I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. For this week, I'll ask something a little different. I have a work trip coming up next week, and it involves conducting field work for over a week elsewhere in my part of the country while staying in a hotel situation for the nights. I wanted to ask what your Ogham think I should know about that work trip ahead of time?

Moving to a new city

I’m very keen on leaving everything behind and starting a new life, but I’m interested in what the ogham have to say about me either finding someone to live with or if there will be other opportunities that I’ll find on my own.

For the You position, you drew Koad or Confluence well-dignified. Overall, you will seem put-together and balanced, and it will be clear that you've worked on yourself.
For the Situation, which refers to your nephew and his universe, the Ogham provided Quert or Delight ill-dignified. Your nephew seems to have problems appreciating small stuff, and he may have issues with courtesy (or lack thereof) and overindulgence.
For the Outcome, the Ogham provide Duir or Gifts ill-dignified. There is no true bad side to Duir. Ill-dignified, it means someone becomes aware of privilege. There is the opportunity to be generous to a fault and love unconditionally, and that opportunity, if taken, reverberates through all the planes. Duir is a Christ-like card, and not in the modern Christian sense of trying to ram God's "love" down everyone's throat, but more like a mellow, wise, loving, accepting approach to life by radiating goodness and forgiveness.

Your best approach to remedy this is to nurture your etheric body, to get rid of old possessions and clean up your living space, and to do natural magic practices such as putting up bedside geometrics, hoodoo baths, wearing an amulet, etc. Forewarned is most definitely forearmed, so if you are feeling grumpy or irritable, your Saille imbalance is most likely why.
For the Situation, you drew Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified. You or someone close to you benefits from the energy of giving. By spreading abundance and taking the time to pay attention and appreciate abundance, you will send that energy through your life and it will bounce through the planes and back at you.

They give you three ill-dignified cards, so what they are saying is to look for extremes in each of three areas and try to find the ternary response instead of swinging to either pole.
For the You card, they give you Ailm or Transcendence. When there is "too much" transcending force, it means it is bogus and false. Be wary of claiming everything is OK when that isn't honest. If you are depressed, admit it, do what you need to do to rest and contemplate the forces at work. There is also possible temptation to go low in the form of trolling, bitterness, or being ugly or rude. We are all capable of it and I personally won't be the one to cast the first stone!
For the Situation, you drew Tinne or Defense. Situation often refers to people outside yourself or influences around you. The whole mask/vaccine thing was a great example of an excess of defense being deployed against a perceived threat. Vulnerability was created via that campaign that would not have been there with a toned-down reaction. When a threat presents itself, refuse to freak out, but on the opposite end, look at it carefully and don't blow it off. There is a happy medium between overdefensive and underdefensive.
For the Outcome, you drew Nuin or Communication. The world of strangers is not friendly this month. Tech could be a problem/pain in the butt. If it is recognition you desire or being out and about socially, it does not come easily. There is also the possibility of wanting to retreat into introversion when the world is determined to fill up your schedule with extrovert-required activities. Preparedness always boils down to a mental state at the end. If you are ready for all outcomes (good and bad) then you'll be sanguine when you get something in the middle, which is what you are likely to get.
For the Situation, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene. You will exist in a bubble of relative sanity and pragmatism. This could be referring to your personal space, your friends, or possibly a larger sphere such as your community or work environment. Nevertheless, be aware of astral garbage and insanity on the fringes that would like to pierce your bubble and make you crazy because misery loves company.

The Ogham think you should give up the car. They provide Eadha or Limits well-dignified when I ask "Should Andrew give up the car?" The car is outside your current limits. Just a suggestion: make sure you explain to the car that it is going to be repossessed and thank it for its service to you. Give it your blessing and ask the gods to make sure it finds a good home, wherever it is going.
I'm not sure why you are being thrown this set of obstacles right now. Perhaps that can be a future reading.

Date: 2022-07-04 01:41 pm (UTC)I have come back to report that the sale of some cattle, which drew Tinne at that time, and had an offer made that week, is coming to a conclusion today Sunday, three Sundays after the question was asked. This offer was concreted in the planetary hour of the Sun, and the last of the cattle was exchanged today in the day and hour of the Sun.
My plans afterwards are to make repairs on the pastures, fertilizing the grasses, mending fences, and then grow the herd properly in proper conditions.

