrogance. Either one is just as bad.

For Choice B, they provide Onn or Community well-dignified. In a good dignity, Onn is friendly and recognizes its place. It is humble and acknowledges the ecosystem it must remain in harmony with in order to survive and thrive.

My friend has a spare room in her house, and I'm considering asking her whether I can rent it out. I'm 50/50 on how good an idea this is though - it's a lovely house and I live in an area in which it is very, very difficult to find good rental situations, but there are some things about her lifestyle, energy, and general outlook on life that are a bit different from me, and that gives me pause.

My Ogham generally think it will work out. They provide Ioho or Grace well-dignified, meaning that you'll have to be very gracious and so will she, but overall, you can make the shoe fit. Good luck!

I'm the guy that received the optimistic relationship readings a while ago.

On a whim (and a last-minute deep discount due to an insufficient number of men participating), I attended a speed dating event yesterday, and I was informed this morning that I matched with one person. What do your Ogham think about the match?

By the way, I don't know what's going on with T, but I'm tempted to throw in the towel already. I wonder if she has baggage from her past that she still needs to process. (Or maybe we both do ..)

My Ogham don't much care for the speed-dating match. I hope they are wrong. They provide Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified, which indicates that the person has some serious problems or life stuff that could be a deal-breaker in your case.

For T, they provide Coll or Wisdom ill-dignified, which means it is too early to call. That said, your main task should be to meditate about how you feel about T, not about how she feels about you. Is she worth pondering? Fighting for? If not, set her free to her destiny.

My Ogham give you Coll ill-dignified for the first one, which means it's highly unlikely. For number 2, they give Tinne or Defense well-dignified. For three, they give Nuin or Communication well-dignified. Number 3 is by far the best because it is ruled by Mercury, god of communication and commerce, and will give you the largest berth of success.

This may be a turbulent week. For the You card, you drew Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. This one can be a physical danger card in my Ogham, so be very cautious and guarded, don't take any risks, and overall try to lay low and don't do anything dangerous or strenuous. Other than physical danger, Huath means either you have too much mojo -- acting rashly -- or too little, as if your get up and go "got up and went" and you feel you cannot rise to whatever the occasion is calling for.

For the Situation, you drew Ioho or Grace well-dignified. This week shows you deferring or someone close to you doing the same. Deferment is often an act of grace, of letting the younger ones carry the torch, and recognizing that for anything new to be born, something old must die.

For the Outcome, you drew Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified. In an unbalanced state, at its very worst, Uilleand points to enabling or molly coddling, for instance not being able to say No to a child and it winds up making him or her spoiled. In other words, Uilleand is pretty mild even when ill-dignified. The other possibility of "imbalance" is you spilling over with generosity, and in that case, it only returns to bless you seven times. There is no bad side to that form of imbalance.

A week ago I asked whether a group I am friends with were in trouble and your Ogham said yes, and that the health of one was going to be an issue. Update. My heart breaks to report the kindest and loveliest out of the group died unexpectedly yesterday morning. I can't see the group surviving her loss. Please thank your guides for the heads up. My Ogham say there are pitfalls with either one of them but M is generally better.

For C, they give you Phagos or Teaching ill-dignified. This means that either you won't be able to grok or work with the teachings C gives you or that it could be the blind leading the blind a.k.a. C does not know as much as previously assumed.

For M, they give Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified. This shows that M may possibly be a generous person that will bend over backwards to help you. If not, it may be showing that M is amiable but only wants to molly coddle you for reasons unknown. Hopefully it is the first one.

Well, sometimes my Ogham are very blunt. They give you Muin or Harvest well-dignified, which is their way of saying your bleakness is a self-fulfilling prophecy: you reap what you sow. You may be hanging around bleak people, watching depressing/nihilist movies, immersed in the study of dark and somber topics, and if so, your bleakness is the natural result of filling your mind with bleakness. To get over this, you need to repopulate your astral space with happier, more humorous images, stop taking yourself so seriously, get more sunshine and exercise, and make laughter a priority.

For what you can do to fix it, they give you Quert or Delight well-dignified. You can start making your life happier by thanking all of the objects, places, and people within it. This includes thanking the chair that hosts your butt and the sidewalk that bears your pounding feet. Don't let one meal, night's sleep, or act of kindness go un-thanked, and when you say thank you, make sure you mean it. Before long, you'll find that objects and spaces will follow suit with people: they will be grateful to you for being grateful about them.

Hi Neb,

Very cool! My Ogham give you Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. They think you should work on your flexibility and sensitivity. In my Ogham, flexibility is part of Saille, which is symbolized by the Willow. You might take this literally and do stretching exercises, Tai Chi, or yoga while having others pray for your physical well-being. Sensitivity also means developing your listening and empathy skills and learning how to truly see others with your mind's eye. Lastly, Saille points to the need to eliminate what you don't love or what "does not spark joy" in Marie Kondo's vernacular so that you may focus on what improves you and makes you happy.

I feel you on this one -- I have often been drawn to Santa Muerte though I have yet to propitiate to her formally. I was Catholic in several past lives so that may have something to do with it.

My Ogham like the idea of you petitioning her. They provide Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified for the petition, which tells me you need to research what Santa Muerte likes and make her an altar. From what I have heard, she prefers to have an altar.

For the Catholic prayers and rituals, my Ogham say Yes. They give Beith or Beginnings well-dignified, meaning you can start with something simple such as the Stations of the Cross and some basic prayers on a daily basis.

Quert in this dignity can mean overdoing it with food, drink, or mind-altering substances; moderation is key, and that does not mean tee-totaling. It means learning to indulge without going overboard and making enjoyment a habit. Quert in this dignity can also point to rudeness, so don't give rudeness if that is what you get.

For the Situation, you drew Beith or Intention ill-dignified. This one can simply mean you don't have a ton of energy this week and you have to be careful where you spend it. Don't go in too many directions at once and enforce the word NO until you get used to saying it. Craft your intentions but also prune them: you emphatically cannot do it all, nor would you want to.

For the You position, you drew Oir or Epiphany. Truth strikes like lightning, and though it can hurt, it also shows exactly where the problem is and what is needed to begin solving it.

For the Situation, you drew Saille or Sensitivity. The situation will call for flexibility -- you should not bend until you snap or be a pushover but you also need to move with the times and act with proportion and instant adjustment.
