Love lives
Date: 2022-02-07 04:07 pm (UTC)This is my first time here, and I'd like to start by thanking you for what you do here.
My question is regarding my love life/lives. My wife and I separated in late 2017, the trigger for which was her discovery of a year-long affair I had just had (my only one during that marriage, although it must be said that it was already long dead in the water by then). The woman I had the affair with was also in a loveless marriage (or at least that's how it came across in her accounts of it), but she chose to stick with it. Since then, I've been living on my own, and I have no desire to go back to my broken marriage, and my efforts at finding someone else have been meagre and unsuccessful. I still think of the other woman, but have no idea whether she thinks of me as well. My questions are, how much longer until I find someone I'd like to spend my life (or part of it) with, and is there any chance the woman I had the affair with decides to come back to me?

Quebec questions
Date: 2022-02-07 05:24 pm (UTC)I currently reside in Quebec and my family reside in another country. Traveling to see them is made exceptionally difficult and expensive by the current restrictions and I am watching the situation with respect to the creeping totalitarianism here carefully, which adds further risk. That said, there are aspects of life here that I very much love and feel drawn towards. I would cast these readings for myself but I'm rather emotionally drawn up in them and am grateful for your insight.
So I have a few questions:
1. Despite the cost and risk, should I attempt to visit my family soon (e.g. within the next few months, or is it better to wait)?
2. Should I prepare to stay in Quebec long term (is there a future for me here)?
2b. If not:
- should I prepare to leave before the end of this year?
- and should I look elsewhere in Canada, or go back to my home country (which has its own major issues)?

For the You position, you got Quert or Delight/Celebration well-dignified. You will have reason to celebrate this week and you will do a good job of being courteous and gracious. You are rewarded for your seemingly small acts of kindness. They do add up.
For the middle or Situation position, that which is happening to you and coming from the outside world or is happening to those closest to you, you got Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified. This speaks of potentially undesired and unasked-for gifts being given to you or by you. Sometimes you just have to let people be, and that is what this card refers to. Not sure if the imbalance is you or someone close to you though.
For the Outcome, you got Coll or Wisdom ill-dignified. This is a week to "know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em". Be careful not to reveal your plans or to display or overplay your hand. Keep your mouth shut when in doubt and it will save you a heap of trouble, especially this week.

For the first month (approximately) you drew Fearn or Bridge ill-dignified. This is a card of lousy leadership. If you are the leader in question, the Ogham are trying to guide you to better job of it. Or this could be pointing out the reckless incompetence of a bad boss. This incompetence will be exposed over the first month.
For the second month, they give you Huath or Obstacles upright. Your toughest challenge will be faced in the second month, but if you stand strong, you will be fine. You'll have to invoke your warrior energy though.
For the third month, they give you Ioho or Grace ill-dignified. Ioho means you are either clinging too hard or the opposite imbalance, walking away without a fight. The difficulty in month three will be in deciding which battles are worthy of fighting.

My Ogham are saying that much of the drama has to do with your perception of privilege, and this includes your own privilege and the perceived privileges of others. The Ogham ask you to take a deep look at your gifts, which include talents as well as how "good" you have it, and then to figure out which limits to set in order to do what you love, and to keep in mind you cannot have anything you want. You do have to work with what you've got and not pine for what you don't have.
For the Situation, they provide Beith or Birth well-dignified. You are learning the power of intention and why crafting intention matters. The Ogham think you've put yourself in a good situation and that you are absorbing the lesson that is meant for you at this time. You are in the midst of something new (to you) and have the potential for deep understanding if you follow through because you are developing unity of Will.
For the Outcome, they provide Ailm or Transcendence well-dignified. This is the Ogham saying "this too shall pass". They remind you to always keep your sense of humor no matter what. They say there is an excellent chance of you learning the karmic lesson of the last few years and gaining a sense of tranquility that isn't achievable in any other way than the School of Hard Knocks.

For the move this week, they give Quert or Delight ill-dignified. There is a dark and Saturnine cast to this move, most likely having to do with having to de-junk in a way that feels severe and melancholy. Whoever said "your stuff owns you" spoke the gospel truth. Your best strategy is to pray to a deity for help and to focus on that which is worth celebrating, meaning to be thankful for how much you still have left after you've separated yourself from the excess stuff.
For finding a home, they say it's not good. They provide Koad or Confluence. This particular time is a s**tstorm and finding a home won't be pleasant. It will be easy to screw this up, so caveat emptor. Make sure you don't agree to anything before you are ready.
For the situation with Jr., no, they say moving will not help. They provide Fearn or Guidance ill-dignified, which means you are not getting good advice from leaders and helpers in a position of authority. Follow your gut and be ready to question and potentially fire bad advisors where junior is concerned.