My system of reading the Ogham is based on an Aristotlean ternary. An imbalance indicates a swing towards either a lack or excess of the Ogham energy in question, for instance Huath, which is the force applied to overcoming obstacles, can be imbalanced with too much (forcing the obstacle) or too little (running away from the fight). The goal, of course, is to bring the Ogham force back into the middle which represents an even distribution of the force. Huath well-dignified means the perfect amount of force needed to overcome the obstacle, no more and no less.
For the You position, you drew Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. You have a good chance of being irritable, touchy, or pissy this week, so be aware of that force trying to find a home in you. When this card is ill-dignified, in can also be warning of direct danger, so tune your awareness to any potential threats, including health threats caused by being around sick or reckless people or not maintaining your physical body in the way it deserves.
For the Situation, you drew Onn or Community ill-dignified. The world of semi-strangers such as extended family, casual friends, co-workers, store associates, and public servants is less friendly to you and your loved ones than usual this week. Someone may be having trouble finding and keeping fulfilling work -- hopefully the "someone" is not you. Counter any rudeness or abruptness with an air of politeness over an attitude of genuine benefit of the doubt courtesy and it will be hard to go wrong.

What concerns me is your expectation that a last minute snag will wreck everything. That's a form of mental self-sabotage. Every time you have that thought, I suggest you to counter it with an affirmation of "I learn from mistakes". Meaning, you admit to yourself that you as well as others make mistakes and that they can cause problems, but you use those mistakes as learning opportunities every single time. It is crucial that you don't limit the affirmation to "my" mistakes, as not everything is caused or controlled by you!

They provide Fearn or Bridge well-dignified, which talks about connecting through some kind of matchmaker.
As to the When? question, they provide Uilleand, which means Generosity. You will find love exactly when you achieve balance that causes you to be compulsively generous and able to apply that love to a special someone without conditions.

For the You card on your work trip, you got Ngetal or Hygiene ill-dignified. It won't be the healthiest trip -- it will be tiring, it will be hard to sleep or get decent food. The trip itself may cause some etheric starvation or depletion that you'll need to remedy by getting out in wild spaces/sunlight and eating and sleeping well.
For the Situation, you drew Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. You'll be in top form on this trip and people will perceive you as being very professional and flexible in the right ways. You'll communicate well and get your points across.
For the Outcome, the Ogham provide Koad or Confluence ill-dignified. Once again, you'll need to take serious health precautions on this trip as it could be bad for you. Make sure you are taking a B vitamin supplement and Vitamin D to bolster immunity before, during, and after.

I suggest you put a picture in your mind of the ideal person/people in the ideal living space and surround those thoughts with happiness so you can create the necessary energy to draw that person to you.

I know that I experienced both sentiments about my alma matter, so it does not strike me as unusual. If you're anything like I was back then, you don't know what else to do other than go to university. In hindsight, I'm glad I went and I'm incredibly happy and grateful I graduated, but university was not a fun time of my life; in fact it was hell.

For the You position, you drew Ioho or Grace. Ill-dignified, it means you need to let go of something you are clinging to. We live in a peculiarly graceless civilization that is unable to cope with the hard reality that everything has its time and everything dies. For me, I have issues with running myself ragged that used to be far worse when I was a young woman -- this card applies to me when I refuse to allow myself to rest. On the flip side, an imbalanced Ioho can mean too much Grace, letting go too easily and without enough of a fight.
For the Situation, you drew Huath or Obstacles. Either you or someone close to you is not meeting challenges with enough force or you/they are using too much force to get a desired outcome. Think it through as much as time affords you to do so before you make a decision. One of the worst examples I ever saw of an Huath imbalance was a young woman who settled for a young man she clearly saw as unattractive and tried to mold him into something closer to her ideal (physical) mate. Instead of dumping him and either reconciling to be alone until she maybe found someone she wanted, she forced him into an unrealistic mold. If she had too little Huath, she would have been a recluse incel who pined for a mate but who was unwilling to leave the computer to go outside and get one.
For the Outcome, you drew Ruis or Regret. When considering the past, you are either beating yourself up too much or being unfairly blamed in some sense or there is the opposite imbalance where you are presuming that you are and were right. The truth is somewhere in the middle. If you truly have erred, then say to yourself "That was wrong and icky but I don't do that anymore" and move on. If you thought you were wrong once but you were mistaken as the old jape goes, reconsider that your track record may not be as perfect as you think.
