For what it's worth, "Christians" doesn't leap out at me in the stuff I've run across. I get that having satanism as a boogeyman does by definition require at least a vague Christian cultural background, though.

What's weird to me is how *long* the SRA etc. stuff has been around: as you point out, it's a descendant of the 80s Satanic Panic, and it never really went away... I remember stumbling across the weirdest paranoid schizo internet fantasy back in the early 2000s, involving Natalie Portman. What's freaky is that the tale has changed very little since then, it's just that the characters have all been replaced with high-ranking politicians and Hollywood celebrities, conveniently provided by Epstein's flight logs. Same story. Different names plugged in. Even used the same creepy artwork to illustrate it.

The whole thing does seem to be absorbing all the natural "global elite vs. the peasantry" energy and animosity out there, and could prove very combustible, particularly given the plummeting public trust in conventional news sources.
