Every time I miss Kiki, which is almost constantly, I totally want another cat; and I want a girl. I have two boy cats, Shadow and Ash. I have been gun-shy and at this point, I am not adopting another one. One of the big issues is my aging parents. Shadow and Ash could be trained to travel, so if I have to spend several days a week at my parents' house caring for them, Shadow and Ash could theoretically accompany me. A third cat though? That starts to get insane. There's also the possibility of one of my three outdoor cats coming inside. One of them already does enter the house -- it's the orange one named Tommy. He waltzes right in. If I can entice Miss Piggy to stay inside the house, suddenly I have my third female cat who happens to be Shadow's mother.
It's also a money thing: as you know, cats are expensive!