For the You position, you drew Luis or Protection well-dignified. The Ogham say you are safe in God's hands this week. The smooth sailing means you can better listen to the advice of your Holy Guardian Angel. It's a good week to think about synchronicities that pop up and what that meant in the past.
For the Situation, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene ill-dignified. Someone close to you may be in health trouble. I have recently drawn this card in a similar position because a loved one is in a hospital and may be dying. It could mean that someone close to you is reckless with their health, or the opposite, that they are overly paranoid and reclusive in a desire to be "safe" driven by illogical fear.
For the Outcome or Karma, they provide Onn or Community well-dignified. You get love and support from people in your extended circle. They welcome you and give you much needed help if you ask for it.
As for what's up with your child, the Ogham provide Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. The Ogham warn that the child may be at risk this week. There is also the potential imbalance of being overprotective and not allowing risky things needed to develop natural strength and resilience.

Date: 2022-02-07 11:07 pm (UTC)This week looks like a doozy. All three cards were ill-dignified. Please keep in mind I've had great days on all ill-dig readings though; the Ogham are trying to warn you of imbalance in certain areas so you can turn a potentially bad week into something quite good.
For the You position, they gave you Ailm or Transcendence. It will be tempting to sink into old, bad habits this week or to take the low road. Watch out for parsimony, giving back someone's nasty attitude in kind, or for being ungrateful. If you can turn it around, it's like making the poop into quality fertilizer instead of flinging at somebody who pisses you off!
For the Situation, they provide Uilleand or Generosity. This can be affecting you or someone close to you. If Uilleand is too much, it means that someone is being gifted too much and they are becoming spoiled from the over-gifting. If it is too little, it could the gifter is the one who needs to stop it and cool off. Are you the gift-er or the gift-ee? If you are the gifter, hold back a bit and chill. If you are the giftee, set some limits and stand up to gifters who mean well but who aren't doing anyone any favors.
For the Outcome, you drew Muin or Harvest. There may be a rush to an outcome or anxiety over an outcome that cannot be affected or changed. There also could be a "psychology of previous investment" situation where you're putting too much energy into old ways of thinking and you need to shake off some old habits before investing more into fading and failed prospects.

Date: 2022-02-07 11:18 pm (UTC)For the short term, my Ogham provide Saille or Flexibility for the truckers. For every new trick the opposition throws at them, the truckers will adapt and turn it into their own advantage. They will evolve as needed to defeat the enemy.
For the medium term, the truckers got Ioho or Grace. They will fight as long as is needed. They will make some concessions that are for everyone's benefit though. They will stay peaceful despite the opposition's violence and depravity. The battle will seem to be over.
For the long term, my Ogham provide Tinne or Defense ill-dignified. This is my Ogham warning not to get complacent. There is a risk of thinking the tyrants are standing down when they're actually vindictive and planning their next attack. Even if this whole thing ends tomorrow, and you know it won't, it's super important that we remember never to take freedom for granted. We may end up losing our lives over it just as our 18th century forbears did in their various wars for independence.

Date: 2022-02-07 11:28 pm (UTC)Sure thing. My Ogham give you three cards for 2022. Whenever they predict time stuff, it's fairly general anyway. For instance, when I did the Ogham readings for the unvaxxed and the vaxxed, they were often accurate but off by a few weeks.
For the You position, they provide Nuin or Communication well-dignified. Nuin is good news and benefits from the world of strangers. This could be talking about people you have yet to meet or people you deal with in that you never become acquainted with in any more than a passing fashion. If you do internet stuff of any kind, this is a good omen.
For the Situation, you drew Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. A major challenge will occur this year and it will be tempting either not to rise to the challenge (too little Huath energy) or to attempt the wrong and forced approach (too much Huath energy). You would do well to propitiate to Ares and to generally become familiar with your own warrior spirit. The better you know yourself on that front, the better equipped you will be to handle conflicting forces.
For the Outcome, you drew Ruis or Regret well-dignified. You will reap the benefits of having been around the block a few times. You will act wisely because you know better and go with your best strategy or you will say "I don't do that anymore" when reminded of your own mistakes or both. Our civilization has an extremely warped image of shame, so anyone who can get over that karmic hump is a treasure to others. Humans learn best by modeling behavior, and when we are dealing with shame, it is helpful to be able to see an example of someone who handles it appropriately.

Date: 2022-02-07 11:35 pm (UTC)My Ogham say that you had best take a Stoic approach because you are not going to get the outcomes you desire on your current trajectory. For your first concern, for which I asked "Will JU be spending the rest of his life with someone?" They say that it is highly unlikely you will find another lifelong mate who can genuinely make you happy. They provide Oír or Epiphany ill-dignified. This points to a realization that the wrong person (and there are lots of those) will never be enough for you in this incarnation, and the right person may not actually exist outside of dreams.
For the woman you ask about, I said "Will she be back?" and the Ogham answer No, or at least that it is highly unlikely. They provide Ailm or Transcendence ill-dignified, meaning that either you or she will not be able to get over your past turbulence and that at least one of you will have major issues moving forward.
