This is my question: I am going to begin working with a particular magical grimoire. What will be the results for me and my family of working with the spirits of the book? Will it be fruitful, will it bring any sort of harm?
My Ogham say the results are mixed for the work with this grimoire.
The first card signifies you, and that is Koad, well-dignified. Koad means confluence. For you personally, working with this grimoire will tie together disparate elements of your study.
The second card signifies your family, and it is Muin, ill-dignified. Muin means harvest and your family will not reap a good harvest from working with the grimoire.
The third card is Ailm, ill-dignified. Ailm means transcendence and this Ogham indicates you are trying to bring about resolutions with the grimoire but it "doesn't work that way".
Overall, my Ogham are suggesting you work with the grimoire as a solo effort and don't bring your family into the work.
I hope you don't mind if I ask for a couple readings: I'm about to finish an MA, and am considering my options for what to do after. The options I have in mind are an electrical technician program, pursuing a PhD, and the JET program. What will be the consequences of pursuing those?
Hi there Kim! Thanks for allowing questions. What will be the result, for me, of completing the Dolmen Arch correspondence course created by John Michael Greer? (Currently 2 weeks in)
For the electrical technician program, they showed me Uilleand well-dignified, which means not only will that go well, it will be in the spirit of generosity and will allow you to give back your skills.
For the PhD, they show me Muin, ill-dignified. Muin means Harvest and the harvest in the case of the PhD will not be good.
For the JET program, they show me Ruis, well-dignified. Ruis is regret, but it is a good sort of regret. For instance, the benefit of me regretting the dumb things I do is that I'm not tempted to do them again!
Your general state is Beith, ill-dignified. In my system this means there are two possibilities of imbalance. You'll have too many ideas and too much energy or the opposite imbalance, where your "get up and go" will feel like it "got up and went".
The Situation is Quert, well-dignified. You'll have reason to celebrate and have fun, so kick back and enjoy yourself.
The Overall Lesson to be learned this week is Tinne, ill-dignified. Tinne means defense. You'll have to analyze and meditate on whether there is overprotection going on or recklessness going on. Both aren't great, and oddly enough, being too safe is dangerous; for instance, living in a plastic bubble reduces your overall immunity because your system has nothing to proof itself against.
For You in general, they give me Ioho ill-dignified, which may indicate it's difficult to find downtime to do the exercises. Basically I think they could be saying you work too hard. Ioho means rest, so they might also be hinting that you need to prioritize sleep. It could also mean you're having trouble of letting go of an emotional conundrum or attachment.
For the Situation, it gives me Oir. I don't read the Forfedha as ill or well dignified, but FYI this was well-dignified. Oir means Epiphany. You will have many Eureka moments studying this course and it will enlighten your world is what I think they are saying.
For the General Lesson, it gives me Huath well-dignified. This means the course will be a challenge sometimes but absolutely worth it and necessary. You'll be much more hearty and resilient on the other side, but you will need to tap into your willpower to get there.
Thanks so much for this! Does the second symbol relating to my family only indicate that they will not benefit or does it also indicate harm coming to their "harvest"?
It could mean both those things. My Ogham seem fairly clear about maintaining a solo approach in this case. It's fine that your family knows what you are doing, but I think what this is saying is if they want to do magic as well, they should find their own paths.
