I'm thinking they all went along with it because they were literal chickens, cows, and farmed sheep in their recent previous lives. They were offered a great deal of instant gratification on a plate and they could not resist the Ahrimanic evil. Nothing tastes as good as party food, and there are lots of other enjoyable substances to be had as well. Given the chance, some of them jumped into Luciferian arrogance and it is those people whom I believe to have the worst karma.
