Thanks for doing this! I followed you over from JMG's sites, where I have been reading and lurking for years. I'm following your demonic infestation series with great interest.
Question: Do I need to further reinforce my ultimatim with my wife in order to make the positive changes I desire in our relationship?
For context, my wife has been almost completely withdrawn from me to the point that I suspect demonic obsession, and I have gotten to the point of telling her that if she is not going to work with me together towards the goal of repairing and restoring our relationship that I will leave.
My Ogham say yes, you need to reinforce the ultimatum. They give Duir, well-dignified as an answer. Duir means to approach the situation with the generosity you would like to receive. Do unto others; be kind and gregarious with her but stay firm and dignified like an oak tree.
I appreciate this, as well as the tree imagery. Firm but gentle is something I struggle with, but aspire to. I just planted an oak in my yard to replace a 200+ year old sugar maple that the power company cut down, and oak trees have always been one of my favorites. This reading inspires me to spend some more time with the old oaks around here.
You're welcome and thank you for the comment. White oaks are my favorite trees. Maples are my second favorite. I have an oak seedling that was a volunteer in my garden bed that I'm trying to nurture into a giant tree someday. I transplanted it to the back part of the yard this year. I joke with my mom that it will reach a decent size when I'm pushing up daisies. I also have a maple seedling in my front yard from the hundreds of volunteers that pop up in Spring. It is growing very fast and hasn't needed much effort from me besides a little watering.
Thanks and question
