I'm still in the thick of writing it, but I would say I am about halfway through the process. I am on the lookout for credentialed proofreaders and editors (who will be paid by me) so I can send a fairly clean manuscript instead of a rougher version when the time comes. Once I do publish, I will likely try to go through a small indie publisher.

How is everyone experiencing the astral weather lately? This last week I had to go down into Minneapolis. During the Riots my favorite book store was burned down and it finally reopened. So I stopped by to check it out. It moved to a new location but still in the heart of the riot area. The store uncle Hugo’s science fiction book store was very nice. However after I got home I felt sick like a flu was coming on. So I took a cold shower and then took out my prayer beards. After that and a little nap. I felt fine. I seemed to havdd we washed off some astral Gunk. It was an interesting experience

is it insane and cat lady cruel to try and talk James into keeping four kittens and a mom in a 3-room apartment?

at the very least i wish i could send them out in pairs but i'll have no control. i'm just putting out a prayer that i come across someone who'd LOVE two kittens!

how do you know when kittens are ready to eat real food???

and when would you neuter/spay??? i wish i didn't have to but even if we do have to take the kittens to the SPCA, i want to take them when you say they should become neutered and spayed because i think they're doing it way too soon. wish i didn't have to do it at ALL but i will.

also what do you feed your cats? do you make your own?

any other information you wanna tell would be loved because the natural cat book isn't that helpful after all.

man... even just homemaking... brilliant idea. genius.

when i was first learning how to make my own patterns and sew more professionally from books in the library, i knew dryers were bad but WHY? so i took my "uniform" my daily custom personalized matching lipstick outfits i'd dance and work out in and inspired by day of the week underwear i'd coveted but never got, and Laverne's "L" on her sweaters in Laverne and Shirley, i hand appliqued "KItten Lopez" on all my pants and stuff and put it in a commercial dryer and LEARNED WHY NO DRYERS NO HEAT.

everything deteriorated.

so i started washing them in my bathwater and hang drying them and ...ALL THE TIME SAVED and it was good for my hand made things to rinse in cold and hang over the tub or outside.

hanging clothes outside is "illegal" so many places like gardens on front lawns. so funny.

anyhow, this book would be radical and i can see it growing and being revised like
The Joy of Cooking.

Congratulations on your kitties! My house is tiny -- only 625 square feet spread over four rooms. We have made a great deal of space for our cats by "catifying". My husband built a network of shelves in my office (tiny room in front) and in the kitchen so the cats can run around/sleep/whatever above our heads. Four cats can be a handful but honestly one is a handful. At least with four, they keep each other busy. At some point, I may end up with five because there are three ferals I feed outside 2x a day I would like to entice into the house. Whoever said cats are aloof and independent wasn't bonded with their cats. If you are bonded to a cat, they are as or more loyal than dogs. Ashley, my gray guy, learned how to play fetch today. It was a real breakthrough for him. His brother, Shadow, figured out fetch at least a month ago. Cats need lots of play for both interaction and exercise. I train mine with a clicker just as if they were dogs.

Wet cat food is better than dry. It is more hydrating. I prefer grain free. I tend to give my cats a smorgasbord of wet foods. Once the kittens start becoming interested in the smell of their mom's wet canned food, then it is time to wean. Their mom will also start pushing them away at some point.

Boys can be neutered early. Neutering is not as difficult as spaying. Ash and Shadow were neutered at 4 months old. It is best to neuter or spay before they go through feline puberty, which is usually about one year old. 6 months for girls and 4 months for boys is best.

I know some people who make their own cat food. I used to feed Kiki raw chicken, but vets are conflicted on whether or not that's a good idea. I don't feed my cats raw chicken anymore because I fear it might have contributed to Kiki's metabolic issues when she was alive.

They should always have "too many" litter boxes. I have three large ones (1.5 per cat).

Interesting anecdote! It has been a s**tstorm where I am. Really bad. It has not let up much since the recent election, though it is slightly better. I can tell by how my dreams are. I have never been one to micromanage my dreams. The only thing I try to manage while dreaming is enforcing the same moral codes upon myself as if I were awake. Other that, it's a free for all and I don't attempt to manipulate the dream environment. Conditions are still terrible. Muck all around, festering and swirling. Such is the predicament of our era.

