Submit your question or request for a general "what's up this week" reading and I will be happy to oblige! I read between the time I post on Sunday night with a deadline of 8pm Monday night.

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. Please only donate if you can absolutely afford it. I've been there. Your prayers for my continued success are welcome whether you donate or not!

Oops! I forgot to mention, I have a specific problem that’s popped up this week. Do the Oghams think it will turn out to be a serious problem, or not?

P.S. If you are wondering why I am asking questions at this hour, it’s because I had to visit the meditation room. 😊

What to do?

Hello Kimberly,

So my situation is that I currently have a job, I don't like it very much but it's been consistent throughout the corona event. However, I'm thinking that at some point I will find myself unemployed due to vax mandates. The other thing is that it keeps me stuck in the city, something that I don't think will be ideal for my family as things begin to unravel more. I want to figure out some type of self employment that I can make money at and that will allow me to be more mobile in terms of where I live. I have a number of talents amd skills, but I get completely stumped when it comes to what to do. I'm not sure if this is within the scope of your readings but any insight you could provide in terms of what direction to move in or how I could figure this out would be appreciated.

Thanks!

There are a lot of great freelance opportunities available on Upwork. I have freelance writing clients all over the world, and none of them have ever asked me whether or not I got the COVID-19 vaccine. Writing about expertise on a specific topic may be easier to sell than writing in general -- like a food writer, or a death writer, might do better than just a writer. They also have opportunities in administrative tasks/virtual assistant work, advanced computer/Internet skills, and more. https://www.upwork.com/freelance-jobs/

Preparedness

Hi Kimberly,

Husband and I have been slowly organizing and adding to our pantry and coming up with ideas about what other preparedness leaks need plugging in advance of further virus craziness.

Are we about where we need to be in this? If not, any hints about what we have overlooked?

Thanks!

Valerie

Hi Kimberey,

I was going to start with „I‘m completely new to this, so apologies if my question doesn‘t make any sense in this context“ - but then I saw that somebody else posted a question along similar lines, so… here we go. ;-)

We‘re doing our best to get prepared for what‘s coming up, but there is so much to do, and (alas ;-) ) there are limits on time and money.

Doing everything at once (from building up a food supply to expanding the garden to shopping and storing other essentials to learning important skills to doing some much-necessary building work on the house to …) is simply not feasible.

So we do one step at a time, but I‘m never quite sure if we prioritise the most important things.

Can the runes tell me which areas or things are the top/first priority for our particular situation, i.e. what should we focus on first/get in order first?

Thanks,

Milkyway

Argh - and I mistyped your name. Apologies. I‘m going to blame the autocorrect, that‘s always a good culprit, isn‘t it? :D

Hi Kim

A family member has night terrors. I was thinking of secreting a geometric pattern at the back of the bed's headboard or nearby. What would be the result according to the ogham? Thanks

Hello Kimberly!

What is the most important thing I should focus on right now and this week? Is there something I'm not seeing?

Regards

D

Hi Kimberly,

I work freelance and part-time, for multiple employers.

I am considering - well more like planning on - quitting one of the jobs. They have implemented oppressive covid policies, requiring proof of vaccination or negative test, plus masks, on site. I work mostly remotely, and when on-site, the negative test is allowed in lieu of vaccination, so the policies are not overly burdensome to me personally at present.

Needless to say, though, I don't want to continue working for them. But there are other factors, like wanting to keep the paycheck while I work on lining up new income, and also not wanting to piss them off by quitting abruptly, as it could hurt my reputation and ability to get future work in the field.

So my questions is,

Should I quit, and more importantly, how soon should I quit? ASAP and consequences be damned? Aim to be out by end of year? Some other time frame?

Thank you,

J.

Hey Kimberly. Thanks for doing these, my last two weekly readings have been helpful. Back again to see what’s up for me this week.

Also, if I may ask a second question, I’d like to know what your Ogham has to say about the current situation between myself and E.V.M.A., and what the course of action best for what’s between us would be going forward. If you’d rather keep it one question per person per week, no problem, I’ll come back and ask later on.

I have two questions this week.

Should I take out a signature loan with my credit union to pay off my credit card debt?

Am I on the right track to create a more harmonious home life?

Thank you,

MF

Afternoon Kimberly,

I'd like a general reading, if you would be so kind.

Best,
Andrew

New month…. hopefully better. How do things look for me? I don’t know what hurts more, me physically or emotionally! I catch little sparks of hope here and there, but they fade almost as quickly as they appear!

Hi Kimberly,
I'm working on a huge (art) project.
Will it provide me with what I hope it will provide me with?
Thank you.

I remembered too late to request a reading this week, but here's my report on last week's (Beith well-dignified, Ioho ill-dignified, Huath well-dignified):

I interpreted Ioho ill-dignified to mean that I was giving in too easily on my high-risk OB's pressure to get my other doctors to sign off on his plan for what to do if I need an emergency C-section ("what we always do, even though the other 2 doctors disagree"). I had an appointment already scheduled with one of them last week, so I put in extra prep effort for it. It went well and he said he was happy to talk with my OB on the phone. I then put in extra effort to send release forms to all the doctors and send portal messages to remind them to communicate with one another.

I may hear back from them beginning tomorrow. I figure the fact I forgot to request a new reading this week may mean this situation was always going to continue into this week. I will keep putting extra effort into this. We reach viability this week (IOW, they actually might decide to do an emergency C-section because the baby might survive it) so this is when they need to come to a decision.

(I have also been overworked this week because my FSA was finally unfrozen so I've been catching up on submitting disbursement requests (half an hour's work per appointment! FSAs stink) so it may just have meant that.)

Thanks again for offering these readings!
