Hi LunarApprentice, thanks for the great comment! You're totally right -- it's used far too much by all sides. I notice that people are actually making small efforts to stop using it so compulsively though, here and there, and every little bit counts. I find the f word far more irritating than the c word. The c word makes me laugh a bit for reasons I have not meditated upon. There's an old joke about three street names in Chicago that rhyme with a woman's private parts and they are Paulina (pronounced Pow-line-uh), Melvina, and Lunt.
