I loved living in an apartment -- if you're not into yard work and constantly fixing/repairing/maintaining, an apartment is the way to go. Even a condominium or townhouse (owned) isn't as good because you still have to repair stuff in a condo/townhouse yet you're not free to do whatever you want, so the trade off sucks. At least with an apartment, you don't have to worry about the furnace, the roof, and the grounds.
