A novena question

Good morning Kimberly

This is Will Oberton from JMGs blog. I have a two part question for the oracle. I am thinking of praying a novena to Raphael to help my wife and sister in law get along better. So first would that be effective and second if effective would it be welcomed by both of them?

Hi Will,

You really ought to get their permission before praying for other people. I'll hold off on asking my Ogham about it until you ask them, and if they grant their permission to be prayed for, you are welcome to ask again.

The book I've been getting into is The Only Way To Learn Astrology by March & McEvers.

My plan was if I got a favorable result I would ask they before I prayed the novena. Now I will just switch and ask first. Then see what the oracle says

You're welcome! As a magical newbie, I don't feel comfortable going against something JMG adamantly says is unethical (praying for someone else without their permission). Maybe pray to Raphael to give you the courage to ask them?

Hi Ip,

It's a no from my Ogham. They show me Ruis, which means Regret, ill-dignified. This means they are suggesting you will regret it either way (purchasing or not purchasing) but if you DO purchase, the regret will be much worse.

Hi,

My Ogham say no, not for now. They give me Onn, which in my system means Community. They are saying the community is not right for that at the moment, meaning the people you would be surrounded by would not be the best for you. I get a sense they're telling you to wait, hold off so you can truly think about what it means to be a nun, and then ask again if you're still drawn to it later.

I was the one asking if I’d get a job and your runes said No. They were right; it’s a seasonal job and because of Social Distancing they only need half the normal number of people.

So I’m applying for a regular old part-time job. What do the runes say about this effort?

FYI I don't read runes, I hope you mean Ogham.

All right, I will ask the Ogham three questions:


1. Will the one particular part-time job result in a Yes, you're hired?

The Ogham give me a Yes, but with a caveat. The Yes is in the form of the letter Huath, which means Obstacles. It'll be tough.

2. Generally, will you be able to get a part-time job in the next month?

They give me Tinne, ill-dignified, which is saying either it's a No or by getting the part time job, it does something bad to your defenses. Meaning, it's either too much or too little defense to help you gain the security you crave. 3. What is the overall impact of getting a part-time job?

Overall, they give me Ailm or Transcendence. This means that taking a bird's eye view of your job search and what that means to you will help you learn an important life lesson. More money does not necessarily equal resilience.

Darn right it’ll be difficult—it’s a giant pharmacy chain where you apply over the Internet, the application is caught in a loop, and they’re having trouble fixing it!

I've ordered a portable altar from etsy.
I was expecting it to have arrived by now.

What do the runes have to say about its status in transit/time before delivery?

Hi JPC, I asked the Ogham if the altar will come safely within the next week:

They say Oir reversed, which means probably not. If it does arrive, there might be a problem in either actually getting it or the item/packaging being flawed.

As a followup, it did arrive today in one piece. It was smaller and a bit more orange than I thought it would be, but that's on me for not looking at a ruler and a colour swatch.

Now to be fair, I asked Hermes on the hour and day of Mercury to have a look at what was going on. After that, the package mysteriously 'found' itself after sitting in SeattleSan Francisco for 10 days...only to spend days more languishing in southern Ontario.

So I'm calling this one a solid hit. Thanks again.

Hi Kevin, my Ogham say Yes, at least one of those rail services will resume. They give me Luis, which means Protection. This indicates those rail services are beloved by a deity who is interested in their survival.

As for the passenger rail service loss, yes, it is an omen. They give me Phagos, which means Knowledge. The writing is definitely on the wall.
