Fascinating! Thank you for sharing that story. When I moved to my current house approximately six years ago, I felt a great welcoming that I have not felt in the other places I have lived, and unfortunately there have been quite a few of those over the years. One of the positive developments of urban lockdownerism is the outmigration of people from the cities into the countryside. Though some of them will inevitably bring the same stupid leftism they ostensibly ran away from, far more will infuse prosperity via the energy they surround themselves with as they create new lives. I know of several people who moved and/or are moving away from suburban Illinois to large family homestead situations in Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Ohio. Though I don't want to see them go, I certainly wish them the best and I hope they are able to thrive in their new multigenerational households.