I would like that. I do address health care, though I have to be careful to veil everything concerning it because Big Pharma would love to sue me, I'm certain.

Line drying clothes is much more gentle. Plus you infuse them with the energy of the sun and the wind, which has countless benefits. They can take a beating in the washing machine and the dryer. Nevertheless, I do find that my clothes, towels, and bed linens are much happier though if I am considerate and thank the washer and dryer for their labor. It's funny how the washer and dryer at my parents' house (I do all my laundry over there as I do not own a washer or dryer) are happy to chat with me. I say "Thank you" and they say "You're welcome". People usually do not talk to their appliances, let alone "listen" with their mind's ear for an answer. Yet everything in this world has a soul and a voice.

let me know when you're ready for me to pitch my cover idea(s). i'm a professional, won't have my feelings hurt if you see another style or artist, and want you to choose the artist and art that resonates with your vision for your project so i want you to get as much from all you can and use all you want and can, as illustration brings books to life even for kids to grow into their parents' tomes, as happened with me.

As much as it ain't easy to live in the current era (astral dung heap, threat of nuclear war obliterating the planet, media zombification) there are things about our time that are VERY nice, such as dryers.

Yes, my continuing poor sleep-situation can attest to the fact that the astral weather continues to be a churning maelstrom of pig-poop. I think it doesn't help that so many people's behaviors these days are being controlled by demons, whether these unfortunate people are fully demon-possessed or merely demon-obsessed.

As just one example, in my apartment building, someone keeps damaging the coin-receptacles on the laundry machines in the basement by putting bent quarters, of all things, in them so that someone has to come in and fix the machines to get them working again. With the landlord's permission (it was the landlord who told me it was bent quarters that was causing this recurring problem), I put up a sign in the laundry-room telling this person that they're breaking the machines with this behavior and they need to stop.

Well, just this week, that person pulled down the sign and almost broke the coin-receptacle on one the driers *again* with this deranged behavior. You can tell because the LED display has an amount on it less than the "200" price to do a load of laundry in the machine, because the coin-receptacle can no longer accept quarters thanks to the damage done by the bent quarter in there. This time the bent quarter was stuck in the slot with the LED indicator saying "75", and I pulled the quarter out, and sure enough, the edge of one of its outer slabs was bent outward. I was able to use the machine, but I was astonished that this person didn't even seem to care that they were sabotaging their own ability to use the machine with this demented behavior. I'm sorry, I just had to vent, the whole thing is just so...demonic. And I wouldn't be surprised if alcohol-abuse is also involved here.

Wow, what a freak. I agree, that person most likely has a demon riding them. I have an interesting experiment for you -- maybe try printing out one or more of the designs on this post:

Then tape or affix them to part of the dryer/dryers that cannot be seen. These designs are essentially astral demon traps. They ensnare and confuse demons within their lines, which is why I have one by my bed. Also, as funny as this seems, every time you are near the dryer, wish blessings upon it and thank it for all the work it has done and all the stupid people it has suffered. Don't bother wishing any hatred upon the quarter person, just stick to thanking the dryer and asking the gods to protect it.

As far as sleep, I have noticed the weighted blanket I bought that is full of tiny glass beads prevents a great deal of garbage from messing with me while I sleep. If I could sleep in a glass bubble somehow, I would do that. I can actually feel the blanket cutting out the astral noise/crap-swirl wherever it touches my body. Very, very weird.

We used to start puppies on solid food at 3 weeks. Baby cereal for the first day or two, as most of it will go anywhere but inside the pup. This period is a blast, watching them bumble through the dish. Once everyone has licked cereal off their paws or nose and figured out that that stuff in the dish is edible, you go to baby meat, then wet dog food, then dry dog food. (You, of course, will be using wet and dry cat food as steps 3 and 4.). The idea is to have them be familiar with any type of food their new owner may give them. Always go to the next step slowly, over 2-3 days each step, so their stomachs don’t get upset from too big a change too fast. You can probably stretch each step to a week nowadays, as people hang on to the little critters a lot longer. Back when Mom raised poodles, you started advertising them at 6 weeks, and they were usually all gone before they were two months old. 😕
